About: Along with cats and dogs, I have cared for many exotics such as reptiles, rabbits, and guinea pigs. Your pets are family and I will care for them as if they are mine. I am currently a part-time sitter as I’m also a senior in college and work as a vet tech for an emergency clinic. Due to this, my schedule is constantly changing so my calander on rover isn’t always accurate, but I try to be as flexible as I can :) Owners are guaranteed to receive multiple pictures of the their pet(s) while in my care. I will follow the instructions given and always ask the owner first before an action if unsure.

About: I’ve always been an animal lover, from horses to reptiles! I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life, and some of the others throughout. We recently lost our dog to cancer at just shy of 13 years old, and I’m currently volunteering as a dog walker at the animal shelter to help fill that void. With the limited hours available there, I thought we could try this avenue as well. I work full time, but my daughter and I would love to find a dog to walk Wednesday through Friday evenings, or weekends! We are available some weekends for dog/cat care while you’re away as well. “Do you want your pets to feel so at home and comfortable that they are upset when they leave? Mark's house is the place to be! Due to unforeseen circumstances, Mark helped us on short notice and was able to provide us peace and reassurance that our babies were cared for! Mark kept our male and female German Shepherds, and they had an absolute blast. Mark sent us multiple photos and videos and kept us very up-to-date on what they were doing throughout their visit. He asked questions about their personalities and needs that showcased his care and attention to detail. With his knowledge and experience with German Shepherds, it really shined in the care he provided them! I would definitely recommend Mark, and especially recommend Mark to people with German Shepherds or working line dogs! We and our babies would love to use Mark again!”

About: I have a long history of in house pet sitting over the last 15 years as well as caring for my own. I feel comfortable with puppies, older dogs, giving medicine and exercising hyper dogs. I have 15 year old super mutt (junkyard dog as we like to say) and a 1.5 year old chocolate lab who are both well socialized and love all dogs. I have an extremely flexible schedule currently. About: Until 6 years ago I've ALWAYS had a kitty of my own since I was 13. Usually just one sometimes 2 or 3 and the one time 2 adults and 5 babies. My absolute favorite is male tabbys especially the big body ones lol. Just something about those chunky orange kitties I can't resist.

“I had an emergency and needed someone to take my two rough collies on their twice-daily walks. One is a retired service dog who is deaf, and the other is a young collie with epilepsy. Because of their special needs, I was quite anxious about finding the right person. Caitlin was exactly what I needed. She had a calm, reassuring presence and was warm, gentle, and playful with both dogs. She quickly understood their individual needs. By the second day, they were eagerly waiting for her arrival. Luna, the service dog, had never “done her business” on a leash before, but with Caitlin, she had no hesitation. About: Ever since my family got a collie as a pet when I was a kid, I have been in love with dogs. That has only enhanced as I’ve grown older and cared for my own. I am currently working remotely from home with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to care for and love on your pets. Prior to walking your pets or stopping by for feedings or playtime, I would like to meet you and your pets first, if possible. That way we can make sure we all feel comfortable! It will also give us a chance to talk through instructions and expectations. I know this isn't always feasible and that's ok.
About: I have taken care of animals ever since I was young. I would get paid to walk dogs and to check on cats and fish. I love hanging out with all animals! Being in college, it makes it hard to have one of my own, but this will allow me to opportunity to be around all the animals that I love! I just graduated from Wake Forest University, where I played volleyball. Volleyball taught me a lot about discipline and also shows that I am a very reliable person when it comes to scheduling and time management. I am a current graduate student in the SLP (speech-language pathology) program at App State and am available most evenings and all weekends! At school there is plenty of grass for the dogs to run around and I am able to bring the crate and everything into my apartment if needed. About: I grew up with two dogs in my house, a pug and an English lab. I have extensive experience caring for animals and have cared for many pets for neighbors, friends, and family since I was in my teenage years. I am able to walk high energy dogs and have the flexibility with my schedule to spend 30 minutes to one-hour visits if needed. I just started a new job in Boone which means I have more flexibility in the spring/summer, less in the fall/winter. About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life since I was a toddler. I have fostered, pet sat for friends and family many times and recently lost my own dog of 13 years. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Mark helped us on short notice and was able to provide us peace and reassurance that our babies were cared for! Mark kept our male and female German Shepherds, and they had an absolute blast. Mark sent us multiple photos and videos and kept us very up-to-date on what they were doing throughout their visit. He asked questions about their personalities and needs that showcased his care and attention to detail.
