About: I don't have any professional experience but I grew up with dogs since I was born. I don't have my own pets so I have a lot of time to give yours. I am currently between jobs so I am looking for some income and have an open schedule. I also don't have any pets so I can focus on yours! I will respect your home and pets safety when I visit. I can't wait to play with your pet and make sure while you are away they are cared for and secure.

About: Hi! I'm Megan, a trail-loving mom and lifelong animal lover who finds any excuse to be out on a nature trail with a wagging tail beside me. I’ve grown up with pets, from cuddly cats to an energetic Siberian Husky who taught me all about patience, play, and long walks! These days, I volunteer at local animal shelters and love giving gentle, thoughtful care to both dogs and cats. I can match your pet’s energy; whether that means a calm, slow-paced stroll for a senior pup, a playful fetch session in the yard, or a tail-wagging trail adventure for high-energy dogs. I’m happy to adjust activity levels so your pet gets exactly what they need. Whether it’s a calm drop-in visit, an energizing walk, or a cozy cuddle session, I treat every pet like they’re my own. I believe in clear communication, kind energy, and making sure your pet feels safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. Let’s make your pet’s day feel like a fun “back-to-school” experience, full of learning, playtime, and plenty of gold stars for good behavior! I’m typically available after 2:00 PM on weekdays for drop-ins, walks, and pet visits. If you're looking for afternoon or early evening care, I’d love to help! I provide calm, loving care in your pet’s own space, keeping their routine and comfort top priority. Whether it's playtime, feedings, or just quiet company, I make sure your pet feels safe, seen, and well loved while you're away.

About: I have taken care of dogs for family and friends for years. Others can rely on me to check in, feed, walk, and play with their dogs while away. In addition I am comfortable with all size dogs. My schedule is flexible. I currently work part-time and have plenty of time to watch your pets. My week to week availability varies, but typically am available during the week and weekends to care for your animals. Please reach out for specific availability options for your pet care! I do not have a fenced in yard. I have an elderly small dog that is friendly and keeps to herself. One benefit of my services is that I am very close to a park and the Prairie Path for dog walking and getting energy out. I am open to caring for your pets in your own home too.

“We are still so happy to have Jenny as our dog walker. The care and attention she gives our babies is unparalleled! Jenny is easy to communicate with, flexible, and thoughtful.”

“Thanks for your help Adam! I really appreciate it! Yes you’ll be hearing from us again. 😊 🐾 They were happy to see me but I could tell they were “pooped” out from the walk. Thanks again!”

“Jackie took the best care of our dog while we were gone for 4 days. She kept us updated and sent lots of great pictures, plus spent so much time playing with our dog since it was too cold to be outside. She is awesome!”

About: I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life, as well as my own hamster as a child. Some past pets i’ve sat have needed medications or help cleaning themselves, and I was able to provide that with no problems! I’ll be going to college classes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings, but i’m completely free to take care of your precious pets every other part of the day! I’ll make sure to keep an eye on your pets whenever I let them outside even if you have a fence. Making sure that all of your pets get plenty of time playing is also something important to me.

About: Animals have always held a special place in my heart. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments—from playful puppies to sweet seniors needing a gentler approach. I’m patient, reliable, and love making pets feel safe, loved, and happy. I also have experience with leash training, basic commands, and supporting dogs with special routines or sensitivities. Whether your pup needs a peaceful walk or a burst of playtime, I’ll meet them where they’re at and care for them like my own. I'm currently switching from full-time teaching to part-time nannying time so my schedule is about to open up greatly starting in June. Currently, I am available Mondays after 3, Tuesdays after 4, Thursdays after 5, and Fridays after 4. Once my other job is more structured, I will be adding significantly more available times throughout the week. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always take time to learn your pet’s routine, preferences, and any special needs so they feel secure and at ease. Whether in your home or on a walk, I stay alert and calm, keeping a close eye on their behavior and surroundings. I use positive reinforcement, never force interactions, and give plenty of love and patience. I treat every home with respect and every pet like family—because that’s what they are.

About: I have had pets all my life, including lizards, birds, fish, cats and dogs! We currently have a cat, labradoodle and 2 bearded dragons. We started pet sitting on Rover after our elderly diabetic dog passed away. I am knowledgeable and comfortable providing diabetic care and giving insulin shots. Please note: We do have a cat and his safety is our priotity. If you are unsure about cat friendliness, please let me know so we can discuss your dogs personality to determine if we'll be a good fit. I am a teacher, so over the summer I have availabilty to be home most of the day with your pet. During the school year I can provide care to pets that are comfortable being home alone for 7-8 hours a day or on weekends. I have a house with an unfenced yard. We have a long cable tie and a large yard. Please ensure that your pet comes with a well fitted collar or harness as we will take lots of walks!

