About: Hi! I’m Grace, a recent graduate living at home before going to a post-grad program in the fall! I absolutely love all dogs and have had them my entire life, training two of them since they were puppies, and I even brought one with me to college! I’m flexible and happy to help in any way needed! Thank you so much for considering leaving your pups with me, they will be in wonderful care!! As I am a recent graduate, I do not have any other responsibilities than your pups! I’m flexible in this way and can rearrange my schedule in any way needed. I prefer to care for your pups in your own home, so that they can feel comfortable in their own environment. In terms of drop-ins and walks, I will always make sure to work with you to schedule a time where the weather (heat especially) is safe for your dog.
“We left our lab at home with Sydney for a out of town wedding we were gone from Thursday - Sunday Sydney was Awesome with our Gilbert & spent so much time with him we appreciate her help so much and couldn’t be more grateful!”

“Julia did a fantastic job watching our dog while we went out of town! She was very responsive and took great care of our dog and our home while we were away. We can be apprehensive about leaving our dog home, but Julia allowed us to rest easy and enjoy our vacation because of the care and attention she gave each day. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trusted professional to watch their pet, and she will be our go-to resource for our dog moving forward.”

About: I've taken care of neighborhood cats/dogs for over 10 years. I grew up taking care of both cats and dogs in my own home as well. I am comfortable walking, feeding, and cleaning up after pets. I have also volunteered at various animal shelters throughout the years. I currently have a flexible schedule during the summer months and am available most weekends and weekdays. I work on Thursdays and Fridays, but I am available to care for your pet in the evenings on these particular days. I would love to connect with you to find a schedule that works best for you and your pet! I have experience walking, feeding, crating, and cleaning up after pets in the home. I'm not currently looking to house pets in my own home!

About: I previously worked with an animal sanctuary training dogs, and have fostered dogs for over 5 years. I absolutely love animals and would love to help anyone I can!!😊😊 I work part time, with lots of flexibility to play with your pets! I do not currently do boarding as I do not live alone, but am available for overnight stays, stop-in’s, or even just a quick walk! While I do not offer boarding, I take all animals as seriously as my own and can guarantee nothing but safety and the best care.
About: I’ve had the wonderful privilege of caring for animals over many years. My experience has not been related to a professional, service-based company, but instead was gained through personal care of my own pets, as well as the pets of friends/family. I have lovingly cared for puppies/dogs, kittens/cats, rabbits, and a ferret. I am confident in the knowledge I have gained, and I am always open and eager to learn more. Caring for animals has brought tremendous joy to my life and sunshine to my days. I am currently unable to have pets in my home due to both allergy and sensory issues of family members. For me, the next best thing was to pivot and find that same joy providing dependable, loving, pet-care services for others! I'm truly grateful for this opportunity. I look forward to developing great, working relationships with individuals/families, while treating their pets with all the attention, love and care that I would give my own. I look forward to all the walks, cuddles and playtime! I have lots of love to give!
About: Hi there! I’m someone who truly believes dogs make life better. I’ve had dogs in my life for 25 years, and while my own two pups are with me part time, my house feels so much fuller—and happier—when they’re around. That’s why I’m excited to open my home and my time to care for your dog as if they were my own. I’m recently divorced and building a new chapter for myself, one that centers around doing what I love: spending time with dogs. I work from home, which means I’m able to give pets lots of attention throughout the day—walks, playtime, belly rubs, or just good company when they want to relax. I have extensive experience with large dogs, but I’m comfortable with pups of all sizes and personalities. I pride myself on being highly attentive, reliable, and communicative—I’ll keep you updated with photos and notes so you’ll always know how your furry friend is doing. If you’re looking for someone caring, responsible, and genuinely dog-loving, I’d be honored to be that person for you and your pet. I am an early riser who works from home so meeting the needs of your pet will be an easy addition to my current routine. I have a fully fenced back yard and a finished basement that allows plenty of space inside and out for your pet to explore, play and feel safe. I have a large dog crate if that is your preference but my dogs sleep on the couches.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all kinds since I was 10. Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, and love their pets like my own. I’m comfortable with puppies, senior dogs, and pets that need extra patience. I always make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. I am a college kid home for summer and this will be my full time job so as long as there are no other pet sitting jobs I should be free whenever you need me! I treat every pet like they’re my own and always follow any specific instructions you leave. Whether I’m in your home or mine, I make sure pets are safe, calm, and comfortable. I keep doors secure, avoid unsafe areas on walks, and give your pet the love and attention they need to feel at home—even when you’re away.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 10 years old!! I love all animals honestly. I’ve walked dogs, cleaned litter boxes. I’ve also bathed pets. Also cuddles are a must! Also play time is important! I would love to pet sit anytime! Pet care would be during the week in the evenings. The weekends I’m free to anything! I can do overnight stays on the weekends, I can walk, feed, and bathe pets. Depending on which service I’m doing, I do have a yard which your dog can play in. I also can bathe pets and feed them, and if you have a cat I can clean litter boxes and play and brush them!
“Allison was amazing with our pittie mix rescue who was a stray for 2 years and can be anxious and skittish. She immediately loved Allison (more so than she even loves us, I was joking with my husband) and even went to sleep while Allison was watching her which is unheard of for our dog. Highly recommend, Allison is truly a dog whisperer!”

About: I am flexible, reliable and passionate about the best care for pets! I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friends soon! Thank you! I currently work as a bather and I have some free time that I would love to occupy by taking care of your beloved pets! I can feed, walk, and bathe your fur babies to make sure they are happy and in the best health they can be at all times!

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Bel Air
We are very pleased with the care Alexis gave our dog and our home. We were away for two weeks and during that time she communicated with us several times (which we managed with a 6 hour time difference!) including photos of our dog. She followed our directions to a T regarding our pet and our house. We returned to a tidy home and happy dog. Knowing he was comfortable, cared for, and stress free in our home added that extra bit of ease to our vacation. We highly recommend Alexis for petsitting and hope to hire her again in the future.

Autumn took wonderful care of our two pups while we were gone for the weekend. She stayed in communication and provided updates through messages, and pictures. The best part is we were able to fully trust our dogs were taken care of which allowed us to relax on vacation. She left the apartment exactly how we left it. Will definitely be booking again!

Lindsay was amazing! She not only took care of our dogs and cat but we came home to a clean house and well-behaved dogs. She left us with written out tips and tricks to help with training the dogs. We will definitely use her again and are so grateful that the pets were in such great hands.

My dogs were will taken care of! She kept me in the loop and sent me pictures regularly which put my mind at ease. It's middle of summer and super hot: but despite the weather and the fenced in yard and doggy door, Briana still took them on walks most days which Lulu loved! She gave Lulu her medicine regularly and most importantly spent time cuddling them and giving them the love they need while I was gone. The house was neater than when I left. I really appreciate everything she did.

As of July 2026, there are 2,639 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Bel Air. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Bel Air walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Bel Air maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Bel Air choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Bel Air. On Rover:

- 94% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
