“Siri is great! We did a meet and greet ahead of time and from the moment my dog met her, it was easy to see she understands and cares for animals. My dog can be shy with new people, but Siri has this calm confidence, and they connected immediately. Every walk was on time, with detailed updates and photos that gave me peace of mind knowing he was getting good care and happy. It’s good day when you find someone who treats your pet like their own, Siri is one of those special people. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, kind, and competent person to care for your pet.”

“I could tell from the pictures that my Aussie, who can be a little nervous and tentative with new people, was comfortable and happy with Eric. I recommend his services 100%!”

Flexible drop off and pickup hours. Lots of hugs and love to make your four legged child feel like he or she is at home while you are away. Keep your pet on their normal schedule. Personalized care for your pet. Check in at any time to see how your pet is doing and receive daily text and video updates of your pet. I would love to host your pet in our home or drop in to your home to care for your pet. Please do not hesitate to text or email me with questions on pet boarding and sitting options that I provide. My weekly schedule is flexible, so I am able to give your pet much time and attention during the week and on weekends when they stay in my home. My partner, who also has over 20 years of experience caring for dogs, works with me to care for your pet. We alternate times during the day to care for your pet so that he/she has full time care and each of us has time to tend to other duties. We ensure that dogs and puppies in our home are supervised at all times. We allow each adult pet the space to roam freely and close off any rooms or areas we want restricted. With puppies, we restrict them to the room where we are as we like to closely monitor the babies. If we have multiple dogs/puppies in the home during your pets visit, feeding and potty breaks are done separately. We may crate or restrict a pets access to roam if we are receiving another guest pet or person 🙂 or if we have to run out of the home to run an errand. We try and follow your indicated pets schedule as closely as possible. You can assured that your pet will receive lots of love and attention while in our home.

About: I have had pets, mainly dogs, my entire life and I have a true love for animals. I have been pet sitting for friends and family for over 6 years. I have recently joined the Rover community and I am excited for this new experience! I do work a part-time job so my availability often differs by the day but I still have plenty of time for pet care! The earlier I am requested and care is planned out, the better I will be able to adjust my schedule to your needs! I have plenty of experience caring for pets, majority dogs, in their own home and my goal is always to make them feel comfortable in their space! My availability for caring for pets in my home is more limited but I do have a fenced yard and two dogs(one small and one medium) that are both friendly with other dogs and able to be crated if necessary!
About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with pets and even adopted my own dog in college. I bring years of hands-on experience and genuine care to every pet I look after. I’m currently available most days of the week and would be happy to find a schedule that works best for your dog’s routine, comfort, and care. I am a part-time student and will be starting classes this fall, so I’ll be unavailable on Tuesdays from 8:00 AM–2:00 PM and Thursdays from 9:30 AM–2:00 PM. Outside of those class hours, my schedule is flexible, and I’m happy to coordinate a time that works best for both you and your pup. I treat every pet like my own. I love taking the time to get to know each animal, understand their personality, and learn what activities they enjoy the most.
About: Leaving your dog behind can be hard—whether it’s for a weekend getaway or a busy workday. You want someone who’ll treat them with the same love and attention you do. You need more than just a dog watcher; you need someone who gets it. Someone who will keep your dog happy, safe, and loved until you’re back. As a dog mom to two golden retrievers (9 and 5), I’ve had plenty of experience with dogs of all energy levels, temperaments, and needs. I’m comfortable managing medications, preventing allergy triggers, and handling allergic reactions if they arise. Our home has a large front and backyard, perfect for playtime, exercise, and fresh air. Whether your pup needs long walks, belly rubs, or someone to sit quietly and keep them company, I’ll care for them as if they were my own. You’ll get regular updates, photos, and all the reassurance you need—so you can relax, knowing your dog is in good hands. At the end of the day, it’s not just about keeping your dog fed and exercised—it’s about making sure they feel at home, even when you’re not there. Because your dog deserves the best. And so do you. Both my husband and I work fully remote. We’re flexible with our schedules and always block out time for long walks and a lot of time to play with ours and your pups! We’re early risers as well and are flexible accommodating for your pups needs throughout the day. If caring for pets in our home, you can expect a minimum of 3 walks a day and lots of outdoor time in our front and backyard patio. We’ll keep a close eye on any pups to ensure full safety. If caring for pups in your home, you can expect me to treat your home like my own and respect it fully while also sticking to your pups schedule you would keep on a regular basis. I’d love to work with you to make sure your pups needs are fully met!
“Very accommodating when I needed to cancel day of because one of my dogs started to get sick the night before. Also went above and beyond to come over early before I needed to get to work to show me how a gentle-lead works and see how my dog would react to having it on.”

About: Hi! I’m Anna, a dependable and attentive dog sitter offering walks, drop-in visits, and in-home pet care. If you’re looking for someone reliable and caring to treat your dog like family, I’d love to help. I have experience with dogs of all ages, from playful puppies to senior dogs who need a slower pace and extra attention. I focus on calm, consistent care that keeps your dog comfortable, safe, and on their normal routine. I provide careful attention to feeding, walks, and instructions, and make sure pets get both exercise and companionship while you’re away. About: I love the dedication and unconditional love that dogs provide their human companions. I will admit that personally I have cats, and they just don't do that all the time :) I have dog-sat for friends over several years providing feedings, walks, and playtime to Malteses to German Shepards. I love getting to know each dog and treating them as if they were my own, which means they are usually going to be pretty pampered. If your dog needs specialized care, I would be willing to learn. I don't really know what specialized care entails for a dog, but feel free to message me and we can discuss. I am a high school teacher so my availability is afternoon/evenings and weekends during the school year but wide open once it is the summertime. My cats are not used to dogs, so caring for dogs in my home would mean they would be spending time outside. However taking care of dogs in their home allows them to be comfortable, have rub my belly sessions (if that's what they like), and take walks in the area that they are most comfortable.
About: I have taken care of all kinds of animals from rabbits and chinchillas to dogs and cats! I love all kinds of animals and am happy to give time, patience, and attention to all different types of animals. I also have experience staying overnight and caring for a kitten! I am an unemployed college student, home for the summer, with only employed friends, so basically my schedule is completely open to provide care for your pets! I can feed, play with, walk, cuddle, clean up after, and provide more than the needed attention to your pet. I have tons of experience with animals of all shapes and sizes!
“My jack russell, Polly, had a wonderful time with Jay! He was a great communicator, took lots of pictures for me, and overall took great care of my crazy pup! Thanks so much Jay! I would absolutely recommend him to others!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
