About: We don’t have grandkids (yet), or a dog, or even a grand dog, so we thought, why not borrow yours? We’d love the opportunity to love and spoil your dog while you’re away! We had our own beloved dog, Chase, for 15 years, and he was truly part of our family. We still miss him, and we’ve discovered that one of the things we miss most is having a dog around the house. We’re not quite ready to make the commitment to having another dog of our own, but we realized we could get our dog fix by loving and spoiling yours! We both work full time, so our weekdays have dependable routings. We”re a caring, responsible couple who will treat your dog like family. We enjoy having a furry companion around, giving lots of attention and affection, and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their people are away. We’re happy to follow your routines, including feeding schedules, treats, medications, and all those little things that make your dog feel at home.We have a great neighbor for either long or short walks. We do have a couple of requirements because we want everyone to be safe and comfortable. We’re looking for dogs who walk nicely on a leash without pulling too much and who don’t jump on people. We’re happy to give your pup plenty of love, we just prefer that our walks don’t turn into an Olympic event! Our goal is simple: you get to enjoy your time away knowing your dog is being loved, and we get to enjoy having a temporary granddog. It sounds like a pretty good arrangement to us! ❤️ If your pup 🐶 is friendly, well mannered, and looking for a loving home away from home, we’d love to meet them. We both work full time but we’re home in the mornings and evenings, and we’re home all day on the weekends. Our adult so. Also lives with us and is sometimes home during the day, although his schedule varies from day to day and week to week. When he is home, he’s a responsible adult who enjoys dogs and is happy to give your pup a little extra company. Most importantly, your dog will have a consistent routine with us, along with plenty of love and attention, walks, and snuggles when we’re home. When your dog stays with us, they’re like part of the family, not just a guest! We want them to feel comfortable, safe, and right at home, so we’ll follow their usual routine as closely as possible, including meals, treats, walks, and any special instructions you provide. There will be plenty of affection, attention, playtime, and of course a few extra belly rubs if they’re willing to accept them! We’ll give your pup the same patience and care we would want someone to have given our Chase when he was with us. Our goal is for your dog to have a wonderful stay!
