About: I once fostered a very cute polydatcyl cat named Cleo and enjoyed every moment of having a fur friend around. I did not mind at all the responsibilities involved in her care and wellbeing. It only lasted for a year but I am sure Cleo remembers/misses me as much as I miss her. I respect all forms of life and I aspire to gain trust and experience in my community. I currently have full time availability. I do have extensive professional background working in leadership roles so I am very responsible and have always prioritized humanity over production. I also enjoy cooking in my free time. While in a client's home, I am very observant of hazards and potential causes for problems. My time will be spent fully attentative to the unique care instructions left by the pets family and also will remain acutely aware of the pets wellbeing for the entire duration of my stay. I have foundational knowledge in cat and dog behavior as well as an understanding of appropriate first aid if ever needed.

About: I’ve had my own dog for 15 years now. I have done favors for many friends/family/neighbors of mine helping them with their animal while away. I can go on daily walks with your dog. Weekends are my ideal availability, but I can accommodate through the week if necessary, even if it’s just to check in to make sure they have food and water. I have a fenced backyard for my older dog. We do go on walks daily when cognitively he is able too. I can crate the dog if necessary. I give baths monthly and always make sure to have treats for him. I now have a female pitbull, she’s a good girl. We walk daily, she gets monthly bullymake boxes since she loves to chew through toys. She gets lots of treats

I know from prior experience that some pets are not fans of each other or people and have a difficult time regulating their own emotions unless they’re are familiar with a specific environment or trigger. Some have the tendency to shy away and lean more towards the comfort of having someone who will help them feel safe and calm when around them. This is my specialty. About: Hey everyone! My name is Holbert. I’ve grown up around dogs of all sizes, from Yorkies and Shih Tzus to Saint Bernards, and I’m just as happy spending time with cats too. I’m a law student, but outside of school I really enjoy being around animals, getting to know their personalities, and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I’m also very respectful of your home and your pet’s routine, so you can feel comfortable knowing they’re in good hands 😊 My schedule is pretty structured during the week, with work on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 to 5 and classes on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 to 4. Fridays through the weekend, though, I have much more flexibility and can really dedicate my time to walks, drop ins, playtime, and hanging out with your pets. I also do my best to work pet care around my weekday schedule whenever possible, so your pet still gets the attention and consistency they need. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I try to keep things as comfortable and familiar for them as possible. I follow, feeding schedules, walking routines, house, rules, and any special instructions you leave for me, also making sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. I’m patient with pets who need a little extra time to warm up, and I always pay attention to their personality and comfort level. In a client‘s home, I’m also very respectful of the space. I will always leave things clean and cared for, just as I found them, if not better.

Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
