Your dog deserves more than just a place to stay—they deserve a home where they're loved, understood, and treated like family. I've spent my life caring for dogs of all ages and personalities—from raising four puppies of my own (including one litter of 11 puppies!) to caring for senior dogs, diabetic dogs, anxious dogs, and pets who require daily medications. Every dog is different, and I take pride in learning what makes each one feel safe and comfortable. My friendly resident dog, Charlotte, enjoys making new friends, and I always take introductions slowly so everyone starts off on the right paw. My goal is for every guest to leave happy, relaxed, and excited to come back. I know how hard it can be leaving your pet behind, so you'll never have to wonder how they're doing. I love sending frequent photo and video updates throughout their stay, so you can see them playing, relaxing, making new friends, and feeling right at home. Many of my clients tell me their favorite part of vacation is getting those updates!

This was my first time using a dog sitter instead of boarding. The experience I had with Jennifer means I may never go back to boarding. Jennifer was the best! We were gone for a week and she made sure my 4 legged kids were happy and comfortable. The weather was all over the place that week and Jennifer even checked with me about the temperature in the house. The communication and pictures were top notch! Great experience!

Schedule
Pet care is an important part of my weekly routine. I work a full-time hybrid schedule, so I carefully manage my availability to ensure I can provide each dog with the attention and care they deserve. My availability calendar reflects the days I'm typically available for boarding, but if your dates fall outside of those days, feel free to reach out—we may still be able to find a schedule that works. My goal is always to keep your dog's routine as consistent and comfortable as possible while they're in my care.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet's safety and comfort are always my highest priorities. My home has a securely fenced yard for supervised outdoor play, a dedicated dog room for quiet time if needed, and plenty of cozy places to relax. Dogs are welcome on our furniture (protected with washable blankets), because many pets are used to cuddling at home—and I want them to feel that same comfort here. I carefully follow each dog's feeding schedule, medication instructions, exercise routine, and any special requests. Whether your dog needs medication, extra potty breaks, or a slower pace, I'm happy to accommodate them.

A typical day
Every dog's perfect day is different! Some enjoy games of fetch, tug-of-war, and lots of playtime in the yard. Others are happiest relaxing on the couch, exploring the neighborhood on leisurely walks, or simply hanging out with us. I adjust each day's activities to your dog's age, personality, and energy level so they feel comfortable, engaged, and right at home. I know bedtime routines are important, so I try to keep your dog's routine as close to home as possible. If your dog sleeps in a crate, I'll happily set one up in our dog room or move it into our bedroom. If they're used to sleeping near their people, they can relax on one of our dog beds beside Charlotte in our room. My goal is to make bedtime feel familiar and stress-free.
