“Daisy always has a blast when spending the day with Mark and his family. She’s made friends there and knows when we arrive, it will be a fun time for her! I can always count on Daisy being well taken care of when she’s at Mark’a place:) Thank you!!!!”

“Sydney had the BEST time with Katie & friends. She came home, ate & went right to sleep. Katie was great with her & understood the temperament of the breed. She sent a video of my dog & hers playing. I highly recommend her & trust her completely with Syd. In fact Sydney will be staying with Katie for 3 days next month. Katie’s great with dogs!!! ❤️❤️”

“Kimberly took care of our Beagle puppy while we were in town visiting family for a holiday. She was incredibly nice and professional in her communications, and did a great job taking care of our high-strung pup. Would 100% recommend!”

About: I am a stay at home mom who loves dogs. Your dog will have tons of attention from me, our outgoing dog friendly 4 year old shih tzu mix and my 2 kids. Daily walks and lots of fun always! 4 years dog sitting both in my own home and at clients. I am always home pandemic or not. My dog and yours too would be included in everything we do. Always an hour long morning walk sun, rain or snow, afternoon play in both garage and fenced yard. I also spend a lot of time on the floor playing fetch and snuggling with both my dog and kids. Wilson loves having another dog around to chase and play with. My dog was paralyzed in both back legs for about 6 months 2 years ago. We were able to rehab him but I am comfortable with disabled elderly or injured dogs. I am always home as a stay at home parent pandemic or not. Your dog will have human and dog interaction and attention all day everyday. My dog loves to play with big and small dogs. We walk for an hour daily and play at least twice outdoors in afternoon and before bed.

“Shawna watched our puppy for an afternoon. Our dog typically has some separation anxiety but seemed to immediately warm to Shawna and enjoyed her day with new friends (Shawna and her little girl). I look forward to booking again with Shawna!”

“A relative usually cares for Fido (our chihuahua mix) when we travel. When we and our relative travel at the same time, we needed another option for Fido’s care. That led me back to Rover where I’ve previously found excellent doggy caregivers. This time I was fortunate to find Beth who turned out to live nearby. She was clearly at ease with Fido at the meet and greet, and he was excited to see her when he was dropped off for doggy daycare. It wasn’t long after the drop off that I received a photo of him snuggled up on a soft blanket and being cuddled. I knew he was comfortable and in his zone at that point! It was reassuring to know I can leave Fido with Beth and not worry about him. That is worth a lot!”

“Huey felt right at home with Brittni and her family of dogs and house cats. Drop off was easy and organized for first time meeting. He was smiling all the way home, and been napping since. He had a great workout and a lot of fun. He still may get to have a cat as a friend someday!”

“Janet is amazing! With a dog who struggles with separation anxiety, I was pretty nervous about how she would do in a new setting with unfamiliar people and dogs. Janet worked her magic and got Frida to trust her. My dog typically will pace and not eat if I’m not round, but that was never the case at Janet’s house. After a few days of dog care, Frida is was part of the pack and loved every minute of it.”
“Alexis was a great communicator and got right back to us regarding our puppy's stay for the day. She was very caring for our large breed puppy, sending us photos of his busy day playing with her dogs in their fully fenced yard. I would not hesitate recommending her for any sized dog.”

About: I'm kind towards all animals and I feel a deep sense of responsibility for those in my care. I currently have a small dog. Check the pictures here. I'm retired and available to watch a dog or two in my home. I would be able to give your dog my full attention for most of the day. The dogs I watch will be inside with me or if the weather is suitable in my fenced backyard. The yard is fairly small and well shaded.
“Terry and his wider Fernanda were wonderful to my two huskies. my female husky has special needs and they watched over her while I was teaching a class. I felt completely good about the whole thing. My male husky played with their dog and another dog.. if I return to Yakima and need a sitter I will definitely choose Terry. My dogs are my world, and I felt they were in very very good hands.”

About: I've taken care of the family dogs for as long as I've been conscious enough to and have further sat for family friends and other relatives. I have trained my own puppy (he's almost 3 now), have some experience with administering medication (oral and topical), and have looked after senior dogs in various stages of their old age. I have owned and cared for dogs of various sizes from tiny chihuahuas to larger than average rottweiler mixes and handled many different temperaments. I currently do not have a job, so I am able to spend as long as necessary with your pet. I am free all day on weekends for things like check ins or walks, but on most weekdays I can only do boarding. I have a fully fenced in yard and two friendly (medium to large) dogs to play with. I also have a large crate available if it is ever needed.

About: Hi! I’m Taya (: I live in Cowiche, WA (about 15-20min from Yakima). I’m a 22 year old college student who is a certified animal lover 😊. I’ve grown up surrounded by all animals - dogs, cats, fish, horses, cows etc. I’ve done pet sitting/walking off and on for about 6 years now. My family and I have a few fur babies of our own - 2 Dachshunds, 1 Rottweiler, 1 Belgian Malinois, and 2 cats (: My schedule is pretty flexible, as I take college classes online and I’m a certified HCA/CNA and my schedule for that is not full at the moment. I’d love to be your next pet sitter! I’m available throughout the week and weekends for pet sitting, walking, and in-home visits. I also offer overnight stays in your home! We can definitely always work something out! At my home your pets will be allowed on the couch, bed, chair, pretty much whenever 😅 (if that’s okay with you!) Unfortunately I do not have a fenced yard. However, where I live I’m far from the main road and surrounded by orchards, and my yard is really big and open. I will always be outside with your pets to make sure they remain safe and bring them back inside when done! I can easily crate your pets if wanted/needed. If we are just doing walks or in-home visits, I will follow your instructions on what to do with your fur baby!
“Angela & Ashlyn were great with my Pano. They were able to take him even tho I gave them a very short notice. They were kind and gentle with my older dog. They sent me pictures and videos throughout the stay. They walked him out after the visit to my car. I would work with them again and recommend them to anyone. :)”
