I made my brother’s wedding, and didn’t have to worry about my dog and his accommodations (dogs weren’t showered unfortunately) because I was so grateful for and confident in the care being provided by Ms. Rita. About: I have hands-on experience with senior dogs, including changing diapers and cleaning up after them. I’m comfortable with all aspects of pet care, whether it’s running with your dog on a sunny day or taking them out for a fun picnic in the park. I enjoy being outdoors and exploring dog parks or just strolling through Central Park, ensuring your dog gets plenty of exercise and fresh air. I’ll treat your pet with the same love and care as I do my own! I’m an early riser, usually up around 6 AM. I like to start my mornings calmly—getting ready for the day, taking a quick walk, and setting myself up with good energy. Because of that, morning drop-ins or walks fit naturally into my routine. When caring for pets in my home or in my client’s home, I make sure they get the attention they need. For senior dogs, I prefer to stay with them as much as I can to make sure they’re comfortable and not left alone for long stretches. I believe dogs, especially seniors, need regular breaks to stretch their legs and get some fresh air, so I’ll make sure they have that at least four times a day. In my home, I also have a friendly dog who gets along well with others, but I can always separate them if needed for peace of mind. I also have an extra bed for your pet if they need their own space, and I’m happy to offer additional services like showering your dog with your preferred shampoo if that’s something you’d like.

I currently have a Bassett hound/springer spaniel mix named Moody Blues, but enjoy dogs of all sizes and even the sassiest cats! I usually only care for one (and no more than three) visiting dogs at a time, in addition to my own friendly resident pups, so each guest gets plenty of individualized attention. I remove toys during group play to prevent guarding issues and ensure calm, respectful interactions. Dogs are walked three times a day and also have supervised leashed or tethered access to my private yard for fresh air, sniffing, and sunshine. When the weather is nice, we love lounging on the porch or stretching out on a blanket in the grass together.
