About: I grew up in what is basically a small zoo. Growing up, my chore list included animal care. We had cats, dogs, hamsters, fish, sugar gliders, and I had a hedgehog for 4 years. I have been doing seasonal work, and I am set up to substitute at some school districts. I am excited to be able to do pet care alongside these other things. I will be able to feed and take care of basic stuff such as potty time. In terms of potentially interacting with animals, it will be up to the animal. If there is going to be a pet that is shy or untrusting of me, I will give them the space they need to feel comfortable. If your pet is only wanting play time, I can give them play time or walks or whatever they are wanting.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs for my friends and family since I was 12. I’ve done everything from walks to weekend sleepovers. I have experience with all types and ages of dogs. I also have experience administering medications and accommodating around injuries and allergies (pills, eyedrops, creams, and cones) I currently attend Perry Technical institute so I have class Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:00pm. Carol was extremely communicative, asked to book a meet & greet despite my last minute booking, was super responsible with our home & left it in great shape, and was just a really lovely person. I cannot overemphasize how well she reads dogs - for instance, my barky pom was being his usual guard dog self, and she mentioned she was going to stop doing eye contact with him so he would have a chance to settle. And he settled very quickly! She's so experienced with dogs, and it was a huge bonus that I found out that she has fostered dogs in the past. You have to have a lot of empathy, hope, flexibility and patience to be an animal foster parent, and I love that she came to us with all that and more. I've lost track of all the cool things she did - she tended to our plants, she took my dogs on jogs very often, improved my recipes for the dog's treats and food according to health needs.... the list goes on and on. All with Carol being very chill and sweet and super easy to work with. I'd have her back in a heartbeat. “Mandy was wonderful !!! We have 4 dogs, two seniors both deaf and partially blind and two young one under two years old. We were out of state at a family wedding. She sent pictures and updates during our visit. She is quick to respond to any inquires and will ask for clarification if she needed it. Our dogs were hardly excited to see us upon our return. They were very happy in their normal space but with their new favorite human. We will happily use her again and again.”
About: We have had dogs most of our lives - many different breeds. We currently have a four year old high-energy German Shorthaired Pointer. I love to care for dogs, and love to have a four legged friend that loves to go on walks with me. We also have three indoor cats. Cats are grreat companions. About: I have always had a substantially great amount of love for animals. I grew up on the rural area of town and we always had cats, dogs, chickens, horses etc. I would like to consider myself as a very reliable and responsible individual. I treat all animals I interact with as if they are my own. I am a stay at home mom so most of the times that I am watching dogs or cats my son will be around as well, so i prefer any large dogs to be on the calmer side. Unfortunately, where I currently live does not accept any animals therefore I won’t be able to watch any dogs or cats in my home. I am a stay at home mom doing online school so I have plenty of time do watch and play with animals. My 2 year old son will be with me most of the time so hopefully that needs to be kept in mind while booking with me. He loves all animals as well and knows how to be gentle with them.
