“Joseph was great! I was a little nervous to leave my girl but Joseph had a few other dogs for the night and so she got a great play date out of it! Very responsive and shared lots of great videos and photos throughout the night so I knew she was ok!”

About: I got my first dog when I was 18 years old. She was the sweetest pup I have ever met! Since then dogs have become an irreplaceable part of my life. I have cared for puppies, senior dogs & few dogs with behavioral needs. I have fostered dogs through the years and learnt how meaningful this experience can be. My last foster was a young adult who was a year old. Open to pets all day subjected to advance notice/short notice. I'm mostly home so I can be flexible with your routine and needs. A small heads up is always appreciated. I live in an apartment complex which is 5 mins away from 2 dog parks. I'll take your dog for daily exercise and morning, afternoon and evening. I live in a neighborhood which has lots of space to walk for regular/short walks. I have a 7 year old mild tempered female dog who will provide excellent care and comfort while you are away. I can easily crate your dog if needed, I have a large crate.
“I can not say enough about how wonderful Cecilia was in taking care of my 2 Aussie pups. We were in town for 2 days visiting friends and having her and her husband to take care of our children allowed us to relax and enjoy our stay. She even offered to keep them till 8pm and deliver them to us. Both our babies us came home happy and exhausted. Cecilia is so passionate about caring for furbabies. I especially loved how she could read their body language and make quick adjustments to how she introduced them to her home. You could tell that their comfort level was more important than just moving from point A to point B. Thank you Cecilia for being you!”

“Olivia is a sweet heart. My dog Suki is always excited when she gets dropped off and even more excited once she sees Olivia. I would definitely recommend her to family and friends.”

“We booked Shanisa last minute to watch our two dogs, and we couldn’t have been more thrilled. We had a meet-and-greet before, and she was clearly very kind and engaged with the dogs. She had an array of toys and harnesses and came extremely prepared. She sent us video and photo updates to put us at ease. Our dogs had a blast, and we just wish she was in every city we visited!”

This is currently my main job, so ensuring my flexibility for you is priority! I look forward to working with you to make sure your pets are cared for. I love to visit and take care of friends! For dogs, we can walk, play at home, I can bring Moody Blues if your dog would enjoy visits, and I’m happy to take care of any cleanups or feedings as well. For my cat friends, I’m happy to take care of the same things, with offers of cuddles and lap time in place of the walks for the indoor kitties.

About: I have extensive experience caring for animals with diverse needs, including 5 years fostering over 40 cats (pregnant mothers, bottle-fed kittens, and administering medication to sick cats). This background means I am patient, highly attuned to subtle behavioral cues, and comfortable handling animals of all temperaments—from timid and anxious to energetic and friendly. I grew up around dogs, from small family pets to large farm working dogs, giving me a solid foundation in canine behavior. I'm currently not working due to a skin hives. That leaves me lots of time and flexibility to work with various type of schedule and needs When pets are welcomed into my home for Boarding, my priority is their comfort, safety, and routine. 1. Before Arrival: We'll have a detailed Meet & Greet to discuss your pet's exact routine, feeding schedule, bathroom habits, and any medical needs or known triggers. I'll also confirm all required documents (vaccines, emergency contacts). 2. Safety & Integration: Dogs are always supervised, and I ensure a safe, structured environment. If multiple dogs are boarding, initial introductions are carefully managed. Cats will have a safe, separate decompression room if needed, to help them adjust quietly before exploring. 3. Maintaining Routine: I strictly adhere to your pet's schedule (feeding times, medication, walks). For dogs, this includes regular exercise, potty breaks, and playtime. For cats, this includes scheduled feeding, litter box cleaning (multiple times daily), and dedicated playtime/cuddle sessions based on their preference. 4. Communication: You will receive daily updates, photos, and videos so you can see how much fun and how relaxed your pet is while you are away!
“Lauren is very flexible and understanding and really great with Chai! Great with updates and giving Chai lots of opportunities to potty and exercise. Chai also gets along great with Lauren’s own pups!”

“Amy and Cathy were very good with my old man Sidney, who is a sort of anxious beagle mix. They indulged me with a second meet and greet before his first stay. Apparently he didn't miss me as much as I thought he would! He did well and we will definitely be going back. Thanks so much!”
“This was my first time getting a sitter, Elizabeth truly took care of my dog like it was her own. It made me feel at ease to have someone like that watch over him and I didn't need to keep messaging or feel anxious. She truly loves dogs and I 100 percent recommend her to anyone with a dog that needs a place to feel loved and cared for even for a short or long while. She also gave me tips on how to administer meds for my pup! It was extremely helpful! She was a wonderful experience for my pup and for me as an owner!”

“Samantha really helped me out. I had to make a last minute trip to Delaware and she was kind enough to take Stefano in for several hours. Looks like Stefano had a great time. I would highly recommend Samantha and would definitively call on her, with proper notice, again in the future.”

About: I have had dogs in my family for as long as I can remember! I have dog sat multiple times including having dogs in my own home & going to others home! I work full time but I do have 2 dogs of my own who can go about 6 hours between bathroom breaks. If that is something your dog is able to do, we will be the perfect match for a week day! I am available most weekends and am able to offer bathrooms breaks as often as needed on weekends! I have 2 dogs of my own who are extremely friendly towards other dogs! We have a large yard & I take my own dogs on multiple walks a day, which is something that can be done for your dog as well!
Westover Hills dog parents share their Rover experiences
Jenning is amazing! From the time I reached out she was responsive and quickly accepted my request for last minute daycare. She was so patient and kind when we arrived and took my pup out on a walk right after I left and sent a photo of him within the first 30 minutes. I think I had more seperation anxiety thamy dog. When I checked in she responded promptly, assured me he was doing great, and shared pictures from their afternoon hike. I will definitely reach out to her again and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone to take excellent care of your fur baby!

Anna is amazing! The test of whether my dog is well is taken care of is how he acts when I bring him back after the first day. After one day with Anna he pulled me all the way from the road to her door, impatiently anticipated her opening the door, and then flew inside to greet her like he does our closest family and friends. In addition, she is a genuinely kind person who is helpful and flexible. Don’t hesitate to book with her! Your pup will be in the best of hands with Anna! 💕
