About: I’ve been around cats and dogs my whole life. I know how important it is to create a routine in their daily lives through playing, training and feeding to ensure that they are healthy and happy. I am a strong believer in positive reinforcement and enrichment training for dogs and cats. I am a proud owner of two 5 years old gray tabby cats and one 1 year old Germain Shepherd mix puppy. I’m currently a part time stay at home father of a 2 and a half year old daughter. Because she will be attending preschool soon, my free time will be spent taking care of other people’s pets. I know how important it is to enrich your dogs life through sniff walks and play time. Knowing your dog’s preferences through walking style and fetch habits are key to providing the best care I possibly can as a dog walker. As for cats, I know how particular every cat is, if and when, they interact with humans. I always take a slow and patient approach to most cats as to not disturb them or create stress in their life. I always recommend a run through with your cats prior to scheduled visits, so that I know how your cats prefer to be fed and what toys they like to play with.

“Marisa is exactly who you want to take care of your fur baby(s) when you’re unable to. I have 2 cats and a Frenchie and on many occasions Marisa has cared for them. Cats are easy, but frenchies can require a lot of TLC especially if they have health problems. My Frenchie has 3 herniated discs in her spine along with an enlarged heart, which means keeping her calm, no jumping up or down, and no going up or down stairs which requires carrying. We also have a pretty detailed food regimen which has been no issue for Marisa. She has a dog of her own, Manny who is very well behaved and well cared for.”

“My dog, Samson, is not the easiest nor friendliest of pups, unfortunately. I had to leave out of town unexpectedly, and Conner allowed me to be at ease not being present. Conner was patient, persistent, and understanding. He was always communicative, provided great updates that allowed me to not worry, and was always very kind and understanding about Samson’s temperament which I really appreciated and do not find common. He was also respectful and conscientious, and that put both mine and my roommate’s mind at ease with him having access to our home.
