puguF0 I’ve had dogs my entire life (malteses, dobermans, huskies, puppies, seniors, etc.), and they truly are the light of my life :) Caring for them has always come naturally to me, and I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I joined Rover because I work from home and have the flexibility to take multiple long walks throughout the day. I’d love to use that time to give your dog extra attention, exercise, and care when you’re not able to. Whether your dog needs a high-energy walk or a slower, more relaxed pace, I’m happy to tailor each walk to their needs. My goal is to make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and well cared for every time we’re together. Because I flexibly work from home, pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. puguF0 I have been fortunate enough to have cared for both a cat and a dog through long and full lives; playing with them and giving attention in their younger, more robust years, and nurturing them during their elderly stage. Aside from that, I have cared for plenty of neighborhood pets throughout my life, ranging from simply taking a puppy for a walk or staying overnight and administering medication. I currently have a dog who is full of life and demanding of attention, which I am conditioned (and happy) to provide. I have a seasonal job allowing me the opportunity to work summers in various states at different National Parks. During the off time, I get some time to spend with my family and hopefully meet some new furry friends! While I am between jobs, I have wide open availability and endless time to share with your fur children. I love my own pets with my whole heart, and imagine you do as well! I take the responsibility of caring for your animals with incredible seriousness and sincerity, and that means making sure not to leave any doors or gates open or leave anything out that they can get into. If there are any other procedures you typically do as an extra step to keeping your dog safe, I am happy to do the same while they are in my car.

I’m available for morning, midday, and evening walks or drop-ins, and I’m able to give pets consistent attention and timely visits. For drop-ins and walks, I focus on keeping pets comfortable and maintaining their normal routine. During visits, I provide fresh food and water, bathroom breaks, exercise, and playtime based on each pet’s needs. I also make sure litter boxes are clean for cats and that the home is left exactly as I found it. I provide photo updates and quick notes after each visit so you know your pet is safe and doing well.

puguF0 I’ve been around animals from the time that I was born. From squirrels, mice, dogs, cats, horses, I’ve been around it all! I have experience in fostering dogs with serious illnesses and special needs. Our own dog, Lily, became special needs as she got older. I administered medicine, medical baths, grooming, and basic first aid. Another one of my dogs, Morgana, came to us with severe cherry eye, infections in both ears, an infected spay scar, and alopecia. With this experience, I learned two things. How to care for these special dogs, and how much they can do for us. I also volunteer at the Northeast Wildlife Coalition, where I’ve had the opportunity to work with an assortment of sick wild animals. Because of this, I now know how to give proper first aid to animals. In addition, I’ve had the opportunity to train both my and family friends’ puppies! I’ve also worked with a service dog trainer who’s given me some valuable information! But above all, I really enjoy the company of all animals (especially dogs!) And would love to talk with you about how I can help you care for your fur-babies! I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible! It's rare that I'll have to leave the house for work! I also usually get an advanced notice if I have to leave! No matter where I am, I always offer loving and safe environment! As I've said before, I try to keep as close to the owners routine as humanly possible! I find that this reduces and added stress or anxiety with having a new person be in their home!

I provide attentive, loving care in a calm home environment where dogs can feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed while you’re away. To help keep my home clean and comfortable for everyone, I ask that dogs be house-trained before booking. I completely understand that accidents can happen, especially in new places. Pups still learning potty habits are okay as long as they’re comfortable being crated when unsupervised. I also kindly ask that dogs arrive clean and free of strong odors at drop-off so I can maintain a fresh and comfortable environment for all pets. Meet-and-greets are encouraged for first-time bookings to ensure it’s a great fit for everyone.

I currently work from home and I am not glued to a desk which also me to take good care of my dog and others. My home at the beach is big enough of for any sized dog and plenty of room in the backyard for dogs to run around.
