About: I have taken care of and trained my own dog and friends and family's animals for almost 2 decades. My husband and I are very active with our dogs so your pet is sure to do fun things with us and get plenty of exercise! Pet care is already a part of my daily routine because my husband and I have 2 dogs. Our aussie loves to fetch so we play in our large backyard everyday, and our mix loves walks and to run next to us as we bike! We have a large fenced in yard that our dogs love. They receive daily exercise including fetch, walks, running next to us as we bike, and going to the beach or pool to swim. I have worked with animals in multiple capacities for over 20 years, including working as a vet tech, fostering cats and dogs, volunteering at an animal shelter and doing an internship with a vet. I believe all pets deserve to be pampered with walks, love, cuddles, and treats! Your pet will be treated like family while in my care. I am fully insured on top of the Rover guarantee, I have pet cpr and first aid training and I am continuously taking trainings on animal care and behavior. This is not only my profession, it is my passion. I do pet sitting full time so I am home most of the day. If I go out it's rarely for more than 3 hours. Your animals are my number 1 priority and they will receive lots of attention. I treat all my clients like family. We lounge on the couch or we go fir walks or olay with toys. Whatever your animal wants to do, we will do. When I come to your home I will ensure everything is locked when I leave and I can rotate lights and bring in mail so it doesn't look like you are out of town. I will follow your schedule for your animals and make sure they stay safe while you are away. I have experience with medical needs such as needing oral or injectable medication, including insulin. I can handle special needs such as mobility issues, vision problems and more and I have experience owning and caring for geriatric dogs. I do require meet and greets so please ensure you book with enough advance notice that we can set one up.
