Pet care experience

Can’t wait to meet your pet!

Hi there! I am a wife and mother to a 16 year old daughter and 5 year old twin boys. We have a 13 year old large mutt who gets a long with every dog he’s ever met, even in his old age! I’m looking forward to taking care of your pet(s) like they were my own! I have over fifteen years of experience with handling dogs of all different sizes and growing up we always had a dog. I am pet CPR trained and am calm in all situations. I am comfortable around animals of all types and sizes. I do have an unfenced backyard, but we live on just over a quarter acre, flat lot, and the dogs will be leased or supervised when they are outside. I treat my own animals like humans and plan to do the same for your pet today! Our own dog, Otis, was diagnosed with diabetes, gets insulin shots twice an day, and has gone blind. His hearing is also almost completely gone. He’s still going strong, and because of that we have plenty of experience with medically complex or disabled pets. *dogs must be house trained, but no requirement for crate training. I would prefer spayed/neutered dogs, but with notice will accept unfixed, no females in heat.

Danielle took great care of Ginger from Wednesday to Sunday. Easy communication and a smooth experience. Ginger came home happy. We’ll definitely book with her again!

Danielle took excellent care of our Boxer. We felt comfortable with her watching him, and she even gave him his eye medicine during his stay. His eye medicine was needed due to an eye injury he sustained the day before he was to stay with her. She gladly took on this extra task with no hesitation. He loves dogs and people so it was a bonus that he could play with her family and her really nice dog Otis. We rarely need to board our dog but would gladly have him stay with Danielle again.

Always feel confident leaving our boy with Danielle. She will continue to be our go to for dog boarding.

Schedule

I am a stay at home mom, and currently my husband works from home, so pets will get regular potty breaks and lots of play time. Already having a dog ourselves, caring for another wouldn’t make much of a difference for our daily routine.

Where your pet will stay

Dogs allowed on furniture

Safety, trust & environment

I typically don’t require dogs to be crate trained, I like to let them have free roam of most of the house. I also like to stick to whatever routine your pet already has to keep them more comfortable while they’re away from their families! I also usually ask that you bring any special bed/toy/treat they may favor to help cut down on any anxiety.

Pets

A typical day

A typical day with your puppers will include lots of indoor play, toy throwing, and tug-a-war. We will also go outside as the weather permits, but typically try to take at least a 1 mile walk every day/every other day.
