About: Hi, I’m a lifelong animal lover with many years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I’m 45 years old, and animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with cats starting when I was 9 years old, and over the years I’ve cared for cats as well as dogs of all sizes — from tiny 5 lb pups to large dogs over 150 lbs. About: I have experience taking care of dogs my whole life, as I have always had a dog in my home. I have trained, walked, and raised dogs of all ages, from being a puppy all the way up to senior dogs. In addition to my own dogs, I have experience taking care of friend's dogs, from just taking them on walks to overnight care. I have a full-time job in medtech that takes up my time during the week, but am available and flexible for weekends. Over the weekend, I am available for drop-ins as well as overnight care. I am able to commute to houses to take care of animals in-home and walk them as needed. About: I’ve taken care of my family dog since I was 15! I fully house trained her since she was a puppy and taught her all her tricks (the classic like sit, stay/come, speak, rollover). I have over 10 years experience with small dogs, and a few years of combined experience with larger dogs such as labs, pit-mixes, boxers, and even one giant Akita! I adopted a cat that I had the pleasure of caring for a few years- love snuggles or leaving her be when needed. I am a business owner and create my own schedule. I have experience and am capable in keeping large dogs apart when needed if you prefer your pup not interact with others while out and about. When working with ACPS, dogs are kept 10ft away from all other animals when outside the shelter. When working with reactive dogs, I do my best to take walking during less busy times around the neighborhood. My precious cat did not enjoy dogs as much as I do, so I know how to keep a calm house when everyone may not be so friendly!
