About: As a rising third-year veterinary student at the University of Illinois, I bring both professional training and genuine love for animals to every pet I care for. Through my veterinary education and hands-on clinical experience, I have worked with animals of many breeds, sizes, ages, energy levels, and temperaments—including shy, anxious, high-energy, and senior pets. My experience has taught me how to safely handle animals, recognize signs of stress or illness, and adapt my approach to each pet’s individual personality and needs. Whether your pet loves playtime and attention or prefers a calmer, quieter environment, I strive to make them feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you’re away. I’m comfortable caring for both dogs and cats and have experience with feeding routines, medications, and providing patient, attentive care. I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone dependable, communicative, and trustworthy, and I take that responsibility seriously. I will care for your pet as if they were my own and keep you updated so you can feel confident they are in good hands. My schedule is very flexible this summer! I am currently working part-time and participating in some veterinary shadowing experiences, but outside of that I have wide availability for pet care. I am available most weekends and have flexibility throughout the week, especially during mornings and evenings. I’m happy to work with owners to find times that best fit their pet’s routine and needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. As a veterinary student, I have experience recognizing signs of stress, illness, and discomfort in animals and understand the importance of careful, attentive care. About: I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember, I am naturally quiet and calm so dogs especially are very comfortable around me. I’ve cared for dogs, cats and horses while their humans were away for 40 plus years and I am reliable and thoughtful with every visit. I’m retired and spend most days gardening with my dogs so I’m very flexible. It’s easy for me to make time to add pet care to my schedule. I care for my clients pets per their direction and request adding in lots of kindness and praise. I arrive on time ready to engage with them.

About: I have an 2yr old hound mix, I have a large fenced yard that we like to play fetch in and a nice neighborhood for walks. I’ve dog sat in my home and outside my home while owners were on vacation for weeks at a time. I’m a big dog lover that likes to go for walks and provide each dog with the attention they need while their owners are away. I want to reassure each owner that their furry friend is in good hands in my home and will be treated just like they’re at their home. I do have young children in the home too that love all dogs I work from home some and also have to work on site some days. I would provide a set schedule to the pet owner ahead of time of my work schedule. I have a fenced yard to provide safety and lots of play time and area to run. I have a locked gate to ensure your animals don't escape.

About: Hi! My name is Elisheba, along with being a mother to 3 kids, I am also a lover of all things furry and cute. I have been caring for dogs my entire life and have owned American Bulldogs, Boerboels and Frienchies. I frequently dog sit for my friend's furry kids while they are away. I have experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes as well as energy levels. I am a laid back person myself, but my children sure do a great job at keeping pups active and entertained. I consider myself an experienced puppy snuggler but I love going on walks and venturing to local dog parks. I understand that your dog is a member of your family and I will make sure they feel like they are a member of mine!

About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life, from raising pitbulls to boxers to chihuahuas! I’ve also pet sat for multiple family members and neighbors growing up. I am currently a student at the university of cincinnati, looking to make some extra cash doing things i enjoy! In between classes or overnight stays would be a perfect schedule for me! I only have about 3-4 hours of classes each day. I constantly miss my furry family members back home and would love to put you at ease knowing yours are in good hands. I am open to doing anything from walking to feeding to bathing. Also providing your pet with lots as love as long as they’re open to accepting it!

About: I have had pets, mainly dogs, my entire life and I have a true love for animals. I have been pet sitting for friends and family for over 6 years. I have recently joined the Rover community and I am excited for this new experience! I do work a part-time job so my availability often differs by the day but I still have plenty of time for pet care! The earlier I am requested and care is planned out, the better I will be able to adjust my schedule to your needs! I have plenty of experience caring for pets, majority dogs, in their own home and my goal is always to make them feel comfortable in their space! My availability for caring for pets in my home is more limited but I do have a fenced yard and two dogs(one small and one medium) that are both friendly with other dogs and able to be crated if necessary!

About: I’ve taken care of pets for family and friends for as long as I can remember. I love going on walks and seeing new parts of the city and would love to have a companion on my adventures. Our family dog passed a little over a year ago and I miss having a pet in my life even if just for a quick 20 minute walk. I will care for your pet as if they were my own. I am currently on summer break from work and would love to take care of your pet in my free time. My schedule is fairly open and flexible. I have a fenced in yard in a quiet neighborhood and own a crate if needed for their comfort. I foster dogs so I have raised food and water dishes, a bed, and other essentials to make their stay comfortable.

About: I have been in the veterinary field for 5 years and work general practice and emergency medicine. I am able to give medicine of all kinds including injectable medicine. I love animals and will always treat your pet as my own. I do work full time in the veterinary hospital and I am available on weekends and some days during the week. I will be available most holidays as well. I clean up after them if there are any accidents. I will ensure they have food and water when allowed per instructions. They will be walked and have play time. They will be treated as my own.

About: I’ve always had a dog while growing up and have a true love for them! I may not have any pets of my own at the moment but I treat each dog as such. Since I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life I know the kind of love, attention and care they need and ensure to provide all of those traits for this I’m in the process of getting my real estate license so I’m currently working part time mostly at nights, which leaves my mornings and afternoons pretty available to check in/walk your dogs! My current place does not allow me to have pets, but from having my own dogs growing up I know the kind of care it takes to handle a dog in your own home! I would treat both your home and dogs with respect and give your dog the love you need for the time being
