“Elaine is amazing with our Coco! We are so thrilled to have found her. She goes above and beyond on rainy days with our girl making sure her paws are clean when she comes inside. And that she has her rain coat on.”

About: Hi, I’m a lifelong animal lover with many years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I’m 45 years old, and animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with cats starting when I was 9 years old, and over the years I’ve cared for cats as well as dogs of all sizes — from tiny 5 lb pups to large dogs over 150 lbs. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, comfort level, and needs. Whether your pet is playful and energetic, shy and nervous, senior and slow-moving, or just loves attention and cuddles, I will treat them with patience, kindness, and respect. I have experience with both small and large dogs, multiple-pet households, and cats with different temperaments. I know how important it is to feel confident that your pet is safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. My goal is to give your pets the same care and attention I would want for my own. I’m dependable, caring, and comfortable following your instructions closely, including feeding routines, walks, litter box care, playtime, medication reminders if needed, and giving updates so you know your pets are doing well. My schedule allows me to make pet care a priority, and I’m dependable about following each pet’s normal routine. I understand how important consistency is, so I do my best to keep pets comfortable, safe, and cared for while their owners are away. I care for pets by making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while keeping their normal routine as close as possible. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully for feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, walks, playtime, litter box care, and any special needs. In a client’s home, I respect their space and make sure their pets are cared for in the environment they already know. I give dogs and cats attention based on their personality, whether they need active play, gentle care, cuddles, or quiet companionship. Because I have experience with cats and dogs of all sizes, from 5 lb dogs to dogs over 150 lbs, I’m comfortable adjusting my care to fit each pet. I treat every pet like family and do my best to make sure they are happy, safe, and well cared for while their owner is away.
About: I first started watching pets when I was about 8 years old with our first house cat. Since then, I have watched all kinds of animals such as dogs, cats, hamsters, bunnies, and fish. I have watched a variety of dogs, from young to old. I have experience with elder dogs and cats, as I had to watch over my sister’s elder dog and give her the medicine she needed. I have also watched young dogs and cats and have experience of how to care for them and give them the attention they need. All of high school, I volunteered at an animal shelter for cats, where I would spend my days caring for and spending time with kittens and cats of all ages and behaviors. I have lots of experience with all ages of animals and love spending my time making sure the fur babies are happy and comfortable! I just graduated from college living at home for the time being, so my schedule is extremely open! I currently have no more classes to take and do not start my full time job until July, so I am looking to help out whenever! When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, their safety and comfort are my top priorities. I follow all instructions exactly as provided, including feeding schedules, routines, and any special care needs. I make sure doors are securely locked, gates are closed, and the home stays safe and tidy while you’re away. I’m respectful of your space and treat your home with the same care I would my own. I always keep a close eye on the pets I’m watching, give regular check-ins and updates, and make sure they feel calm, comfortable, and well-loved in their familiar environment. My goal is for you to feel confident that your pets, and your home, are in reliable hands.
“Sharon was great! This was our first time using Rover and I was a bit nervous, but she was so communicative and took good care of our pup while we traveled. We’ll definitely use Rover and request her again.”

“Heather rocks!!! Definitely one of the best walkers. I am so honored to have come across her profile. Her kind personality and friendly attitude towards our fur babies made us realize that they were in good hands. Looking forward to working more with her in the future!”

About: Looking for a place where your dog will be cared for like family while you're away? You've found it! We provide home-based dog boarding in a calm, secure, and loving environment—where tails wag, routines are respected, and your pup gets the attention they deserve, 24/7. We're a husband-and-wife team living in a quiet gated community, with plenty of space, supervision, and love to give. 👨👩👧👦 About Us Hi! We’re Q and Eric, and we run our dog boarding business right from our home. With a friendly 7-year-old corgi named Stitch and a sweet, curious 1-year-old toddler, our house is full of life, love, and laughter. We only take a small number of dogs at a time, so every pup gets personalized care and plenty of one-on-one attention. Eric works from home full-time, so there’s always an adult present with the dogs—no crates, no long hours alone, just round-the-clock care and company. I am a nurse who works every other weekend. During the week, I’m home and hands-on, helping with feeding, routines, special care, and keeping you updated with adorable pics and videos. Our corgi is calm, well-socialized, and used to sharing his space—he’s the perfect host dog for helping new pups settle in. 🐶 What We Offer: 24/7 supervision—your dog is never left alone Boarding in a quiet gated community with safe, enclosed spaces Only a few dogs at a time for low-stress, personalized care Comfortable, dog-friendly home with room to roam Daily routines including walks, playtime, nap breaks, and cuddles Special attention for senior dogs, medications, or unique needs Real-time photo and video updates A family environment with gentle toddler socialization (only if your dog is toddler-friendly!) Whether your pup loves to play, lounge, or snuggle—we'll match their energy and make them feel right at home. Dogs that stay with us are let out in our fenced backyard every 2-4 hours a day, with daily walks 2-3x a day. And of course unlimited belly rubs! We have a fenced backyard the fur-babies can roam around in. We send daily updates to you whether it be photos or videos multiple times a day. Everyone will be under strict supervision—even the human child!
“Sherri is a star! She takes great care of Whitby when we are away. She is responsible, a great communicator and will adore your dog like they were her own!”

