“Shauna walked our dog a few days in a row while I was out of town, and we had a great experience! Her timing was very consistent and she did long walks and provided pictures each time. My dog can be nervous with new people, and she warmed up to Shauna quickly! Would definitely recommend her and we will be working with her again in the future. 😊”

About: Nick and Loren have been long-time pet owners from childhood and love helping others with their favorite animals. We truly miss having a dog of our own and would love to help you take care of yours! Nick works from home full time and Loren is available multiple times a week. We have a solid amount of bandwidth to help with any situation. We live in a 2 bed/2bath apartment where your animal will receive their own space. We also have an adjacent park in our complex, Kate Sessions nearby and a small/large dogpark right next to us. Plenty of opportunities for your dog to play!

About: I've always been the go-to pet sitter for friends and family, for dogs of all sizes and personalities. Like shy seniors who need a gentle touch and high energy pups who love a long walk and playtime. I take special notice of each dog’s unique routines and needs, whether that’s slow-paced walks, medication at a certain time, or extra belly rubs before bed. I'm very calm, patient, and observant and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and getting to know their quirks. I’ll treat your dog like they’re my own, keeping you updated with photos and notes along the way! I’m also super reliable, respectful of your space, and flexible with last-minute changes. I'm working part time, so I have time during the day to care for your dog! I'm usually around the Clairemont area and should be able to respond to requests soon. I have a fenced in yard and one doggie, Frankie, who is a 4 year old toy poodle with a loving and shy personality. She's fixed and up to date on all of her shots!

About: I’ve had dogs and other animals in my life for as long as I can remember. I have experience training puppies and caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. Additionally, I have spent summers volunteering at the Humane Society. Besides dogs, I’ve cared for horses, guinea pigs, birds, and even reptiles! My main priority is making animals feel like family, ensuring they feel safe and loved. I am very flexible and can help out most evenings and throughout the day to ensure the animals have proper care. Availability may slightly vary from week to week. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I respect your space and routines just as much as your pet’s. I keep things clean, secure, and quiet, making sure your pet is stress-free in their familiar environment. I stick to your instructions closely—whether that means medication, crate time, walks, or couch cuddles. I’m neat, trustworthy, and always keep you in the loop with messages and updates.

About: I love spending time with dogs, whether that’s going on walks, playing, or just making sure they feel safe and cared for. I’m happy to follow any routines or rules you have, and I’m pretty flexible, so feel free to reach out if you need someone to look after your pup! I’m very flexible, so feel free to reach out with your schedule. I’ll probably be able to make it work and am happy to accommodate your needs. I’ll happily follow any rules you have in your home to keep your dog safe and comfortable. I’m respectful of routines and can also do some light tidying up if needed.

About: Ever since I was a child, animals have been naturally drawn to me and I’ve always felt the same pull toward them. There’s something incredibly special about the quiet understanding that can form between a person and a pet, and I’ve been lucky to experience that bond time and time again. Whether it’s a shy cat or an energetic pup, I take the time to connect, read their cues, and create a space where they feel safe, loved, and at ease. I have had the honor of nurturing some incredible dogs along my journey and have been a reliable source no matter what stage of life the these precious companions are in. I share my life with three amazing animals—Kona, my 8-year-old “forever puppy” and loyal sidekick; Mochi, her playful and goofy 1-year-old little brother we recently adopted; and Boogz, my sweet senior cat who keeps us all grounded with her calm, cuddly presence. They’re all part of the family, and they go wherever life takes me (though Boogz prefers the comfort of home!). Kona has seen more of the U.S. than most people, and their unique personalities have taught me so much about compassion, patience, and how to meet pets where they are. I live in Pacific Beach and love taking advantage of the California sunshine every chance I get. I’m very active and health-conscious, so long walks, playtime at the park, beach strolls, and outdoor adventures are a regular part of life—for me and my pups. Whether your pet loves to lounge in the sun, chase a ball, or curl up in a cozy corner, I’ll make sure they feel cared for, understood, and loved. I’m patient, warm, and playful and I bring those qualities into every walk, drop-in, or cuddle session. I also take your pet’s health and routine seriously, making sure their needs are met with both structure and love. If you're looking for someone who truly gets animals and treats them like family, I’d be honored to care for yours! I work from home and have a very flexible structure which means LOTS of time to give attention to the pets. Whether it’s day or night, I am almost always within arms reach of the pets. I understand how important routine and structure are to pets. I’m happy to follow any care instructions or household guidelines to help your pet feel secure, respected, and comfortable. Whether it's feeding schedules, crate time, leash rules, or medication needs, I’ll honor your preferences to keep things consistent and stress-free. Our pets have free rein of our space but we also have gates that are put up to close off certain areas if need be. This was helpful when introducing our new pup to the cat.