About: I've been around animals for as long as I can remember. We've had cats, a dog, and several guinea pigs so I am familiar with their behaviors. I've been pet sitting through Rover now for a year and I'm currently volunteering at Anderson Animal Shelter with the cats. A few years ago I volunteered in the wildlife department there and learned to feed baby birds. I have incubated three different litters of abandoned duck eggs and raised them for about a week before giving them to the shelter to live a proper duck life. I currently am not employed but I am in school at Waubonsee right now. I took a year of nursing school here and I think I’m going to Aurora University in the fall for nursing. I’m open throughout the summer and should be able to still petsit when school starts up, since I’ll still be in the area. I make sure every animal is well cared for. I have lots of patience for animals and will do whatever is necessary to make sure they eat and go potty. It's important to me that the animals are comfortable with myself, so I will spend extra time with them in order to get them to that point.

About: I am currently available in the afternoons between 1:15-3:15 for dog walking your fur-buddy! We adopted a senior lab/golden mix a few years back, and we currently have a 6 year old lab who is best friends with our 5 year old kiddo! Please let me know if you have any questions or how I can help! I am currently a stay at home parent and have availability in the afternoons while my kiddo is at school. My 5 year old absolutely adores dogs, and while I am available for walks in the afternoon, he would love to meet new dogs and join me if there was an additional time needed! Please let me know if you have a different time-frame needed and we may be able to help out! I know the importance of coming home at night to a house just as you left it. I will treat your home like my own.

He balances firmness with a kind, loving approach, ensuring pets are both well-behaved and happy. His trustworthiness and dependability make him a reliable choice for any pet owner. Megan W.
“Character Reference for Megan Hi, I’m Megan’s twin brother, Matthew and if anyone knows her well, it’s me. From the moment we entered this world together, I’ve known her to be one of the most honest, loyal, and trustworthy people I’ve ever met. Megan has always been attentive and deeply considerate of others, with a strong sense of emotional intelligence and a natural instinct to care. She’s consistently shown a genuine concern for the wellbeing of others human and animal alike. From a young age, she’s been sensitive to the needs of those around her and values the autonomy and dignity of all living things. In recent years, I’ve watched her raise her children with grace, structure, and compassion. She approaches motherhood with both kindness and clear boundaries, qualities that also make her excellent with animals. She’s gentle, intuitive, and firm when needed. Megan is reliable, responsible, and deeply committed to any task she takes on. I would trust her with anything and I believe she would be an outstanding and dependable dog walker. Without hesitation, I recommend her wholeheartedly. Sincerely, Matthew Woodruff”

Caitlyn U.
“Caity is my 26 year old daughter, we as a family have housed many pets over the years (cats, dogs, bunnies, hamsters, fish, lizards, etc). She took part in caring for all of these animals and showed so much joy doing so. We also used to foster dogs before adaptation too! I have seen her love and care for all of these animals just as if they were her own. Caity cares and deeply loves our family dog, who is 13 years old, and has limited mobility. Caity is a responsible, reliable, and caring person that will put your pet's safety and well-being first. You can count on Caity while you are away!”

Emma K.

“Emma is amazing with dogs! She takes care of our dog Jaxx. She takes him on walks while we are at work and dog sits when we go out of town. The boys come home with their energy out and sleep after walks until we get home from work! She has been absolutely amazing and we would 100% recommend! Our dog is a 55 pound labradoodle who just adores when Emma comes to hang out with him.”

Kristine W.Star Sitter
“Kristine was a fantastic caregiver to our senior cats. She came promptly as scheduled, made sure their food and water were refilled and pampered them with attention. Once I came home from vacation to a second litter box! Kristine was concerned that 1 was not enough and took it upon herself to make things better for our cats. You will see upon first meeting that Kristine is a pet lover and is going to go above and beyond to make your pet(s) comfortable. I cannot say enough positive things about this caregiver!”

“Maureen was prompt, communicated thoroughly before and during the walk and sent a great picture too!”

Abby E.
“I've had Abby watch my dog a few times and can't say enough about how confident I am when I leave him with her. This is especially true as my dog would likely be considered a bit of a 'challenge' to watch, and it is difficult for us to find anyone who is not only available to watch him, but also capable of handling him. But with Abby I don't have to worry! She's a big runner, and was eager to take him with her on her runs! I know with her previous dog she also has some experience with more 'senior' dogs. She always sends us pictures, too, which is always fun. Abby is definitely my go-to!”

Lori is very good person, loves Tafi From the moment they met, Lori was calm, kind, and attentive. Tafi can be a little shy at sometimes, but Lori’s gentle energy put him right at ease.
