About: Grew up with dogs. Haven’t had as many dogs as cats as they required more attention than cats and Rover didn’t exist when I was younger. I had 3 dogs in my young adult life over the course of 30 years. Currently we have a 9 year old pittie rescue and she is well cared for. I’m recently retired so my schedule is very flexible. Rover has made it possible for us to travel with peace of mind that our pets would be cared for. So I figured it would be a good fit as a retirement job and now I can give others the same peace of mind. The retired lifestyle has left me very flexible for going to people’s homes to help with their cat and dog maintenance while they travel. Currently not looking to offer in home services.
About: I’ve had dogs my whole life. I currently take care of my parents dog when needed, my best friends new puppy, and have prior experience with senior dog I used to care for. I work fully remote job so I have flexibility throughout the day to care for a dog as well as fenced area to let dog out in. We may crate or restrict a pets access to roam if we are receiving another guest pet or person 🙂 or if we have to run out of the home to run an errand.
