About: I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember, I am naturally quiet and calm so dogs especially are very comfortable around me. I’ve cared for dogs, cats and horses while their humans were away for 40 plus years and I am reliable and thoughtful with every visit. I’m retired and spend most days gardening with my dogs so I’m very flexible. It’s easy for me to make time to add pet care to my schedule. I care for my clients pets per their direction and request adding in lots of kindness and praise. I arrive on time ready to engage with them.

About: I have had pets, mainly dogs, my entire life and I have a true love for animals. I have been pet sitting for friends and family for over 6 years. I have recently joined the Rover community and I am excited for this new experience! I do work a part-time job so my availability often differs by the day but I still have plenty of time for pet care! The earlier I am requested and care is planned out, the better I will be able to adjust my schedule to your needs! I have plenty of experience caring for pets, majority dogs, in their own home and my goal is always to make them feel comfortable in their space! My availability for caring for pets in my home is more limited but I do have a fenced yard and two dogs(one small and one medium) that are both friendly with other dogs and able to be crated if necessary!

About: I’ve taken care of pets for family and friends for as long as I can remember. I love going on walks and seeing new parts of the city and would love to have a companion on my adventures. Our family dog passed a little over a year ago and I miss having a pet in my life even if just for a quick 20 minute walk. I will care for your pet as if they were my own. I have a fenced in yard in a quiet neighborhood and own a crate if needed for their comfort. I’m really glad Anissa was available to watch my cats the following week. Doing two back-to-back trips was stressful, but I knew I was in good hands. We were able to work out some minor kinks in their care, and it made for a smoother visiting time! She was so good with Azula, and I got plenty of pictures (pictures of Mitski were occasionally included, as long as she was behind the washing machine). :)
We are so grateful for the exceptional care Lindsay provided, especially during a stressful time when our dog became ill. This was my first time working with Jeff and he took very good care of my cat, Carmella while I was out of town. He sent updates and photos on a daily basis each time he came to the house and watered my plants/flowers as well. He has experience with and a passion for animals, and I will have him take care of my pets again in the future.

Sarah took great care of our very shy Charley! He hid from her for the first few visits but they became huge playtime pals on visit #3 and thereafter. In addition to Charley’s fun and games, Sarah watered indoor and outdoor plants, filled our bird feeders and kept a close eye on our home. I just hope we can get Sarah again the next time we travel!

Hailey was amazing! We really missed our cats on our trip and Hailey sent multiple pictures everyday. We were so excited to see them playing and snuggling with her each day. Hailey provided a variety of activities for the cats, including playing with different toys and providing stimulation like opening the windows. We really appreciated her help!
