“Great communication and flexibility. They also offered a half price trial overnight which was a great idea. I was uncertain how Riley would do with young children as she’s never had experience with kids younger than middle school age and having this trial before a week long stay made me more comfortable. Riley had a good time with them and Dunkin. We’ve booked that week long stay.”

“Finn had another wonderful stay with Melanie! We loved the picture & video updates and felt at ease while we were away. My dog seems very comfortable at her house and loves playing with her pup!”

“As always Jill and Chad are fantastic! If we could give a 100 star rating we would! We are so happy that Lizzie is becoming more comfortable with them and their family ❤️. We will recommend Jill and Chad any time.”

“Allison D was a great care giver for our Cricket. She played with, cuddled and entertained her and told us Cricket was well behaved and welcome to return if we needed care provided again in the future.”

“Pamela was awesome. We had a meet and greet and our Nikki found a friend in Leo. Pamela sent images and updates through out the stay. I was so comfortable knowing Nikki was in good hands and having fun. We will definitely call on Pamela again.”

“We were very pleased to have our dog stay with Whitney. We appreciated the updates which kept us assured our dog was doing well. We look forward to working with Whitney again!”

“Pat and Bee are A+ sitters. They provide daily updates, pictures and videos throughout the stay. Each time our dog has stayed with them she has come home happy and well cared for. Highly recommend and will book again.”

“Can’t say enough great things about how well Briana and Isaiah care for my pup! We love them and fully trust them to care for her when we are away! I never stress if my dog is okay and she’s always happy to see them and happy and healthy when we get her back! You’ll have no regrets leaving your fur babies with them!”

“I can’t say enough about Gisel and her family that gave us a warm welcome the moment we connected. At our meet and greet, I knew she was the one to host our #furbaby Cody. Even her children were loving towards him. They are a wonderful family and far exceeded our expectations of caring for our Cody with pics and videos the whole seven days. Our neighbor uses her as well for their Yorkie and are very pleased with the care they’ve received. The bonus for us, she’s a stay at home mom and Cody was not left alone all day. She has small dogs as well and he was able to meet new friends. This was our first time leaving Cody without family and Gisel eased all of my anxiety because of her love for animals. We’ll be using her again soon.😊”

“I have two labs and their stay with Zach was stress free for them (and me)! We met Zach a month ahead of the time to drop them so he could meet them, they were immediately at ease with Zach and his wonderful pup Archer. Zach communicated each day of the stay and the pups were happy and worn out (in a good way) at pickup. Will absolutely reach out to Zach on my next need for extended sitting help and an easy recommend for anyone looking for a lovely home and a caring person for their pups.”

About: Love many different types of animals and have pet sat for many people in my family over the years. From my experience every dog has liked me. I have minimal knowledge in training dogs. And can adapt my environment to fit the personality of the dog. Im currently in college, so Mondays-Thursdays are busy for me but I am almost always available Friday-Sundays. On the warmer days I like to go for a walk around the neighborhood and back. I have a fare sized fenced yard. A 8-year-old yorkie, he is very sweet and friendly with other dogs, not much of a barker. Two other reptiles locked in their tanks, the will never be a concern with them they are very small.

“I highly recommend Angelene! This was my first time using Rover, she put my mind at ease and let me know Blue was in good hands. Angelene sent pictures of Blue which helped , especially because we were out of state, even being miles away I knew he was doing well. Angelene was flexible with scheduling and very understanding when I had to change the pick up date and time. I truly appreciate her services and extremely happy we now have a trusted caregiver for our boy Blue!”

“Kathleen has cared for my 2 year old Lab Mix several times. She sends me daily updates on how he is doing along with pictures. She is extremely accommodating and her home is completely dog friendly. She makes sure that my dog and her dogs get along. I highly recommend her and I feel reassured that my Dog is receiving the best care when she is watching him.”

“Paris, is such a wonderful sitter. My pup, Jayce, really loves her and her fur babies. My mind is always at ease when I have to travel for work and Jayce is in her care. She's also very understanding. A family emergen”

“Great experience with Jessica. Close, convenient, received good feedback over 8 days, and an early meet and greet was scheduled to meet her dog which by the way he was a perfect companion dog . Will use Jessica again! I recommend her .”

“Finn had a great time staying with Tarina! She helped him up and down stairs and snuggled with him when he was scared of storms. She took such good care of him and I had peace of mind when I was away knowing he was in great hands. I am grateful we found her!”

“Jessica welcomed Bella with warm and open arms despite the last minute booing inquiry. She saved a Christmas vacation! She took exceptional care of Bella, sent picture and video updates and showed her much love. I high recommend Jessica to watch over your furry loved ones, and will definitely be reaching out to her again when Bella needs boarding. Thank you!”

“Danielle was wonderful! I was at ease the moment we met. She made sure our dogs had a chance to be introduced before we boarded. I also loved that she asked me how much contact I wanted about my pups stay- did I need a daily photo or was I comfortable enjoying my vacation while my dog enjoyed his? I definitely recommend her and will use her again!”

Tanner came back tired and happy from his stay! It was so comforting to know that this wonderful family was there to keep him safe while we were away. He loved his daily walks and he was even spoiled with some treats to bring home which he showed us right away! I would happily book with Hayley again!

Allison was AMAZING!!! There is no other words for the care that was given to our Lil family member, Mirabel, that stayed with her. As this was the first time using "Rover" I was kinda hesitant but after meeting with her all my questions were answered and I felt content to leave Mirabel with her. Just the greatest!!!

Jacob and Megan just watched my fur baby (Chloe) for the first time, and they were so great! We had a meet-and-greet prior, so Chloe could check out their surroundings and meet their dog. They are extremely kind and welcoming, and their home is the perfect environment for doggy care. I received regular updates and pictures throughout the weekend, and didn't worry about my Chloe at all. I highly recommend Jacob and Megan! Chloe will definitely be back!

Will is super kind and responsive! We met beforehand to see if my dog's were a good fit. I knew after meeting with him, that they would be in good hands. Also, he sent us photo updates during our trip. My dogs seemed super happy when we went to pick them up. I would use him again. Highly recommend!

Jessica did a fantastic job watching our (slightly) high maintenance cattle dog! Our dog was extra nervous/neurotic while we were out of town and Jessica was so attentive and patient with her, even when she wasn’t on her best behavior. We will absolutely use her in the future. She is a gem!

Many sitters in MD ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
