About: Hello! My name is Katherine and my experience with animals has ranged from volunteering to in home sitting. I am so excited to offer my services and meet your furry friends. Not only do I love meeting new breeds, but I care about their health and wellbeing. My weekly visits to my local animal shelter gives me a chance to showcase my passion for helping dogs who lost their homes. My volunteer experience includes walking, feeding, and caring for various breeds of all sizes! These visits have made me familiar with a dog’s body language that may signal how they are feeling. We meet many new dogs each week that are new to this environment and may be very nervous and timid. This also has given me a chance to learn how I can gain a dog’s trust with friendly mannerisms. I can’t wait to get started on Rover and meet your furry little friends! I have recently graduated with a bachelors degree from college and am looking for opportunities to spend time with animals. Currently, I have a part-time job and have lots of time to care for and visit any animals needing company throughout the week. My dog at home gets daily walks and has a runner in my backyard for when she needs to go outside. I often give her treats when she is being a good girl and notice if she needs to use the bathroom outside. At my local shelter, I am able to feed large and small dogs and leash dogs who are unfamiliar with me. I tend to make sure my posture and manners are friendly with all the pups! I also make sure to notice when a dog needs praising and do not ignore their good behavior!

“Rebecca was great with Duke! She got him outside but not too long in the heat. Provided love and treats-what more could he need!”

About: I’m available for home visits with dogs and cats, dog walking, and occasional house sitting. I have two wonderful dogs and grew up with cats—I truly adore animals and love spending time with them! I can take your pets for walks or jogs, change litter, feed them, and give them plenty of care and attention. I’m reliable, friendly, communicative, and very responsive. About: My family raised Irish terriers for 20 years so I have taken care of dogs in whelp as well as senior dogs. I am comfortable around animals of all sizes and have trained two strays into loving family pets. I recently retired and want to do work that I love; and there is nothing more special than taking loving care of other people’s fur babies now that my elderly dogs have passed. I have an air conditioned home with a spacious tiled mudroom for dogs who need an enclosed space. I have a fenced in area outside and a spacious yard for play on a leash. My neighborhood is safe and dog-friendly— great for long walks!

About: I have been taking care of pets for friends and family for the last 5 years and it’s always been a welcome opportunity as I was never allowed to have pets growing up. I love nature so long dog walks are never boring. I also have experience petsitting so I’ll make sure your pet is never lonely. I am able to stay with your pet all day and on weekends as well. The longest I would be out is 4 hours, but that would be very intermittent. I’m respectful of clients’ homes and I want the pet to be as comfortable as possible. If the pet makes a mess I will be sure to clean it as soon as possible and the return the place to how it looked before if not cleaner.

Christina A.
“My granddaughter, Charlotte, who will be providing pet service with the help and supervision of her mother, Christina, would be a wonderful pet caregiver. From the time she was 3 years old, Charlotte had a great fondness for not only my cats and dog, but also for my (local animal shelter) foster kittens. From such a young age she always wanted to walk my dog, Copper, on a leash and teach him commands. She loved feeding the cats and foster kittens and always took great pride in scooping their litter boxes!! She would spend as much time as possible playing with and caring for my numerous litters of foster kittens. She was very thorough and responsible in helping me with their feedings and socializations. Now that she's older, whenever she comes for a visit, she loves to do adorable photo shoots of them and is always very sweet and gentle when posing them, still helping me with the "chores "and socialization. She's a true animal lover and one that can be trusted to provide the best of care for people's beloved pets.”
