She went above and beyond from the start, even coming over with her kids to meet Lucy beforehand. She’s truly salt of the earth, and I immediately felt at ease the moment I met her. As first-time dog parents, we had plenty of questions and requests, and Dawn was so accommodating, evening keeping us updated with the sweetest photos. I loved that on our first daycare service Lucy got to socialize with her kids and even play with another dog while she was there. On top of that, my husband has a difficult work schedule, and Dawn was incredibly flexible, which made everything so much easier. Watching a hyper puppy is no small task, but Dawn handled it with such care and patience. We are so grateful to have Dawn and her family in out circle!”

My experience includes senior dogs and those requiring medication administration. I am eager to provide a comfortable and caring home for your beloved pup! 🐾 I work from home on the weekdays, so I’m able to remain attentive for your doggo throughout the day. If your dog sticks to a routine just let me know and I will be happy to make them feel at home. I live in a large multi room apartment with a grassy back yard. There are no other pets in the home so my attention will be focused on your fur baby. My situation is good for those with anxious dogs who want a quiet but playful environment. I am familiar with observing animal behavior and making sure they feel safe. There is a one floor walk up leading to my home, so I just ask that your dog is comfortable with stairs (or small enough to be carried).

About: I've been around dogs my entire life but have owned my own dog for the past 4 years. I am constantly watching my friend's dogs while they are away and know how important it is to have someone to trust and provide a loving and caring home away from home for your pet while you are away! I currently work from home full-time, so I'll have plenty of time to walk and play with your pup! I have a highly energetic dog, so we take several walks during the day and then I take her to nearby parks with trails after work. I'm available for boarding during the week and on weekends. I have a medium sized fenced in yard and a very sweet dog to keep your fir baby company! My dog has free reign of the house and is allowed on the furniture and sleeps in my bed but can also crate your dog if needed.

About: I grew up surrounded by cats, dogs, birds, rats, and fish. I love animals and care for them as members of my family. Beyond routine care of cats and dogs, I have had experience administering insulin and testing blood sugar in cats, clipping nails, bathing, administering ear medication and ear cleaning, assisted feeding, checking for constipation in cats, and ensuring pills are swallowed. Currently, I live in a 3 bedroom apartment with my husband. I work in Human Resources for a local non-profit and work from home 2 days a week with an hour lunch break (I work 15 minutes from home). My husband and I are very active and usually go for hikes on the weekends. Although I love all animals, I would say my husband favors dogs more. He is always so excited when we have a dog visitor. Although my husband will definitely provide love and attention to your pet, I will be the one responsible for caring for your pet and will be the one you communicate with. We have two of the goodest girls around (cats). They are laid back and non-aggressive. They love when I pet-sit because of the opportunity to swipe some extra food from their guest -- don't worry, we have ways to mitigate this but this doesn't stop them from thinking they're getting more food. Most times I have cat or dog sat, they all mingle, there is plenty of space for them to separate on their on accord. However, I do have the ability to make a room private if your cat/dog would like some time alone. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions. I know how painstaking and hard choosing someone to take care of and be responsible for the most meaningful beings in your life can be. I am very flexible so please don’t hesitate to reach out to ask questions or inquire about special needs/accommodations, like an elderly animal that will require staying home more or an animal with medical needs. Thanks for reading! I work 35 hours a week, 10 minutes from home while working remotely two days a week. I am grateful to have a lot of flexibility with my schedule so if there is ever a need to leave early or arrange to go in later, I am available to work around your animals needs. Additionally, I have an hour lunch break so I can always go home to check or take for a walk. I don't have a yard but like to go for walks. On the weekends, my husband and I like to head west or north and usually end up taking long walks outdoors or going for hikes. We always love having a dog to take with us. When in another person's home, I follow instructions meticulously to meet your animals needs. When boarding at my home, I like to be as transparent as possible with what I can offer and what my space has available so we make a perfect match before your animal arrives.
