“Connor was fantastic! Our pup is high energy and very affectionate, so it takes a special person to care for him. Connor did a great job of making our dog feel at home while we were away and even FaceTimed us so we could say Merry Christmas during the holidays. This was our first time using Rover so we were nervous but Connor really took care of both us and our pup!”

“Sara was very professional, responsive, and seems to have a lot of experience! She met me and my dog before taking us on as clients, which made me feel super comfortable trusting her with my baby. Highly recommend!”

“I had a great experience with Robin. She was professional, asked a lot of questions, and kept in good communication with me throughout the time she was working with us. I felt assured that my dog was in capable and caring hands! Highly recommend!”

“Fanni is wonderful and I felt at ease when Chomper was in her care. She is communicative, responsible, and even braved walking up 13 flights of stairs when the elevator in my building was out. I am so appreciative of her time and would highly recommend her for any pet care needs!”

“Stavroula has been great! She communicates well and sends me several pictures of my dog Winston doing his business. I actually have two dogs. Winston was just adopted on Christmas Eve and he's a little over a year old. He isn't fully housebroken due to being found as a stray. When she gets here to let him out, he and my other dog Benson get pretty excited. She deals with their mayhem without complaint. I definitely recommend her!”

“Leslie was amazing with our dog, Bucky! Bucky is a stubborn Shiba Inu, but with her patience and kindness, Leslie won his trust and heart over. She was also very understanding and attentive to his needs. We could tell that she really cared about him like we do. We are forever grateful to her and would definitely rebook and recommend Leslie to our friends and family!”

“Kimberly does a great job walking our energetic lab/rottweiler mix twice a week! She’s always on time, sends photos from the walk, and we can tell when we get home from work that our guy gets a good workout on his walks :)”

“Malcomn is wonderful with our dog Rosie. She is very friendly generally but she took to him right away and gets so excited to see him for walks. Malcomn is also very communicative and provides detail of their walks together. He also somehow manages to get the best photos of our girl when they are out for walks. 10/10, no notes!”

About: Hi there! My name is Katherine and I look forward to meeting you and your furry loved ones! 🐰I’m a proud bunny mom to a 2-year-old holland lop, so I know how delicate and special rabbits are. I understand their unique needs—from diet to behavior and safety—and always provide gentle, attentive care. Rabbits have a special place in my heart, and I’d love to care for yours like one of my own. 🐱I volunteer regularly at a local animal shelter, where I help socialize cats—gently getting them used to people and giving them time to stretch, play, and feel safe outside their cages. For drop-in visits, I’ll make sure your kitty is fed, watered, litter box freshened, and, of course, spoiled with attention and play—whatever keeps those purrs going! 🐶I’ve also cared for small and medium-sized dogs, energetic puppies, and even a curious little ferret! Whether it’s a cuddle session, a walk around the block, or making sure meals and meds are on schedule, I’m here to keep tails wagging and paws happy. I work from home with a flexible schedule, which means I can accommodate multiple visits or walks throughout the day, depending on what works best for you and your pet’s routine. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. I’ll follow your instructions closely and treat your home with respect. Whether it’s feeding, walks, litter care, or playtime, I’ll make sure your pet feels comfortable and loved—and I’m always happy to share updates while you’re away!
“Great walker! She was very communicative and always send plenty of pictures and a great blurb about the walks. And my puppy loved her right from the start of the meet and greet. I have already gone ahead and rebooked her!”

About: Growing up I had ducks, goats, dogs, and the occasional stray cat to look after! I learned a lot during my youth when it came to taking care of animals of all different shapes and sizes. I have always been an animal lover and taking care of them brings me so much joy! I am currently a student at the Art Institute of Chicago. My schedule starting Aug. 25th will be more limited but for the time being I am completely available. Once my fall semester ends I will be available in the evenings, all day Monday, and throughout the weekend. I live in an apartment in Oak Park that has ample space for me and the three cats I live with. There should be no problem in housing an animal for a couple hours here and I have access to a back yard for potty breaks etc.
About: I've had a dog in my life ever since I was 5, and I've taken care of my friends pets for even longer! I've also walked four dogs at once, and I'm very proud of that. I'm doing a vocational program around 3 times a week! I have a lot of time to take care of animals. I can even do walks between sessions. I have the space for a dog or a cat who needs a temporary home for a few days in a pinch. They'll be welcomed into a quiet apartment that currently has no pets.
About: I’ve been a pet sitter for years I pet sit my family animals all the time and I love animals I would have 100 cats and 100 dogs if I could. I would care for every pet I pet sit as if she/he was my own I have a cat his name is Jasper and I call him my son so I know how people feel about there pets and I will treat them with nothing but respect and give them lots of love. And treats :)
About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a child! I’ve always gravitated towards the animals in the room and friends and family have always relied on me to help take care of their pets, especially for vacations! Now that I am a grad student, my pockets of time are much more flexible for people who need daytime walks and care for their fur babies! I’m also available on the weekends of course! I’m in school for Chinese medicine to be an acupuncturist and hope to do animal massage in my practice at some point! My specific time availability from Sept. 1st -December 1st: Monday\Tuesday evening check-ins and walks after 7, Wednesday check-ins and walks 2:30-3:15, can board because I have school at home - Thursday check-ins and walks between 3:15-5, I also have virtual school during the day. Friday: 12-5 I can Rover, house sit, check-in, walk, board. Saturday I have all day available and Sunday I am around as well. I can do my best to be as flexible as possible around school, especially if you’re close to me in oak park! I’m home during the day doing school work / virtual classes, so I have a lot of time to take walk breaks and play breaks. I’m an early riser and can accommodate for that too. And also around for the random “can you go check on” / “we’re going out to dinner can you do the evening walk” I’m here and flexible! - apartment complex is on a residential street in a suburban area, allows me to easily have access to green space including my apartment complex’s yard - my apartment is one level and has a porch

Austin dog parents share their Rover experiences
Robin was fantastic with our dogs. She’s patient, dependable, and clearly very experienced. I really appreciate the daily updates and photos she sends—it gives me peace of mind knowing our dogs are happy and well cared for. She’s flexible with scheduling and always goes the extra mile.

I booked Caroline for two weeks, and she was amazing. She communicated clearly every day, was incredibly kind and flexible, and handled my 70-pound, high-energy dog like a pro. He’s not easy to manage, but she never once complained. Just pure professionalism and kindness. It was such a relief knowing he was in great hands. Highly recommend!

Amanda was so kind and helpful with walking my 2 dogs while I was away. She was communicative and provided great feedback on how to help my dogs not pull on a leash. Amanda went above and beyond just walking and gave attention to our 3rd dog and refilled their water which was very helpful.

Cheryl is absolutely fantastic! We have two big dogs and one that doesn’t always warm up immediately and they loved her right away! She has a great natural energy and is very calm and confident with the pups! Our dogs aren’t always the easiest to walk when they’re hyper after a long day inside but she handled them amazingly well and they came back sleepy and happy! Would definitely recommend Cheryl to anybody looking for quality dog walkers/sitters! Thanks so much Cheryl!