About: I am a life-long dog lover and have taken care of my own pups as well as friends and family's dogs my whole life. I know what it is like to have to leave your dog while you are away and there is nothing better than knowing your best bud is well taken care of, SAFE, happy and loved. Your dog will love my backyard, multiple walks a day, plenty of toys/bones/balls and of course LOTS of cuddles! I will be with your pup all the time :) I work part-time and from home. Dogs in my care have a relaxing environment with ample space to choose from when they want to nap or play. I take my own dog to several dog parks around San Diego daily and will include your dog in the adventure if you are comfortable with that. We go to Fiesta Island daily with your permission! I have 1/3 of an acre of fully fenced in back yard space with trees, trails, canyon space, digging garden, turf and shaded outdoor room as well. Its a puppy paradise! My own dog loves to explore the canyon trail, lay around in the sun, hunt for lizards and then take a nap on the lawn chair - its a tough life! They have access to indoor and outdoor spaces, all of which are safe and comfy for the dogs.. When inside, there are lots of relaxing, calm places to nap (beds, rugs, quiet rooms, etc.) I love to play ball with them outside, or take a walk with them to explore the canyon space and yard.

About: I offer in-home boarding, house sitting, dog walking, and drop-in visits, and I’d love to care for your pet like one of my own! I live in a cozy home with a fully fenced yard and work fully remote with a flexible schedule, which means your pet will get plenty of attention, playtime, and potty breaks throughout the day. I have owned dogs and cats my whole life, and regularly volunteer at a dog rescue as well as a farm animal refuge. I am comfortable administering oral medication and accommodating specific needs for your pet. My boyfriend and I have a small, friendly terrier pup who loves making new dog friends, and a cat who’s calm, confident, and great with dogs too. Whether your pet is staying with me or I’m visiting them in their own space, you can trust they’ll be safe, happy, and well cared for. I know how important it is to have peace of mind while you’re away, so I make sure to send plenty of updates, photos, and videos. Let me know your pet’s routine and preferences, and I’ll make sure they feel comfortable and loved every step of the way. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry family! I currently work full time from home and have a very flexible work schedule, so I can accommodate frequent potty breaks, play time, and walks. At my home, dogs are allowed to go wherever they please and I can hang with them and work wherever they are comfortable. They will always be supervised whether in the office, living room, or in the yard. They are welcome to sleep on the bed at night if they want to, or on a dog bed in our room. Whatever is most comfortable for them we will accommodate!

About: I’ve grown up with dogs of all sizes and breeds and have been dog sitting since high school. I have one dog now and love to take her on walks, to the beach, and for puppycinos! I currently work from home M-F and am up early and stay up late! I take walks throughout the day, so might as well bring a fur friend along with! I have one cat and one dog who get along well with each other. Both of my pets are very calm and my dog loves other dogs!

About: I came out of the womb dog obsessed thanks to 101 Dalmatians. I got my first puppy when I was 8 and never looked back. I am the parent to an elderly shih tzu, and an auntie to at least 5 of my friends’ pups. With my dog being in the older stage of life I’m used to speciality care like medicated baths, ear drops, eye drops, etc. I’m currently in a self-led certification program on top of working on my writing portfolio, so my schedule is inherently flexible. I do ask to have at least 48 hours notice so I can tweak my schedule to fit your child’s needs. I do not board dogs because my shih tzu is old and grumpy. When it comes to a clients’ home I make sure to approach slow and let the animal get comfortable with me before walking/play time.

About: I have had pets my entire life- from birds to cats to fish to dogs to turtles...I’ve cared for and loved them all. I have done extensive volunteer work with rescue organizations in the past as well and I’m familiar with appropriate interactions with aggressive or scared dogs, how to care for puppies and new moms, as well as general care of dogs, cats, reptiles and rodents. I have 2 dogs of my own- a 5 year old staffordshire terrier named Cilantro and a 8 month old Cane Corso named Miss Lady. I am a fully disabled veteran with a lot of free time on my hands. My only stipulation is that your dogs must be friendly around children as I have a son who may accompany me sometimes. I do not offer services at my house, I prefer to keep your pet in the environment it is familiar with, therefore the environment will vary.

About: My dedication ensures your furry friend receives the best care possible. I specialize in personalized care tailored to each animal's needs, whether it's training, administering medication, or providing extra attention to senior pets. In my daily routine, senior care for my 16-year-old poodle mix is a priority. I schedule regular feeding times, administer daily medications, and ensure plenty of exercise and attention. I provide attentive care, considering the pet's age and needs. Water, food, walks, playtime, litter cleaning, you name it! Spending time with your pet brings me joy.

About: I have had two dogs since I was 10 years old and had taken care of of a litter of 6 for a couple months while finding homes for them I am in City College with no job. I just won’t be avoiding Monday & Wednesday until 2pm. Other than that I have all the time in the world Currently I have no pets in my apartment but when I do take care of dogs. I take them for 15-20 minutes walks a couple times a day and will play through out the day.

I’ll send multiple photos daily of your pups stay and time with me ☺️ I am willing and able to take care of dogs with special needs, whether giving meds, adhering to strict diets, or anything else in the best interest of the pup. We always had dogs growing up. I currently have a senior golden I adopted in 2021 and recently had to send my soul dog, a 14 year old havanese I got as a puppy, over the rainbow bridge. I also foster older dogs looking to find a forever home for their golden years. I work from home full time and love to walk so the dogs always go with me! My dogs love backyard fetch time and dog beach/Fiesta Island many times a week (I don’t take visiting dogs to the beach for safety). Your dog will be considered family while here at my house. That means walks, cuddles, lots of pets, and treats (so long as you're OK with it). They'll have access to the many dog beds around the house and access to outside (where there are more dog beds) whenever they want. I have fenced in front and back yards. The backyard has a 6ft fence and a security door that locks.
