About: I've had pets my entire life of all types including dogs, cats, and other small animals! I had a cat for 17 years who lived the most luxurious and spoiled life a cat could want, and currently have a little voidling boy with plans to eventually adopt more! I regularly walk and groom dogs at the shelter, I volunteer at the Yakima Humane society and plan to start vet tech school next fall. I work from home as a freelance editor so I can work on my laptop anywhere. I have the ability to work around your busy schedule with ease. During the fall quarter I will be taking a single morning class so I will continue to be available at almost any time you need! I will always heed to the knowledge and advice you have about your own pets needs and combine it with my own expereince as a lifetime pet owner and volunteer. Be it an energetic lovebug that needs extra attention or a senior pet that has special needs, I am capable and happy to care for your pet as if they were my own.

About: My neighbors trust me to take care of their furry friends when needed. I’ve since moved away for college and hope to meet more pet parents through Rover! I have a full-time job (can WFH) with a flexible lunch break, so I can take care of your pet throughout the day! Carol was extremely communicative, asked to book a meet & greet despite my last minute booking, was super responsible with our home & left it in great shape, and was just a really lovely person. I cannot overemphasize how well she reads dogs - for instance, my barky pom was being his usual guard dog self, and she mentioned she was going to stop doing eye contact with him so he would have a chance to settle. And he settled very quickly! She's so experienced with dogs, and it was a huge bonus that I found out that she has fostered dogs in the past. You have to have a lot of empathy, hope, flexibility and patience to be an animal foster parent, and I love that she came to us with all that and more. I've lost track of all the cool things she did - she tended to our plants, she took my dogs on jogs very often, improved my recipes for the dog's treats and food according to health needs.... the list goes on and on. All with Carol being very chill and sweet and super easy to work with. I'd have her back in a heartbeat. All my dogs LOVED her, from the puppyish 2 year old to the old lady 13 year old in our pack. 5 stars, 10/10, easy stress-free experience!”

Sent a message to Dakota and he got back to us very quickly, scheduled a meet & greet the next day, dogs loved him, and we confirmed. Our dogs - 2 large and 1 medium sized can get either super excited and or protective, Dakota knew how to greet them immediately and we felt comfortable with it being a great fit. We came back to a clean house that was vaccumed, picked up, and with dog towels for muddy paws and their onesies washed and folded. Definitely recommend Dakota for any of your fur babies needs! 🐶🐾
