About: I grew up in what is basically a small zoo. Growing up, my chore list included animal care. We had cats, dogs, hamsters, fish, sugar gliders, and I had a hedgehog for 4 years. I have been doing seasonal work, and I am set up to substitute at some school districts. I am excited to be able to do pet care alongside these other things. I will be able to feed and take care of basic stuff such as potty time. In terms of potentially interacting with animals, it will be up to the animal. If there is going to be a pet that is shy or untrusting of me, I will give them the space they need to feel comfortable. If your pet is only wanting play time, I can give them play time or walks or whatever they are wanting.
About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life. Ever since I was a kid it’s been a goal of mine to help and care for any animal in need. I’ve been taking care of my friends/family’s furry babies since I was 15. I can guarantee you that your furry friends will be safe with me! Pet care fits into my routine because I have an open schedule. I do have a job but I’ll make sure to tend to your pet as much as possible. About: I have always had a substantially great amount of love for animals. I grew up on the rural area of town and we always had cats, dogs, chickens, horses etc. I would like to consider myself as a very reliable and responsible individual. I treat all animals I interact with as if they are my own. I am a stay at home mom so most of the times that I am watching dogs or cats my son will be around as well, so i prefer any large dogs to be on the calmer side. Unfortunately, where I currently live does not accept any animals therefore I won’t be able to watch any dogs or cats in my home. walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
