About: Boarding: Dogs must be crate trained and vaccinations up to date. Must be kid friendly and do well with large dogs. I have a large, shaded back yard where we can play with toys or fetch. Walk around the quiet neighborhood or take a nap and cuddle. I have an active golden doodle who can’t wait to have a play buddy. I will happily take your dog on walks, play their favorite game and keep a structured routine if needed. Administer topical, injection or oral meds. Meet and greets preferred prior to care. I am currently working from home and have a large shaded yard. Which means potty breaks and outside play and relax time are always available. I will make sure your pets schedule is followed so you can be sure your pet will have fun and be cared for while you are away. My home is doggie safe. Minimalistic feel with little to no clutter. Space for your dog to stretch out and relax. Separate room with crate for sleep and/or alone time if needed. If I leave the house crate trained dogs can safely stay in crate with water and food. Feedings can be done separate if needed. Please bring leash, water and food bowl, and favorite treats. Do not bring toys because they will be enjoyed and destroyed by my dog.

About: For 17 years I have been taking care of dogs (really animals of all kinds, shapes, and sizes) both of my own and for others too. There has never been a point in my life that I have not had a dog. Right before I was born, my parents got a beagle that I grew up with. I started taking care of her at a young age (I’d say even later than 17 years ago, just not notable enough to count for it) when she needed special baths for her skin condition, treatments for her ear infections, and catering to her broken arm after getting run over by a car. Before she passed, we got a husky. I helped train (on and off leash commands), groom, trim his nails, and learned how to speak husky. He was a very loved hand full. I learned so much from him because of all the trouble he made from running away, eating glue, chewing up the entire house… you name it, he did it. Through these lessons I have learned not only how to retain my patience and grace, but also how to be a beacon of support and reservoir of love for all fur babies. Nevertheless, when he got older, I gave him shots for his hip dysplasia and ensured he was most comfortable until the day my sister and I sat in the room with him on his way up to doggy heaven. Today, I have a great pyrenees who is a bundle of joy. Again, I have trained her, happily cater to her persistent anxiety--especially with thunderstorms--ensure she is exercised, groomed, and feeling loved. Currently I am working part-time and most of this is at home doing online research for school. Pet care is my daily routine anyways and I have a partner who often stays home to take care of our pup. He certainly supports me needing to fill my cup with more love in my heart from interacting with animals. Nevertheless, I love to help people out. I find that having a good, stable community is the most precious thing we can have as people. It takes a village and I am happy to be apart of that village. I am happy to make any accommodations possible to help you and your fur baby feel the most comfortable with my care. About: I’ve cared for dogs, cats and even horses since childhood. Friends, family and neighbors have entrusted me with their fur babies, a privilege which I take very seriously. I enjoy spending time with all animals, whether that be playing, walking, bathing, feeding, or afternoon napping. I work full time Monday through Friday, and have the option to work from home on a weekday if needed. I am available for boarding Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and for all other services Monday through Friday after 5:00pm and all day Saturday and Sunday. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life. I am very patient and loving. I know everyone might say that, but I really do love animals 🥰 I have my dog Kota who’s been my best friend for 10 years now, he’s super sweet and friendly with other animals. I have a huge backyard with a pool where your furry friend can run and swim. I also work from home so they will always have someone there. I work from home so my schedule is pretty flexible. My mornings start off with feeding my animals and going for a morning walk with the dogs. During my lunch hour that’s when I let the dogs outside to run around and swim for an hour, and then again once my work day is done. We also take potty breaks in between. When my friends and family leave their dogs with me I follow the same schedule and make sure the dogs get plenty of exercise, tired dogs are happy dogs :) since I’m home all day me and Kota can provide companionship all day long for your furry kid :) I live in a house with a huge fenced in yard and a pool. Dogs are allowed on the furniture. I’m always around to make sure that they’re not eating things they’re not supposed to.

“I just moved back to Jax and needed to find a new pet sitter for my toy poodle. I was scheduled to be out of town for 4 days and I had anxiety about leaving him with someone he was unfamiliar with for that amount of time. I downloaded the Rover app and Layda literally fell into my lap. Her reviews were great and her availability was open. I reached out and she was immediately responsive. She offered to give me a call to walk me through how the app works and we talked in depth about my dog. She asked all kinds of questions and gave super helpful suggestions. Before I completed my booking, I asked if we could do a meet & greet so that her and Jinger could meet and she happily agreed. They hit it off perfectly. 2 days later I dropped Jinger for his extended vacay and I could tell my baby had the time of his life. Layda sent pictures and videos multiple times throughout the day and she was always responsive when I checked in. She allowed him to be comfortable and feel at home and I really appreciated that. Based on my first (of many more to come) booking, I can tell that Layda truly cares about what she does and thats a great feeling as a pet mom.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats my whole life. I’m a great balance between active and just keeping company - from puppies/kittens to senior pets I work weekday mornings but am free after 1pm daily and all day Wednesday and Sunday — plenty of time for walks, drop-ins, overnight care, or just hanging out with pets. I live in a pet-free apartment in a safe, walkable neighborhood with access to a nearby dog park. I share the space with a pet-loving roommate, and we both enjoy spending time with animals. Whether in my home or yours, I focus on keeping pets comfortable, relaxed, and cared for with lots of attention and companionship.
