About: I’ve had a love for animals since I was a little girl. My mom has always had a love for cats so we got to raise multiple cats and their kittens growing up. When I was 6-8 I finally got the responsibility of my own dog. It was a huge deal to me and taught me so many things I’m glad I was able to learn at a young age. Animals are a huge responsibility, from health to sensory play to ensure the animal is as happy as can be it’s all a big deal to me. When I was 18 I started to work for another at home pet care service and learned even more useful things. How to administer medecine, how to care for senior dogs and their special needs, and how to love and take care of any animal as if it was my own. At 20 I got the pleasure to work at PetSmart Pet Hotel , although it was short lived because of my living situation at the time it taught me a lot. I got to work with all kinds of different dogs and cats with different temperaments and medical needs. From some of the most viscous dogs to the sweetest ones , I always strived to make all of those animals happy as long as they were with me Animal care fits into my everyday life. Having 5 dogs and 2 cats, may seem like a lot to some, but being able to give a home to all my animals while making them happy is such a treasure to me. I have a fenced yard and 5 loud but friendly dogs and 2 cats. My dogs eat on a twice a day schedule to help them stay on a routine and not be all over the place. I take all my dogs (except for the senior) on walks either daily or a few times a week if we chose to do longer hikes at Deep Lake. I strive to keep all my pets happy, clean , and respectful

About: I have been taking care of a bunch of animals sense I was 8 I would take care of my own as well as take care of my neighbors and family members while they were away. I am also in college to become a veterinary assistant I currently own a Chiweenie, chameleon, and a cat I rescued I take care of them every day and have free time to be able to take care of more animals! I enjoy being able to help animals because they can’t voice when they need help. I like being able to make them happy by taking them on walks with getting a pup cup afterwards and giving them lots of attention and watching for any warning signs of injury or illness

About: Hello! My name is Shawna! I've worked professionally with dogs of all breeds and ages for nearly my entire life. I grew up in a family that ran a boarding kennel in Juneau, Alaska, and currently own and operate Dandy Dog Daycare and Boarding there. I am looking to offer services while I'm here in Yakima during my transition to permanently relocate here! I am well-versed in animal behaviors and interaction and focus on the health, safety and comfort of the pets in my care. I can provide nail trims and basic brush out depending on your pets needs. I'm comfortable working with all breeds, ages and sizes and I am pet CPR certified. I will be offering pet care in my home to begin with but I will be expanding my pet services shortly! Get in early to establish your pet with me ☺️ I will be working from home so your pet will be a part of family life here! They will be out for potty and exercise breaks often throughout the day. I care for pets like my own, they will be in the main house with my family and senior dog! We have the ability to create overnight if that is something your pet is used to! There is a four foot fenced yard that would be accessible to pets that do not have a tendency to jump out of enclosure. If you are concerned your pup may test fences, I am also able to do leashed potty breaks and walks.

About: I grew up in what is basically a small zoo. Growing up, my chore list included animal care. We had cats, dogs, hamsters, fish, sugar gliders, and I had a hedgehog for 4 years. I just graduated college, and I am looking for developing a work schedule that involves a lot of small jobs. I have been doing seasonal work, and I am set up to substitute at some school districts. I am excited to be able to do pet care alongside these other things. I will be able to feed and take care of basic stuff such as potty time. In terms of potentially interacting with animals, it will be up to the animal. If there is going to be a pet that is shy or untrusting of me, I will give them the space they need to feel comfortable. If your pet is only wanting play time, I can give them play time or walks or whatever they are wanting.

Main fences have extra anti escape proof fencing that wont allow a dog to jump over fence. Cameras around the home up front, side and back yard that are recoding 24/7. Trusting neighbors that watch over the neighborhood. Cameras inside and outside of home.

About: Hello! My name is Melody and I have two dogs, a 3 year old German Shepherd (Zoey) and a 6 month old Golden Retriever (Teddy). They are the absolute loves of my life. I love animals so much and taking care of them is an absolute dream. I have experience with puppies, administering medication, and with large dogs. Im very active and strong so large or fast or maniac dogs don’t scare me at all! I have lots of experience training my own dogs. I am a big runner so I’m always happy to run or walk fast with your dogs, or just go for a leisurely stroll. I’m in between full time jobs right now so I’m pretty much available anytime to care for your pups! I spend a lot of time each day training and working with my two dogs. They deserve our love and attention as much as we can give. I have my two dogs along with numerous animals where I’m currently living so unfortunately I can’t host any dogs, but I’m available for walking or sitting in a pet owners home.

About: Im an active person who likes to walk and play with pets! I like many playing stylesnlike rough play with hands or gentle play with toys. I also have expirience playing with and takeing care of cats! Im aware of allergies and the needs of animals that need bacic special care, like oral medication or ointments. I am free most days so usualy i can come in whenever needed, i sometimes leave during night stays as i do have errends to do sometimes but often i just stay and hand out with your pets. I take pets out and feed them and make sure they always have water. Playing to me is a good way to make bonds with pets and a good way i take care of them.

About: For Thanksgiving, my wife and I adopted a shelter dog, Gunter! He is filling our house with his big heart and giant head...8-] I know the need for all dogs to get out and get some exercise, and that includes me as well. Taking walks provides a good workout for the pups and peace of mind for the parents as well. Having been used to getting up before the sun to walk him, I am available rather early every day! I currently am a Volunteer at the Humane Society shelter specifically to walk the larger dogs that the staff or other volunteers always need help with. This, by the way, is how I came to see Gunter as needing a home with us! I look forward to meeting you and your dogs!

About: I grew up with dogs and have been entrusted with taking care of extended family's pets while they are on vacation. I also have some experience volunteering with Wags to Riches. I have a cat and a kitten. I am working part time with not a lot of hours. I do not have much going on for summer and prefer to work just weekdays for my regular job, so I will be most available during the weekends. I am gentle with animals and try my best to let them do things on their own terms, but will provide a guiding hand if needed.

About: I’ve had animals my whole life. The past 3 years I’ve cared for family and friends fur babies. Would love to expand my services and care for yours! I’m comfortable working with small to large breed dogs, high energy pets, senior needs. I left my career to stay home and raise my grandkids. Which leaves me time to care for your fur babies and meet all their needs. My home sits on 10 acres and is fully fenced. I have 2 friendly dogs that are well socialized with other pets. You fur baby will be treated like part of the family wether inside or outside. I can easily crate your dog if needed.

About: From fancy dogs with special diet and grooming regimens to skrungle cats who eat trash exclusively, I've run the gamut when it comes to pet care. I'm also experienced with giving meds to both dogs and cats via pill, liquid, or injection. I am currently enrolled in school, but I'm only a part-time student (3 hours per day) so I have basically the whole day to hang out with your animals. Creating an accommodating environment for animals is important as the person caring for them to keep things safe and comfortable for everyone. Abiding by set routines and following house rules is something I'm personally big on. I also have a fenced in back yard at my house for short term stays if needed.
