“Kayla was absolutely wonderful with our dog, Boone. He warmed up to her right away, and she took great care of him during our Thanksgiving travels. She was reliable, thorough, and clearly very comfortable with dogs, which made it so easy to relax knowing he was in good hands. She even went above and beyond by bringing bottled water for him when our pipes froze. We’re so grateful for her help and would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.”

“Caitlin was amazing! The dogs loved her and she was prompt and reliable for their walk time.Caitlln went above and beyond and came over to the cabin beforehand for a meet and greet.she is such a lovely person and will definitely be using her again on our next visit.I thoroughly recommend anyone to use Caitlin from Rover.com”

About: Pet care is my full time job, so I have open availability! I am also a proud owner of a fully trained German Shepard. I’m open to doing dog walking/playtime, day sitting and overnights! I’m a full time student graduating in criminal justice with bachelor degree this coming summer 2027 who is responsible and dependable. All prices are negotiable depending on the needs. I’ve been a pet lover and caretaker since I was 10 years old. I’m 22 yrs old now and a proud owner of a 5 yr old German Shepherd who is fully trained. I believe all animals deserve one on one attention, care, & Love. I care for pets by making sure their basic needs are met first. Along with assuring each pet is happy and are enjoying their time with me. So much that I want them to be excited with just hearing my name. Whether in my home or at a clients home I follow any specific care instructions, maintain a clean space and provide consistent attentions, love and care to help pets feel safe and happy in my presence.
About: I’ve always been an animal lover, from horses to reptiles! I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life, and some of the others throughout. We recently lost our dog to cancer at just shy of 13 years old, and I’m currently volunteering as a dog walker at the animal shelter to help fill that void. With the limited hours available there, I thought we could try this avenue as well. I work full time, but my daughter and I would love to find a dog to walk Wednesday through Friday evenings, or weekends! We are available some weekends for dog/cat care while you’re away as well. We love walking dogs, playing fetch, petting them, and providing lots of love. We enjoy playing with cat toys, and giving them plenty of attention as well.

About: I have a long history of in house pet sitting over the last 15 years as well as caring for my own. I feel comfortable with puppies, older dogs, giving medicine and exercising hyper dogs. I have 15 year old super mutt (junkyard dog as we like to say) and a 1.5 year old chocolate lab who are both well socialized and love all dogs. I have an extremely flexible schedule currently. Id love to be walking any dogs during the work day so they are nice and rested when you get home! My pets are beyond spoiled. But I wouldn't have it any other way! I love all dogs and will treat yours like my own! I like to maintain routines for pets and make sure they have a good balance of stimulation and rest.
“Lucy greeted Angel as soon as she arrived. Angel was very prompt with her arrival time and texted/sent pictures very often. Lucy had a great time with Angel. We we very lucky to have found such a great pet sitter. I would definitely recommend Angel for your pet.”

About: Hello! I am Katrina. I am a recent graduate of Appalachian State University with a degree in Recreation Management and a double minor in Non Profit Organizations and Animal Sciences. I am located in Clover, SC. I absolutely adore animals; that love started from our family dog, my yorkshire terrier, Buddy. I have a lot of different availability so definitely feel free to contact me and so we can work something out. I love meeting new people and pets. I have not only taken care of my own dog but many of my friend pets as well. In addition to that, I have experience working at a doggy daycare and grooming salon along with field experiences from school with a multitude of farm animals. I am a super quick learner and am so excited to meet many new animals. :) I am Red Cross Cat and Dog First Aid/CPR certified and Pet Emergency Academy Reptile, Amphibian, Avian, and Small Mammal Emergency First Aid Certified. I am looking to build my pet care experience with doing Rover along with my job. My schedule is flexible which is why I’m always open to communication, figuring out how I can help you and your pet. I will follow any instruction you give me. I am comfortable crating a dog if uncomfortable situations arise. Reading body language is something I think is super important and practice often when handling animals. Constant check ins while I am with your pet is also essential in my care.
“Anna is very nice, professional and loves animals. I could tell Solo enjoyed her company when she sent me a photo of him when she came over. I felt very comfortable letting her come in my home while I was away and will be using her services again without hesitation.”

About: I’ve always had a love for animals and understand that every pet has their own personality and routine. I take the time to get to know each pet so they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you’re away. Whether it’s playtime, walks, cuddles, or simply keeping them company, I treat every pet like they’re my own. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your furry family member is in loving, reliable hands. As a college student, I don’t have the time to have a pet of my own right now, so pet sitting is the perfect way for me to spend time with animals while helping other pet owners. I genuinely enjoy caring for pets, whether that means going on walks, playing, or simply keeping them company. Pet care fits well into my schedule, and I love being able to give pets the attention and care they deserve while their owners are away. I primarily provide care in my clients’ homes because I believe pets are happiest and most comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow each pet’s normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, medication (if needed), and lots of love and attention. I also make sure their home stays clean and secure while they’re away. If I care for a pet in my own home, I’ll provide a safe, calm, and pet-friendly environment where they receive plenty of supervision, exercise, and affection.

