About: I grew up with dogs and have had an extensive career in the Animal Health Industry, selling veterinary pharmaceuticals for 25 years, and also working as a client services representative at a busy emergency and referral veterinary center. Not only did I grow up with dogs but I have had my own dogs as an adult, which I actually got because the family I was sitting for could no longer keep them and asked if I would like to make it a permanent situation. I cared for both of them into their senior years and became proficient at managing their medical conditions that arose from aging (diabetes and canine cognitive disorder). My two boys required very extensive care and routine insulin administration for my diabetic as well as additional medications that I became very proficient in administering, even if they were particular about taking pills, etc. I am very knowledgeable in how to manage multiple dogs at once, how to keep dogs safe in various environments, and a good eye for anything that may indicate they may not be feeling their best. When I had my guys, I would often trade sitting and walking favors with my fellow dog owners so I have had a lot of experience sitting for and walking other dogs throughout my life. My goal is to give peace of mind to dog owners that they can go on vacation, business trips, day trips, or just out anywhere, and they will know that their dog is in great, loving hands. I am currently working full-time but I am off on Thursdays and Fridays and I can also take on pets in the evenings after work. When sitting for your pet I can take them out on my lunch hour if necessary. I would follow any requests that you have in order to make your pet as comfortable as they are when you are there. I am very familiar with local walking trails and parks that are pet friendly.

About: I grew up with a black lab and currently have 2 high energy french bulldog puppies. I have not met a dog I didn’t like! I currently work a full time time job but I am available all weekend. I spend a lot of time sitting at a desk so hoping to get my step count up while helping someone else tire their dog out! Available for pet sitting in my home and I am available to come let your dog out, feed your dog, walk your dog, play some fetch, brushing, belly rubs, and anything in between!

About: Hello! I am a pre-veterinary student at UW madison looking to work with animals! I have experience dog sitting for multiple breeds of dogs and a cat as well as having my own dog named Pippi! I have a unique experience as well working with monkeys! I would love to be able to pet sit or walk any breeds of dogs or cats!! I will work around my work schedule for the summer. My hours are not yet fixed but I’m expecting to hear in the next week! I care for pets in my home by providing all the nourishments for the animals including toys! I would also care for pets in a clients home by again providing all the necessary food and water needed by the animals as well as further environmental enrichment and of course walks!

About: Hello! My name is Sommer. I've been on Rover since January 2024! I love animals and have had experience with pets my whole life (Dogs, cats, parrots, small lizards, gerbils, fish, chickens). I’m a mom of an 8 and 6 year old who also love animals. My Husband and I have been married since 2009. We currently own chickens that are pets and lay eggs for us. We live in a quiet Hartland neighborhood in a cul-de-sac that is very low traffic. Part of our yard is fenced for play and potty breaks, and I love taking daily walks around our neighborhood. In the last year we lost our beloved family dog and we really miss having a furry friend in our home. We are sensitive to animals' needs at all ages and uphold the utmost respect for your deserving companion! When they are happy so are we! I currently work part-time from home so I have plenty of time to spend with your pet! I'm available any day of the week for boarding. I live in a quiet cul-de-sac. I always practice sit-stay when opening the door to prevent bolting out. Our yard is partially fenced and outside the fence your pet will always be leashed. If I am away for a short period and it's needed for safety or per your preference, we do have a large crate and an enclosed pet gate.

About: I have always had 2 dogs at all times throughout my life. Ever since I was young, and I love them and always loved taking them on walks and spending time with them. I’m currently working a part time job which is usually later at night. i always have a few hours in my day to take care. I am always respectful to people’s property in there homes and just to hangout with dogs would be very sweet and I would be excited for the experience.
