“The fact that Courtney is a vet was one of the reasons I reached out to see if she was able to watch Sunny for a weekend while I was out of town due to how anxious she can get. Let me tell you, she did not disappoint. During the meet and greet, she asked about emergency vet info and offered her office as an option for urgent but non-emergency situations since I don’t have a primary emergency vet. She was aware of Sunny’s needs while she was there. Courtney also kept great communication and sent lots of videos and pics during her stay. I was a little nervous since it was the first time I would be having someone come into my home and check in on my cat as I usually take him to a sitter’s home when I go away. However, after the second day, my cat started warming up to her and I felt a huge sense of relief. Emily sent updates and pictures everyday which I appreciated. She followed the little reminders and instructions I gave such as leaving the nightlight on at night and giving my cat a treat everyday. Emily even washed his lick mats before leaving. About: I got my first dog when I was 18 years old. She was the sweetest pup I have ever met! Since then dogs have become an irreplaceable part of my life. I have cared for puppies, senior dogs & few dogs with behavioral needs. I have fostered dogs through the years and learnt how meaningful this experience can be. My last foster was a young adult who was a year old. Open to pets all day subjected to advance notice/short notice. I'm mostly home so I can be flexible with your routine and needs. A small heads up is always appreciated. I live in an apartment complex which is 5 mins away from 2 dog parks. I'll take your dog for daily exercise and morning, afternoon and evening. I live in a neighborhood which has lots of space to walk for regular/short walks. I have a 7 year old mild tempered female dog who will provide excellent care and comfort while you are away. I can easily crate your dog if needed, I have a large crate.

I will care for your pet like its my own. I work remote but I’m available in the morning, some afternoons, evenings and weekends for drop-ins, walks, etc. I understand that you may have urgent needs to so I can adjust my schedule (where available) to accommodate. I always check the outside first when I’m doing a drop in to make sure its safe for the dog to go out. With cats, I like to sit with them for a bit to give them a chance to feel me out before I feed them. If we’re walking, I will find out from the owner what are the suggested routes so that the dog feels comfortable.

About: I’ve always had a dog in my home, and love any and all pups. My 10 year old dog recently passed. He was a one-dog household kind of guy, so my house feels very quiet without a pup in here. I’m also very used to caring for a dog who doesn’t always love other dogs. I work from home full time and have a large backyard. “The fact that Courtney is a vet was one of the reasons I reached out to see if she was able to watch Sunny for a weekend while I was out of town due to how anxious she can get. Let me tell you, she did not disappoint. During the meet and greet, she asked about emergency vet info and offered her office as an option for urgent but non-emergency situations since I don’t have a primary emergency vet. She was aware of Sunny’s needs while she was there. Courtney also kept great communication and sent lots of videos and pics during her stay. I would 10/10 recommend her and will definitely be booking services with her again when the time comes!”
