About: My name is Crystal and i’m a full time second year college student majoring in Biology who loves all kinds of fur babies! About: I have been a veterinary technician for a long time! I have recently changed careers and have been a student again. I miss being around fur babies and I would love to have the opportunity to do it again! I started my career with animals in a shelter and moved into the veterinary field. I have had too many foster animals of all types to even count! About: I volunteer at my local animal shelter and I am great with both dogs and cats. I grew up with my cat, Hepsiba, born before me who died when I was nearly 20 years of age. We were best friends before I knew what that was. Then at the age of 12 or so, my parents adopted 2 English cocker spaniels, brother and sister. Robbie and Flora. So I was taking care of three pets. Then I raised Bruce, a rescued black lab mix from August 2013 until 2025 with some breaks for the US Army. And I taught him very well; he passed in June 2025 but he will always be my companion at my side. For some time I carried him, 120 lbs, up and down flights of stairs. Sometimes from here to there, carefully, comfortably, gingerly. I’ve taken care of pets for family members and friends. And did so professionally in the past prior to Rover, after friends got me into it. I’m great with animals. After spending even just a short time with them we can often establish a connection or rapport, especially when training a younger pet (or caring for an older dog). I enjoy taking dogs for long walks, I could run with your dog, play with them, but mostly we’ll be doing what they want - within reason. If it could be all I did, all the time - I think that I would like that just fine. I’ll need a heads up at first to secure prep, but after that I could spend virtually all of my time with your companions - needing only to stop momentarily for supplies. Generally, boarding an animal at my own home is a much bigger ask, if it’s to be overnight. But then it’s fairly simple. Massasoit State Park is half a mile from my house and offers a great destination - all the dogs I’ve taken care of and brought there have loved it. At a home that the pet is used to is really a non-issue, (it helps if the owner is there when I meet the companion in question). Overnight and for extended lengths, though - it would only be a matter of making sure I’d have what I’d need for the length of time, so I would need just a little prep time.

About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life and truly love having them around. I do tend to spoil them, but I always follow the instructions you, the parent, provide. I have had senior dogs and puppies and always give them the extra care they need. We are a retired couple and always enjoy having a dog around us. We have plenty of time to play with pups, and give them lots of love. We have a fenced in backyard to play in, comfortable beds to sleep in. We won’t be taken in other family's dogs while yours is here.

About: I love dogs to my very core! My best friend in the whole world is my little chihuahua/min-pin mix. I love running around in the yard and having a hiking buddy. I can't get enough of their cute little faces and enjoying playing with a fuzzy friend! I'm a Wildlife and Conservation Biology student at the University of Rhode Island, and during the summer, I intern at a turtle rescue and rehabilitation center in Rhode Island. I have a deep love for animals of all kinds, and I miss my furry friends when I'm away at school. About: I am a current college student home for the summer who loves and understands how to take care of any type of dog. As a current owner of a boxer and a pitbull, as well as owning multiple boxers over the years, I know how to walk and take care of dogs big and small. I have been walking the pitbull around my neighborhood since we got him, and he can be a handful, but my family loves him all the same. My boxer, unfortunately, has a heart condition where the vet advised against walking him. We have owned both male and female boxers who are great around other pets. I will care for any of your pets needs, and will make your pet happy and entertained when sitting.

About: i have always loved all animals, especially dogs,I used to take care of my mom's friends dogs growing up, gotten used too the routine of dog sitting/watching, aswell as working with my own dog In terms of pottytraining. I am currently going into my freshman year of college and looking for a job on the weekends or even weekdays, my schedule is pretty flexible although I do have a part time job so I would need to know at least a day in advance for scheduling I would make sure the dog has food/ is getting fed, the dog is getting let out aswell as walked and played with. I would be consistant with timing if the dog is being fed and making sure the dog is in eyesight at all times.
