About: As a former veterinary assistant, I have years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and some exotics. As well as dog sitting for friends. But before that, I grew up an animal lover, naturally. From when I was young until now, I’m known for bringing in lost or injured animals— whether it’s a dog or an owl, no animal left behind, friends. ✌️ I have a bachelors in Biology/pre-veterinary science and for the last 11 years I’ve lived on a farm in old beech mountain community with 2 dogs, chickens, and help with my neighbors cattle when I can. I’m familiar with numerous dog breeds and knowledgeable on all ages. From puppy training to complicated senior care, I’ve walked through just about it all. But more importantly, I’ll love your babies as my own. They will be snuggled (if they’re into that) and have plenty of yard to run and explore. *because of my sons cat allergies/asthma, I cannot bring cats into my home. But I’m more than happy to do a drop-by visit to yours to care for them there. I’m currently working more remote days for the summer so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’ll keep my calendar updated with my switching working schedule. But weekends are almost always open! I have plenty of yard for them to run around and explore, as well as 2 very friendly dogs of my own to keep them company. Or if they’re a couch potato, I have one of those too and plenty of couch. I’m a homebody so I will be home with them. If you have special care instructions, that’s not a problem at all.

About: II’ve loved animals my whole life and have a natural gift for connecting with them—especially cats! I have extensive experience with medical care, including giving injections, liquid medications, and complex pill schedules. I also previously held a Groomer’s License in Colorado, so I am very comfortable handling pets of all sizes and temperaments. I moved to Elizabethton just before Thanksgiving to be with my parents and I became the primary caregiver for my father, who has dementia. It’s a responsibility I’m proud to take on. Getting out of the house to walk, play with, and fall in love with your pets is exactly what I need to stay balanced. Since I manage my dad’s daily tasks, I have a very flexible schedule and the time to truly focus on your fur-babies. I’m looking for that 'pet therapy' a reason to get out and about just as much as your pets are looking for a loving caregiver. I’ll be there whenever you need me to even in short notice! Safety and trust are my top priorities. When I am in your home, I am respectful of your space and extremely vigilant about door safety and environment hazards. I am honest about my capabilities; I would never attempt a medical or care task if I wasn't 100% confident I could do it safely. My vehicle is also set up for safety, with plenty of room and when needed a leash that conect to their collar or harness then buckes to the backseat so your pets are secure while we are on the go.

About: I have grown up around dogs since I was a baby. I also frequently volunteer at the animal shelter, mainly performing dog walking. Both young and old, I believe that dogs are such positive animals to be around and look after. I’m reliable, responsible, and always make sure pets feel safe, happy, and well-cared for. I just graduated college and am at home before I start working full time. My schedule is very open and I would love to fill it with some pet care! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow their routine as closely as possible—whether that means feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or cuddle time. About: Cared for dogs, cats, and various farm animals for many years in a variety of contexts. 31 years old Born and raised in Wilkes county, Appstate grad, traveled the world working on farms, taking care of children, and playing/caring for animals all the while Since I'm a teacher, I am very free during the summer, weekends, and during all the other breaks in the school schedule. During the summer (till mid August) I will be spending large amounts of time either in your home or taking care of pets as the larger portion of my day and night. During the school year, I will be able to provide intensive attention after normal work hours, and rich weekend experiences for your pets. My availability during the different holiday breaks like Spring and Christmas break are much like the summer. I will be sure to respect and follow any instructions given to a tee and deliver prompt communication throughout the entire process. About: I have a long history of in house pet sitting over the last 15 years as well as caring for my own. I feel comfortable with puppies, older dogs, giving medicine and exercising hyper dogs. I have 15 year old super mutt (junkyard dog as we like to say) and a 1.5 year old chocolate lab who are both well socialized and love all dogs. I have an extremely flexible schedule currently. Id love to be walking any dogs during the work day so they are nice and rested when you get home! My pets are beyond spoiled. But I wouldn't have it any other way! I love all dogs and will treat yours like my own! I like to maintain routines for pets and make sure they have a good balance of stimulation and rest.

About: Hello! I am Katrina. I am a recent graduate of Appalachian State University with a degree in Recreation Management and a double minor in Non Profit Organizations and Animal Sciences. I am located in Clover, SC. I absolutely adore animals; that love started from our family dog, my yorkshire terrier, Buddy. I have a lot of different availability so definitely feel free to contact me and so we can work something out. I love meeting new people and pets. I have not only taken care of my own dog but many of my friend pets as well. In addition to that, I have experience working at a doggy daycare and grooming salon along with field experiences from school with a multitude of farm animals. I am a super quick learner and am so excited to meet many new animals. :) I am Red Cross Cat and Dog First Aid/CPR certified and Pet Emergency Academy Reptile, Amphibian, Avian, and Small Mammal Emergency First Aid Certified. I am looking to build my pet care experience with doing Rover along with my job. My schedule is flexible which is why I’m always open to communication, figuring out how I can help you and your pet. I will follow any instruction you give me. I am comfortable crating a dog if uncomfortable situations arise. Reading body language is something I think is super important and practice often when handling animals. Constant check ins while I am with your pet is also essential in my care.

About: Retired from workforce, former military, active person, daily walks with our dogs—neighborhood, parks, trails. Worked with certified dog trainer for our two dogs. Time on my hands. I am retired and have plenty of time when not playing with our own two dogs and exercising. They are the center of our lives. We have a fenced in back yard for our dogs. Since I am retired, and my wife works part time, I spend most of my time with our dogs. We will not bring client’s pets to our home nor will my wife be a caretaker.

About: I've been loving my cat and dog for a good 15 years, and have plenty of love for your babies too! I'm comfortable administering meds and caring for older animals. From my volunteering, I can handle many temperaments. I'm confident in walking a good few miles as well. I'm currently working part-time, and its the summer so Im out of school and have plenty of time to dedicate to your babies! I'm officially only unavailable on Tuesdays and Sundays mostly. I'm a morning bird and night owl! I’ll give updates when you need and keep a watchful eye on your baby! I like giving them freedom to run around and play but i’ll make sure safety is my number one priority. Just treating them like my own!

About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life since I was a toddler. I have fostered, pet sat for friends and family many times and recently lost my own dog of 13 years. I recently retired and miss having a pup in my life. I’m available and flexible for daily walks as well as able to provide boarding in my home. I am very attentive and loving toward all fur babies. About: I grew up with two dogs in my house, a pug and an English lab. I have extensive experience caring for animals and have cared for many pets for neighbors, friends, and family since I was in my teenage years. I am able to walk high energy dogs and have the flexibility with my schedule to spend 30 minutes to one-hour visits if needed. I just started a new job in Boone which means I have more flexibility in the spring/summer, less in the fall/winter. I can commit to short but frequent visits and/or longer drop ins that can include a walk and some play time. I am able to drive to your house and safely care for your animals. I grew up with animals and around animals making me comfortable with all breeds and temperaments. I am extremely detail oriented and have wide experience house sitting and dog/cat sitting. I enjoy getting animals outside for walks or taking them to a dog park for fresh air and new smells.

About: I have over 45 yrs of experience in pet care. I was a dog trainer (now partially retired), owned my own pet sitting business for many years, fostered/adopted many rescues and I currently volunteer at and support several rescues. Animals are my heart and soul and I will treat your pets as if they were my own. I'm currently working part time and I will make myself available for your pet 24/7 whether it's late night potty trips outside or long walks during the day. I will care for your pets however you would like. I can do long walks, short walks, provide medications, specially prepared meals, play games, etc. I specialized in elderly dogs, hospice dogs and medical needs dogs when I fostered.
