Given that this was her first night away from me in RI, Devorat went above and beyond to ensure that both Pepper and I were comfortable with her space by arranging a meeting prior to the booking. About: I have worked in a multi-faced canine training facility as a kennel attendant for a year and have been dog walking since I was 16. I work part time as a pet caretaker and walk my own dog on most of my spare time. Dog walking would be before or after work, I am available daily for walks or visits with your dog. About: I’ve been around pets since childhood - having 2 cats, hamsters, birds and fish. I am a dog mom to a 15 year old beagle and 12 year old pittie mix both of who I adopted when they were 3 years and the other 9 months old. I walked and was also a house visitor for neighbors dogs all throughout middle school. Wherever I was there was a high possibility I was hanging out with someone’s dog. When I was in my early teens I started pet sitting, and once I was 18 I began working on local horse farms; mucking stalls, and learning as much as I could along the way. About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

About: I’ve taken care of pets for as long as I can remember whether it was my family dog when I was little or pet sitting/ walking for my family, friends, and neighbors. I am good at being aware of my surroundings and keeping up with different levels of activity for each pet. He came prepared for the walks as well, with his own backup harness to handle two dogs at the same time. I also have past experience owning larger and more demanding breeds, including Rottweilers, an English Bulldog, and a Black Russian Terrier, giving me a strong understanding of breed-specific behaviors and needs. About: Growing up I’ve always had a dog in the house. I’ve always looked up ways to train my dogs and teach them tricks. I’d watch dog whisper shows to learn more about dogs and how to connect with them. I’m very passionate about giving my best care and love to all beings. I have a dog of my own right now that I treat like a child. She’s practically a puppy and I taught her so much within just a year of having her. I had my previous dog for 7 years and taught her so many things. I look forward to treating other dogs the same way. I have great customer service skills as well as being very optimistic and aware of my surroundings. I give my best work and never leave a project unfinished. I’m in between jobs at the moments so I’m open as of right now. I like mid mornings and afternoons. I have a dog of my own so knowing ahead of time helps prepare my day for her. I crate trained my old and new dog. I’m still teaching my dog who has an eating disorder how to free range the house without supervision. She’s still learning so I have to keep her on a leash so she doesn’t get into things she can’t eat. I keep toxic things out of reach.
About: I've taken care of many dogs since a very young age. I also have my own dog that loves company. I have a large fenced-in backyard for your dogs to play. I also love taking the dogs for walks! I work from home, and I'm able to spend lots of time with your pet and send you pictures and video updates. I currently work from home so I have lots of time thru out the day. I'm available 7 days a week to care for your pet. I have a large fenced-in backyard and a friendly puppy to keep your pet company. My house is in a very nice neighborhood , and hiking trails are close by for dog walks.

“Devorat is a god send! Pepper and I are new to RI, therefore leaving her to spend the night with a new sitter made me uneasy. Given that this was her first night away from me in RI, Devorat went above and beyond to ensure that both Pepper and I were comfortable with her space by arranging a meeting prior to the booking. Devorat has a large space that includes an enclosed yard for active dogs. That is on top of the dog walks they did together. I appreciated that, as did Pepper. Devorat sent check-ins in the form of photos and videos letting me enjoy my mini vacation with ease. I can’t wait to book with Devorat again soon. Highly recommend!!”
