About: I have been taking care of a bunch of animals sense I was 8 I would take care of my own as well as take care of my neighbors and family members while they were away. I am also in college to become a veterinary assistant I currently own a Chiweenie, chameleon, and a cat I rescued I take care of them every day and have free time to be able to take care of more animals! About: Ive been a dog lover as long as I can remember, and as soon as I turned 18 I started working at a dog daycare/boarding facility. It was a blast! I loved getting to know every dog individually and watch them grow. After a few years I was ready to find more of a career with dogs so I switched over to dog grooming. I’ve been grooming professionally for the last 3 years and love showing dogs that grooming doesn’t have to be a scary thing. Keeping the pets safe and happy is always my top priority when working with them in any situation. I treat every pet like they are my own! Recently became a stay at home mom so my days are very open. I still do some grooming at peoples homes but it isn’t anything consistent so I am very flexible. I have experience using all different types of collars and leashes depending on each dogs needs. Safety will always be a top priority when taking dogs off of your property for walks and if their collars/harnesses are not secure I will have a slip lead on hand that can be used as a backup in case they slip their leads. I will also continue any training you are doing with your dog for loose leash walking/reactivity to make sure there is no going backwards! I also am very experienced going through doors/gates while dogs try to get through so no escapes on my watch!

About: I grew up in what is basically a small zoo. Growing up, my chore list included animal care. We had cats, dogs, hamsters, fish, sugar gliders, and I had a hedgehog for 4 years. I just graduated college, and I am looking for developing a work schedule that involves a lot of small jobs. I have been doing seasonal work, and I am set up to substitute at some school districts. I am excited to be able to do pet care alongside these other things. I will be able to feed and take care of basic stuff such as potty time. In terms of potentially interacting with animals, it will be up to the animal. If there is going to be a pet that is shy or untrusting of me, I will give them the space they need to feel comfortable. If your pet is only wanting play time, I can give them play time or walks or whatever they are wanting.

I will clean up after the pet not to leave it in the yard. After that coming back in and feed and water the dogs. Then a brush if needed, as well as some playtime with toys. Treats given to the owners specifications. Diet maintenance if needed as well. I will clean up after myself and the animals, so you will never come home to a messy house.
