About: A WFH animal lover with a flexible schedule. With only 1 class at YVC and working from home I can make time in my life to make yours easier! I've had pets my entire life of all types including dogs, cats (including my late senior boy), and other small animals! I currently have a little black cat with plans to adopt more! I've had lots of experience with senior cats AND dogs and special needs babies. I regularly walk and groom dogs at the shelter I volunteer at when I'm not booked up and plan to start vet tech school next fall to continue my pursuit of working with animals. About: I've taken care of the family dogs for as long as I've been conscious enough to and have further sat for family friends and other relatives. I have trained my own puppy (he's almost 3 now), have some experience with administering medication (oral and topical), and have looked after senior dogs in various stages of their old age. I have owned and cared for dogs of various sizes from tiny chihuahuas to larger than average rottweiler mixes and handled many different temperaments. I currently do not have a job, so I am able to spend as long as necessary with your pet. I am free all day on most weekends for things like check ins or walks, but on weekdays I can only do boarding or daycare (as I also lack a car). I have a fully fenced in yard and two friendly (medium to large) dogs to play with (my poodle and my father's Rottweiler). I also have access to a kennel/crate if needed, but my sister's dog broke it, so it's more for dogs that are already crate trained and won't avidly try to get out or dogs that don't need fully kenneled and just need their own space. I think this is also the best section to note I don't actually have a cat. I have a rabbit who is kept in a pen. She's not easily spooked and loves dogs, but she's still a rabbit.
