“When I say Ms. Rita is an ALL STAR sitter, I’m talking about a true professional. I don’t even LIVE in Delaware, but I attended my brother’s wedding there, and she literally SAVED MY LIFE at the last moment, and babysat my pup BLUE at the last minute! I reached out to her at 7:30 in the morning, for an afternoon drop off, and not only did she reply almost immediately to confirm some details, she accepted the booking! Ms. Rita is just as DELIGHTFUL, WARM, KIND, PROFESSIONAL, CARING, and OVERALL AMAZING as she may appear on this profile. I have never left my dog anywhere except for his groomer, and I was PLEASANTLY shocked at how well my dog took to her and her FABULOUS dog, and the other dog that she was watching. Not only did she send me photo updates, she was so highly communicative the entire time before during and even after…. I mean…. I made my brother’s wedding, and didn’t have to worry about my dog and his accommodations (dogs weren’t showered unfortunately) because I was so grateful for and confident in the care being provided by Ms. Rita. Folks… don’t overwhelm her with bookings… but definitely look no further !!!! She is phenomenal, and I wish I lived in Delaware now just so that I can bring my fur baby here more often! I currently have a Bassett hound/springer spaniel mix named Moody Blues, but enjoy dogs of all sizes and even the sassiest cats! For dogs, we can walk, play at home, I can bring Moody Blues if your dog would enjoy visits, and I’m happy to take care of any cleanups or feedings as well. About: I haven’t taken care of dogs professionally but I have always had a deep love for dogs. I have owned an American Bully and English Bulldog on my own and have had multiple family dogs growing up. Having my own dogs, I have gone through the process of training two different types of temperaments and am looking forward to engaging/learning about more! I currently work from home as an accountant M-F. I have the flexibility to leave and return as needed. I could take my laptop if I needed to be around for an extended amount of time. Otherwise, I have the ability to use my flexibility to be present. I have an open living room setup and an English bulldog of my own to keep them company as well. We go on multiple walks a day and I make sure to try and exert the energy of whatever dog I am with at the time (so they don’t have much time to miss their parents 😂). I have room to crate the dogs if needed and also a pet camera that helps with monitoring.

About: I’m a true dog enthusiast who was the primary caregiver for my German Shepherd, Jax, for almost 9 years until he passed away last year. During that time, I handled every aspect of his daily life—long walks in any weather, scheduled feeding, plenty of play and exercise (he loved fetch!), grooming, basic training, vet appointments, and showering him with affection. Jax was a big, energetic boy with a strong personality. Though I don’t have a dog of my own right now, that deep experience has only strengthened my passion for caring for pups. About: We brought home our 1st puppy when our eldest daughter was 8 weeks old. Everything since then has been easy! Currently have an 8yr old Golden Retriever with a fenced in backyard. Each of our grown children took in a dog or puppy once they had their own homes. We have had cats, hamsters, fish, and guinea pigs over the years. I'm recently semi-retired and my daughters have used Rover for their dogs in far away states. I thought it would be a nice way to give our dog a playmate every once in a while. We have a large fenced in yard which your dog can run around or hangout with our dog if they'd like. Our house is split level so there could be 6 stairs at time to go up & down. I love to walk our dog & listen to books or podcasts.
