“Alison took extra special care of my two older dogs while I was gone for 10 days. Both of my pups have some health issues. She gave them meds, kept track of symptoms, and was proactive in letting me know about changes and concerns. She is always responsive and detail-oriented, and she shows genuine care for the whole family. From our conversations, I also know that she cares deeply about her community. I really appreciated getting regular photos of my dogs' goofy faces, and having that reassurance that they were happy and getting along just fine. Oh, and A++ for also looking after my ducks and plants!”

About: I have owned dogs and cats all my life. There has never been a time I haven't had an animal living with me. Until now... I’m retired and get my dog fix from dog-sitting. I believe that there is no greater love than the love from a pet. I started dog sitting when I was between teaching jobs. I have retired from teaching elementary art. “Jewel did a wonderful job stepping in with little preparation when my friend couldn’t stay with my pups while I was away. After a video meet and greet, Jewel came and figured out my pups complicated routines. She messaged when she had questions or concerns. Her co-sitter, Scout, was good with my dogs and extra careful with my elderly blind guy. My old guy, PV, wasn’t eating and we figured out that he had been missing his heart medication as well as his pain medication! As soon as his medication was straightened out, he was back chowing down. He fell in love with Jewel, leaning on her for pets — which he never does! Pearl, the diva head of the household, fell for Jewel right off and followed her around and slept with her and Scout. Not only did Jewel take great care of the pups, walking them daily and brushing them, she kept up the house so it was neat when I returned, took out the garbage, got the mail, and did poop scooping in the back yard as well as watering the plants! I will certainly have Jewel stay with my dogs again when I travel. If you have pets you love that may have complicated medication schedules, Jewel can manage and I highly recommend her.”

About: I had a German Shepherd which I brought home as a puppy, she was so scared. I cuddled up on the floor with her that first night until we fell asleep. After that she seemed so much more relaxed and curious about her new home and family. I taught her lots of commands and tricks very quickly! So fun and exciting! I even learned how to make homemade pupcakes for her birthday every year! I work the same hours everyday and always have weekends off so my evenings and weekends are pretty free to spend lots of time with your pet. I like to get as much information about the pet in order the give the best care and for your pet to feel the most comfortable. Sticking to their routine is also important.

About: I have multiple years under my belt with various animals. Whether it be your 20 year old cockatiel or your 9 month old puppy, I can handle it all! With a dog and a cat at home, I am already set into the schedule that pets require. It is always my number one priority from when I wake to make sure that my fur babies are taken care of. I grew up on a farm, so from an early age I learned to deeply care for my pets. I am attentive to every need and understand that pet care quality is more than just feeding and potty breaks. It’s about enrichment and cuddles too! I’m here to make sure your pet feels taken care of while you’re away!