About: II’ve loved animals my whole life and have a natural gift for connecting with them—especially cats! I have extensive experience with medical care, including giving injections, liquid medications, and complex pill schedules. I also previously held a Groomer’s License in Colorado, so I am very comfortable handling pets of all sizes and temperaments. I’ve cared for animals with everything from broken limbs to chronic diseases, so your pet is in very capable hands." I moved to Elizabethton just before Thanksgiving to be with my parents and I became the primary caregiver for my father, who has dementia. It’s a responsibility I’m proud to take on. Getting out of the house to walk, play with, and fall in love with your pets is exactly what I need to stay balanced. Since I manage my dad’s daily tasks, I have a very flexible schedule and the time to truly focus on your fur-babies. I’m looking for that 'pet therapy' a reason to get out and about just as much as your pets are looking for a loving caregiver. I’ll be there whenever you need me to even in short notice! Safety and trust are my top priorities. When I am in your home, I am respectful of your space and extremely vigilant about door safety and environment hazards. I am honest about my capabilities; I would never attempt a medical or care task if I wasn't 100% confident I could do it safely. My vehicle is also set up for safety, with plenty of room and when needed a leash that conect to their collar or harness then buckes to the backseat so your pets are secure while we are on the go.

About: What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals and my hands-on experience caring for pets every day. I currently help care for four dogs, giving me daily experience with feeding, exercise, playtime, and meeting the needs of multiple pets. I also volunteer at my local animal shelter, where I help care for both dogs and cats of different ages, sizes, and personalities. I have previously owned cats, which has given me a strong understanding of feline behavior and care. I am patient, dependable, and attentive, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free experience for both pets and their owners. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I work part-time at Fish Springs Marina, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for pets. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting before and after work, as well as on many weekends. I enjoy spending time with animals and make it a priority to provide reliable, attentive care while keeping each pet on their normal routine. I believe every pet deserves to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owner is away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and any special instructions. I always keep pets secure by using leashes during walks, ensuring gates and doors are closed, and paying close attention to their behavior and needs. I treat every home with the utmost respect and keep owners updated with messages and photos so they can have peace of mind knowing their pets are in caring, trustworthy hands.
About: I have over 45 yrs of experience in pet care. I was a dog trainer (now partially retired), owned my own pet sitting business for many years, fostered/adopted many rescues and I currently volunteer at and support several rescues. Animals are my heart and soul and I will treat your pets as if they were my own. I'm currently working part time and I will make myself available for your pet 24/7 whether it's late night potty trips outside or long walks during the day. I will care for your pets however you would like. I can do long walks, short walks, provide medications, specially prepared meals, play games, etc. I specialized in elderly dogs, hospice dogs and medical needs dogs when I fostered.
About: I grew up with two dogs in my house, a pug and an English lab. I have extensive experience caring for animals and have cared for many pets for neighbors, friends, and family since I was in my teenage years. I am able to walk high energy dogs and have the flexibility with my schedule to spend 30 minutes to one-hour visits if needed. I just started a new job in Boone which means I have more flexibility in the spring/summer, less in the fall/winter. I can commit to short but frequent visits and/or longer drop ins that can include a walk and some play time. I am able to drive to your house and safely care for your animals. I grew up with animals and around animals making me comfortable with all breeds and temperaments. I am extremely detail oriented and have wide experience house sitting and dog/cat sitting. I enjoy getting animals outside for walks or taking them to a dog park for fresh air and new smells.
“Jaszmyn went above and beyond for us. The power went out while she was here and she didn't leave until she got in contact with me to let me know and how to proceed with closing up our home. I have used jer twice now and will continue to in the future..”

About: Not only do I get along well with animals, I also understand the importance of being a great pet sitter. For me it’s about going above or beyond whether it’s sitting with the pet to ease their nerves that their owner is gone or taking them on their favorite adventure (my dog Gus loves to swim in creeks)! In addition, taking care of the home while the pet owner is away is a essential to my beliefs around pet sitting such as bringing in the mail or washing out water bowls. I am currently a student at Appalachian State getting my master certification in GIS. When I am not in class, I am looking to take care of your furry friend! While I have pets of my own in my home that does not allow me to care for pets in my own home, I care for pets in my client’s home by adapting to their pet owners needs and making it a smooth and reliable process!
About: I have 2 dogs of my own (a mini schnauzer and a cattle dog). I always watch my families pets when they go out of town and they always know they’re in amazing care and are spoiled to the max when gone. They rely on bathing, feeding, walking or letting them out to run in their back yard, clean up accidents, and play with them. I do work full time unless my schedule changes so if it changes and I can always update anyone on that and go earlier if possible. During the week I am available to walk/check in between 7am to 8am before work typically unless my schedule changes and after work would be after 5:30pm unless my schedule changes and I get off earlier and weekends I am completely flexible! I can play with the dogs in your home or your backyard if you have one. Feed and water them if they’re on a schedule. Ensure gates/doors are locked/closed to ensure safety.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