About: We are a family of 3 people who really want to add a dog as a family member but unable to take on the financial responsibility at this time so this might be the next best thing, just genuine love for your pets, no special skills at this time. Currently work from home and have the ability to be very present with your dog. My 2 children have been reminding me that I promised them a dog by the time my son turns 10 and my daughter is 8. I'm just not ready to find my forever dog yet- My son is now 11 and daughter is ready to turn 9 right after Christmas and we have loved having your dogs as a part of our family while you're away! In my home, treating them like our own part of the family. We are a playful family and we like getting out of the house on walks and do things like Riverside Arts Market and the beach. In your home, will follow your guidelines and be just as loving and attentive
About: Hi! I’m Amanda, and I’ve been caring for animals most of my life—from chickens and horses to gerbils and rabbits. After moving away from “farm” life, I began fostering dogs while they waited for their forever homes (including a Great Dane!). Now I’m happily settled with a senior chihuahua rescue of my own. I’m located in the Beach Haven area near Mayo Clinic and am happy to travel within the Jacksonville area to provide great care for your pups. I work as an EMT, so I’m calm under pressure, highly attentive, and confident administering medications and noticing changes in behavior. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities, and I bring patience, reliability, and lots of love to every visit. I’ll care for your pup just like you would, so you can relax knowing they’re in great hands. Use promo code AMANDN11 to get $20 off your first booking after you sign up! I work a shift-based schedule, so I usually have extra daytime availability for walks and drop-ins. On days I’m not working, most of the time my availability is wide open! I like to stick closely to each pet’s routine so they feel safe and comfy 😊 During drop-ins, I handle potty breaks, water, meals or medications if needed, and of course lots of attention. I treat your home with care, double-check doors and gates, and always make sure your pet is happy before I leave.
“I’m so happy Stella accepted. She was great with my dog and she walked her further than anyone has on this app which I really appreciate because she is a very athletic and active dog. I’ll continue to use Stella!”

“Savannah was an excellent dog walker for our 2 very high energy dogs. She was on time and left pics and messages every day. We appreciate how well she took care of them.”

About: I pay a lot of attention to detail, especially in routine, and what to give a person for his or hers specific needs! Also want as much information as possible to make sure your fur baby is comfortable! I’ve worked with puppies/kittens all the way up to senior animals! I do not work full work days (Only about six hours a day and only on the weekdays) I’m home every night and all weekend. My Home is set up as pet safe for any fur baby! I have transportation means to transport any fur baby, for dogs if you sign up for a longer walk I can make a trip to the dog park if you would like! (no additional cost and no restrictions) I have a camera to check up on all fur babies and I’m able to go home if anything is needed! I have my own dog, she is crate trained and leash trained (I have a spare room (basically a pet fun room) in my house so if it’s necessary any animals can be kept separate). I am in an apartment but I always make some car trips to the dog park about 4/5 days a week (and if requested for no additional cost) I also go on constant walks around the neighborhood every 3ish hours (besides when I work/sleep)
“I don’t have an easy dog, and Derek cared for him so well! He was very responsive, shared lots of pictures, and was helped create a calming atmosphere for my dog. I would definitely hire him again!”

Holiday Harbors dog parents share their Rover experiences
Addie truly is exceptional! She’s always dependable, professional, caring, and so good with my dogs. Today, one of the dogs had an accident in the house before her arrival time, and Addie graciously cleaned it up for me. She always goes above and beyond! Absolutely recommend her!!

Nate is very professional, and very pleasant to work with. From the video and photos that he sent me I could see he and my pup got along well. It was very cold outside, but Nate was still ready and willing to take my pup out. I had a wonderful experience with him in. He will be my number one walker.

I highly recommend Nicole! She dog sat and walked my boy Pippin, and she was absolutely amazing. She’s incredibly trustworthy, kind, and has such a great personality. She was very attentive, and it was clear Pippin loved her right away. Knowing my dog was in such good hands gave me total peace of mind. I’ll definitely be using Nicole again, she’s truly wonderful!
