Hi there! My name is Amber. I’ve been dog and cat sitting for some time now for several families, and the number keeps growing. I care for every pet as if they were my own. I have a seven yo Golden Retriever named Astro! If you ever get the chance to meet him, you’ll understand why people trust me with their fur babies—he’s pure joy, happiness, and love. There’s nothing particularly special about my pet care experience or skills—I just genuinely love taking care of animals. I promise to care for your pets the same way you would.

Safety, trust & environment
I can easily crate your dog if needed and will keep them on a leash at all times for safety during walks or visits. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I prioritize creating a calm, secure environment, sticking to their usual routine as closely as possible. I always follow any instructions provided regarding feeding, exercise, medication, or behavior management to ensure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well-cared for.

Amber is a phenomenal dog mom to her golden retriever, Astro! Amber is also a teacher and knows how to keep students in line while having a great time teaching algebra. You can trust her with your fur babies, I cannot recommend her enough!!
Amber is an extremely trustworthy and dependable person. Her fun and bubbly personality translates in the way she treats your pet. She has watched my Great Pyrenees multiple times over the years I’ve known her. I’ve also had the pleasure to watch her take care of her own dog that is one of the most well taken care of pets I’ve ever met. You can count on her to treat your pet how she treats her own and they will be very happy!
I adopted Lexi and needed a special person to walk her a couple times a week. Lexi is timid and shy and gets nervous meeting new people she doesn’t know. Lexi met Amber and she made her feel very comfortable. So we started off a couple of times and week and now we are up to three times a week. Amber has a special touch and I recommend her for all your pet needs.

Schedule
During summer break, I have a very flexible schedule, so I’m able to dedicate ample time throughout the day to feeding, walking, and playing with pets, as well as handling any special needs. Once the school year begins, I am available as early as 2:30 PM on weekdays, which still allows plenty of time in the afternoon and evening for pet care responsibilities. I’m also available on weekends. I’m organized, reliable, and accustomed to balancing a structured workday with other responsibilities, so I ensure that pet care remains a priority year-round.
