About: I started my first pet sitting business when I was just around 7-8 years old. I used to pet sit out here in the same area of Ruch. I grew up out here. As an adult now, with many of my own animals, I am now offering my services again. I rarely go anywhere because I do not like being away from home and my animals. I'm almost always available and close by (servicing only Ruch). I grew up with, and took care of, many kinds of animals; horses, donkeys, goats, dogs, cats, ferrets, birds, rabbits, etc. Being around animals gives me life and I love to help make animals feel special while their humans are away. It's already stressful for them, and for you too, so make it easier with someone who talks to them and makes sure that they feel special. I live at home with my hubby and he is adored by every animal that meets him. He even stole my main doggy daycare client! Know when animals are here, they're cherished by both of us. I have my own small businesses that I can work on anytime I feel like it from home, which gives me great flexibility. I am available to take care of critters in the Ruch area almost any day, minus some appointments that I have sometimes. When I'm not here, hubby is here to watch them. In my home: To protect my own cats and dogs, I need to ensure that your dog is friendly with my animals, vaccinated, and protected from fleas and ticks. Outside is fenced in with no climb fencing and acreage for roaming around our house, they get to let me know when they want to go outside, or come inside. My dogs knock on the door and tell me what they want (in or out). I'm sure they will teach your dog to do the same. When inside, we read, nap, cuddle on the couch, floor, in front of the wood stove, or in a crate if your dog desires. Outside, there are a couple of acres to run and explore. I spend all day tending to my dogs and can do this for yours too.

About: Dogs have always been part of my life, we always had a family dog or three growing up. After college I adopted a rescue into my own family. Our current dog Poppy was rescued at 6 months old, and just turned 9 years old. She's been professionally trained in truffle hunting. I'm a retired safety engineer and run a bed and breakfast on our property. This allows me take care of the dogs and the property all day long. We live on a few acres with our rescue dog Poppy. There is a fenced area where the dogs can play safely outside. There's also a large deck that the dogs love watching the wildlife from. I only accept up to two other dogs at a time so it's a quiet and relaxing setting in the country.

Being away at college, I miss my own pets so much, so I’m always thrilled to pour all that love and attention into yours. I grew up with a dog-aggressive rescue pup from a shelter, so I’m no stranger to big personalities or behavioral quirks. Whether your dog is a total lovebug, a bit of a diva, or somewhere in between, I’ve got the experience and patience to meet them where they’re at. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments—from wild zoomy puppies to sweet seniors who just want a nap buddy. I especially love going on walks and hikes (bonus points if your pup enjoys sniffing every single leaf 🍃), and your dog will feel like my little companion while we explore together. Basically, if your pet likes affection, adventure, and a sitter who talks to them like a best friend... we’re going to get along just fine. 🐾 My schedule is currently wide open, and I’d love to spend that time caring for your pets! I start school on September 24th, but I’ll still have plenty of flexibility—I'm only taking three classes this term, so I’ll have lots of free time during the day and evenings. Even once school starts, I plan to keep my calendar open and manageable so I can continue providing attentive, loving care. I totally understand how important it is for pets to have companionship and consistency. I’d never want your pet to feel lonely or overlooked. Whether it’s a long walk, a cuddle session, or just some company while you’re away, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in yours, their safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take the time to understand each pet’s unique needs, from feeding schedules and routines to favorite toys and any special quirks they may have. When I’m in your home, I work hard to maintain your pet’s usual routine so they feel safe and secure while you’re away. I also treat your home with the utmost respect and make sure your pet isn’t left alone for long periods, especially if they’re used to having company. If your pet is staying with me, I create a clean, calm, and pet-friendly environment where they can relax and feel at home. I’m always mindful of safety, keeping anything hazardous out of reach and supervising interactions if other animals are involved. I love keeping pet parents in the loop with regular updates and cute photos. I know how much trust it takes to leave your furry family member in someone else’s care, and I truly value that trust. My goal is to make your pet feel loved, safe, and happy the entire time we’re together.
