“The fact that Courtney is a vet was one of the reasons I reached out to see if she was able to watch Sunny for a weekend while I was out of town due to how anxious she can get. Let me tell you, she did not disappoint. During the meet and greet, she asked about emergency vet info and offered her office as an option for urgent but non-emergency situations since I don’t have a primary emergency vet. She was aware of Sunny’s needs while she was there. Courtney also kept great communication and sent lots of videos and pics during her stay. About: I got my first dog when I was 18 years old. She was the sweetest pup I have ever met! Since then dogs have become an irreplaceable part of my life. I have cared for puppies, senior dogs & few dogs with behavioral needs. I have fostered dogs through the years and learnt how meaningful this experience can be. My last foster was a young adult who was a year old. Open to pets all day subjected to advance notice/short notice. I'm mostly home so I can be flexible with your routine and needs. A small heads up is always appreciated. I live in an apartment complex which is 5 mins away from 2 dog parks. I'll take your dog for daily exercise and morning, afternoon and evening. I live in a neighborhood which has lots of space to walk for regular/short walks. I have a 7 year old mild tempered female dog who will provide excellent care and comfort while you are away. I can easily crate your dog if needed, I have a large crate.
About: I’m a devout animal lover with two dogs of my own and one cat. Caring for animals is truly one of my favorite joys in life! My ultimate goal is to give your dog a home away from home when they’re in my care. My senior dog recently passed from a rare lung cancer so I’m experienced in delivering oral medication, round the clock care and attention, and moving at their pace. Your baby will be well taken care of. I work remote so I am able to give your dog lots of love and attention throughout the day. Your dog will be able to take potty breaks every two hours in the fenced-in yard and spend time outside. We typically go for walks in the early morning and late evening. My Rover calendar is updated daily so that I can support any urgent needs, when available. Boarding & Daycare: My ultimate goal is to give your dog a home away from home! I only board one dog at a time so that I can give them adequate, individualized attention all throughout the day. You will not find a sitter in Wilmington that is as attentive as I am. My pets are kept separate during boarding. Your dog will have access to the entire first floor and the fenced in-backyard. I have a dedicated bedroom for boarding where I can sleep with dogs who may have separation anxiety to ensure they are comfortable. Drop-in visits & Walks: I‘ll take my time getting to know your dog and make sure they’re comfortable with me being there. I like to sit with them for a few minutes before and after each walk to feel out their energy levels. On walks, I recognize that this is their social time so I go at their pace and let them get plenty of sniff time. I am very respectful of your home and will follow your instructions closely.

I’ve got experience as a bird owner for over 30 years with multiple types of birds and other animals such as dogs, cats, and handling small critters at Petsmart. I have a safe apartment complex with other leashed dogs that are all friendly surrounding me. My home is smoke free and we don’t use aerosols or candles due to owning birds. Our birds are kept separate from your animals and your pet will be supervised and played with and let out for potty breaks and walks every hour or two.

About: I have had my Siberian Husky American Foxhound since 2019! She is my entire world and is like my child. I love getting to take care of her when I am not teaching little ones at school! I love dogs and everyone in my life has dogs. This includes another American Foxhound mix, a Pitbull mix, and a Labordoodle which I spend extended time with each. I would love to get a chance to walk your fur baby and take great care of them! I am currently done the school year and have my days open for summer break! I am hoping to fill that time with walking some adorable dogs! I live in an apartment so I take my dog on at least 2 walks a day. We often take her in the car to different places such as the beach. I am understanding that everyone has a different routine for their dog and that it is important for the dog and family to stay on that routine! About: I’ve always had a dog in my home, and love any and all pups. My 10 year old dog recently passed. He was a one-dog household kind of guy, so my house feels very quiet without a pup in here. I’m also very used to caring for a dog who doesn’t always love other dogs. I work from home full time and have a large backyard. “The fact that Courtney is a vet was one of the reasons I reached out to see if she was able to watch Sunny for a weekend while I was out of town due to how anxious she can get. Let me tell you, she did not disappoint. During the meet and greet, she asked about emergency vet info and offered her office as an option for urgent but non-emergency situations since I don’t have a primary emergency vet. She was aware of Sunny’s needs while she was there. Courtney also kept great communication and sent lots of videos and pics during her stay. I would 10/10 recommend her and will definitely be booking services with her again when the time comes!”

She sent lots of adorable photo updates throughout the stay, which gave me so much peace of mind. Marissa is incredibly caring, thoughtful, and trustworthy. She paid close attention to all of the care instructions and special details I shared about Rho, and it was clear she genuinely wanted Rho to feel comfortable and at home. She even gave Rho a bath after she had an accident in her crate, which I really appreciated, and surprised us with homemade treats and cute gifts! Rho came home happy and settled back in right away, which tells me she had a wonderful time. I truly appreciate all the love and care Marissa gave her, and I wouldn't hesitate to book with her again.
