About: We are excellent dog, cat, bird, poultry, reptile, and fish caretakers as we have raised most of these, and a few years ago, we had a thriving Rover business taking care of folks' animal babies. We can take care of medications if your pet needs: We have administered medicine to most of the animals on our list, including oral medication for a rooster and injections for a snake. We have had some experience in training our current dog as a service animal. While we have not had the chance to care for farm animals on our own, we love them and have had experience being around them (horses, sheep, goats, cows, pigs, alpaca). Animals, plants, gardens, farms, and home-care are all in our wheelhouse and are the foundations to our lives. If you are looking to have your fur baby stay with us, we have a large home with a fenced backyard. Our German Shepherd loves to play with other dogs, and we take him and our guests to local dog parks or fenced fields to play ball and or frisbee. We take care of our guests exactly how we want our pup to be taken care of! I work part time remotely and part time I will need to be in the field. What that means is a lot of the time, I will be in the home, hanging with your furry, feathered, or scaly baby, working on my laptop. During the times I need to work outside of the home, my 19 year old daughter (who has been doing Rover with me since she was 11) will give the best care in my place. I have a thriving Airbnb business in my home for over a decade, so I have a ton of experience and mindset on home-care: I treat other folks' pets and homes as well as I treat my own. I make it point to keep my clients connected via photos and updates. If I am providing boarding in my home, our 4 year old German Shepherd will love to play with your pup. If I am providing sitting in your home, then my pup will stay home unless requested for a playmate in your home.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and I appreciate every minute I have with them and all animals. I’ve created my own dog walking business several years ago and gained lots of experience working with and observing the ways dogs function. I am currently Undergrad at UC Davis but use my free time to walk the dogs at Yolo County Animal Shelter. These days, I am working hard at school but appreciate the time I have with any animal! Besides the occasional study session or family vacation, I am free! I am comfortable crating, feeding, watering or walking any pets! I am happy to help take care of other household chores like watering plants or taking in mail!

About: I've had multiple dogs all my life (all shelter rescues of all sizes and temperaments) and cared for them up into their senior years. From unique feeding routines to walks/runs in the early morning, to fetch, tug-of-war, midday potty breaks, and cuddles, I've done it all! I've also raised and fostered several litters of rescue kittens to be adopted, from bottlefeeding to litterbox training and handling practice. I am well learned in cleaning litterboxes, prepping midday snacks, and providing love and attention for kitties of all ages. I provide runs and walks for various dogs several days a week and house-sit on occasion during the summer. I also drop in to play with, feed, or entertain dogs whose families are away for long periods of time during the day. Because each pet is unique, I ensure clear communication of expectations from the pet's family prior to any walking or sitting. I always carefully monitor pets for signs of stress, discomfort, or injury and am prepared to take action in the event of emergencies. I maintain regular communication with pet families when they're out of town (send pictures and updates of their pets) and organize my weekly walking schedule frequently to ensure convenience for both me and the client. As someone with pets and a love for animals, I hold myself to a high standard to make sure every animal is comfortable and thriving with any walk, run, or visit.

About: As a veterinary student at UC Davis, I have both professional knowledge and a lifelong love of animals. I’ve spent much of my life fostering dogs of all ages, from newborn puppies to seniors, so I’m very comfortable adapting care to each pet’s personality, routine, and needs. One thing that’s especially important to me is the human–animal bond. Our pets are family, and I understand the amount of trust it takes to leave them in someone else’s care. I always strive to treat every animal as if they were my own while also respecting the routines and preferences that make them (and you!) feel most comfortable. I believe strong communication with owners is essential. I strive to provide consistent updates, photos, and messages so you always know how your pet is doing while you’re away. My goal is to give you and your pet peace of mind, ensuring your pet feels loved and well cared for and that you feel confident they are in knowledgeable, attentive hands. Through my veterinary training and extensive hands-on experience, I’m also comfortable administering medications and monitoring pets for any health concerns, especially for senior pets or those who need a little extra care. As a veterinary student at UC Davis, my schedule is decently structured, which makes it easy for me to plan dedicated time for pet care. Throughout the week, I’m able to schedule visits, walks, and check-ins, depending on what is needed, around my classes and studying. I always ensure that every animal gets the attention that they need, rather than rushing it. Caring for animals is already a big part of my daily life and future career, so spending time with pets fits very naturally into my routine. I prioritize reliability and consistency, and I always plan my schedule carefully so I can provide dependable care and clear communication with owners. I believe it is important to provide updates on when I visit and how your pet is doing! Whether it’s regular visits, walks, or check-ins while you’re away, I make sure each pet gets attentive, thoughtful care and that owners receive consistent updates. I always prioritize safety for your animal, but also ensuring that they have a comfortable environment that is the least disrupted when you're gone. I am very attentive to detail to the needs of your pets and ensure that all requests get done!
