About: I’ve had a love for animals since I was a little girl. My mom has always had a love for cats so we got to raise multiple cats and their kittens growing up. When I was 6-8 I finally got the responsibility of my own dog. It was a huge deal to me and taught me so many things I’m glad I was able to learn at a young age. Animals are a huge responsibility, from health to sensory play to ensure the animal is as happy as can be it’s all a big deal to me. When I was 18 I started to work for another at home pet care service and learned even more useful things. How to administer medecine, how to care for senior dogs and their special needs, and how to love and take care of any animal as if it was my own. At 20 I got the pleasure to work at PetSmart Pet Hotel , although it was short lived because of my living situation at the time it taught me a lot. I got to work with all kinds of different dogs and cats with different temperaments and medical needs. From some of the most viscous dogs to the sweetest ones , I always strived to make all of those animals happy as long as they were with me Animal care fits into my everyday life. Having 5 dogs and 2 cats, may seem like a lot to some, but being able to give a home to all my animals while making them happy is such a treasure to me. I have a fenced yard and 5 loud but friendly dogs and 2 cats. My dogs eat on a twice a day schedule to help them stay on a routine and not be all over the place. I take all my dogs (except for the senior) on walks either daily or a few times a week if we chose to do longer hikes at Deep Lake. I strive to keep all my pets happy, clean , and respectful

About: Hello! My name is Shawna! I've worked professionally with dogs of all breeds and ages for nearly my entire life. I grew up in a family that ran a boarding kennel in Juneau, Alaska, and currently own and operate Dandy Dog Daycare and Boarding there. I am looking to offer services while I'm here in Yakima during my transition to permanently relocate here! I am well-versed in animal behaviors and interaction and focus on the health, safety and comfort of the pets in my care. I can provide nail trims and basic brush out depending on your pets needs. Get in early to establish your pet with me ☺️ I will be working from home so your pet will be a part of family life here! They will be out for potty and exercise breaks often throughout the day. I care for pets like my own, they will be in the main house with my family and senior dog! We have the ability to create overnight if that is something your pet is used to! There is a four foot fenced yard that would be accessible to pets that do not have a tendency to jump out of enclosure. If you are concerned your pup may test fences, I am also able to do leashed potty breaks and walks.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for my friends and family since I was 12. I’ve done everything from walks to weekend sleepovers. I have experience with all types and ages of dogs. I also have experience administering medications and accommodating around injuries and allergies (pills, eyedrops, creams, and cones) I currently attend Perry Technical institute so I have class Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:00pm. I am available anytime that I’m not in class. Im very flexible so feel free to reach out whenever, I take same day requests. You and your fur baby’s comfortability are my top priority. I am open to visits before services to confirm that your dog and I will get along. I am more than willing to send updates as frequently as you’d like so you never have to wonder how your pup is doing. I also double-check that everything is locked after services to ensure your dogs safety.

About: I grew up with a Mastiff and a highly energetic Pitbull, so I’m well adjusted to large and small dogs. I’ve also consistently volunteered at animal shelters throughout my high school days. That consisted of washing, feeding, and walking the dogs. Dog breeds, sizes and ages are not an issue for me and I hope you’ll give me a chance. I work from the office M-F but with notice I can ask to work from home if needed. I am completely available Saturday and Sundays. Depending on the situation, I would walk the dogs twice and strictly follow the feeding schedule. Playtime is also something I look forward to. I follow the guidelines of the client to a T.

About: For Thanksgiving, my wife and I adopted a shelter dog, Gunter! He is filling our house with his big heart and giant head...8-] I know the need for all dogs to get out and get some exercise, and that includes me as well. Taking walks provides a good workout for the pups and peace of mind for the parents as well. Having been used to getting up before the sun to walk him, I am available rather early every day! I currently am a Volunteer at the Humane Society shelter specifically to walk the larger dogs that the staff or other volunteers always need help with. This, by the way, is how I came to see Gunter as needing a home with us! I look forward to meeting you and your dogs!

About: I had my soul dog for 8 years. He passed away, but I loved training him, taking him on walks all the time, and loved hiking with him, and he showed me love that no other animals have ever shown me. He showed me what loyalty is. He always made me smile and happy.
