“Tori is such a thorough and thoughtful sitter. She recently completed her 3rd stay with my pets at my home(including overnights) & has been more meticulous every stay. My pets were happy and healthy upon my return and I look forward to using her services again. Thanks, Tori!”

About: I have house sat for many family members, neighbors, and acquaintance’s pets for two years. Before that I walked a few dogs in my neighborhood. This is currently my only form of work. I am almost always free unless there are other bookings lined up. I have form of transportation to get to your pets easily. I take staying in another’s person’s house very seriously. It is your space, and I intend to only stay to keep your fur babies happy, entertained, and taken care of. I respect your rules and clean up, so you felt like no one was even there.
“Cassidy took such fantastic care of our boys while we were away! So many extra great touches and details. Our boys seem happy and well taken care of. I cant really say enough! Thank you, Cassidy!”

“Joey did fantastic house sitting with our sweet girl. He was very attentive, always provided updates, and did a great job at just caring for our home as well. Would highly recommend Joey!”

“Terry did a fantastic job caring for our two large dogs while we were away. He was dependable, friendly, professional, and clearly cared about our pets’ well-being. We felt completely comfortable knowing they were in good hands. Communication was great, and everything was handled exactly as promised. We highly recommend Terry to anyone looking for a trustworthy and reliable pet sitter.”

About: I love watching animals and I want to be friends with yours! I am a cat dad of three and value the bond built between a person and their animal, and aim to treat your furry family the way I would want my own to be treated. Aside from years of work on Rover, I am always the first option for the people close to me because they know they can trust me. I work full-time M-F but mostly work from home, so I have a lot of flexibility to step out to check on your loved ones—especially in the morning and later afternoon/evening. I also generally have an open schedule on weekends for drop-ins. I always strive to make my and anyone else's pets feel safe and comfortable. I've met many cats and dogs that get easily overwhelmed, so I always work to give animals their proper space/calming energy if needed. On the other hand, if someone wants a lot of attention, I make sure to meet their excitement and will always play with them as much as they want! It comes down to making sure they know they are safe and cared for, but also that they are respected.
“Tristan was great. He arrived on time and was very polite. He took very good care of my baby and provided constant updates. I will definitely contact Tristan for any future needs.”

“Rocky, Luna and Mocha are loved beyond and my home is exactly as I had left it. My chickens are happy! The communication while we were away was outstanding. I have never had a more relaxed trip away knowing my home and animal family is cared for.”

“We couldn’t be happier with the care of our dog and cat received while we were away. Serenidy went above and beyond, showering them with love and attention. Not only did they feel comfortable and loved, but our home was also in great hands!”

“My pets loved her! Great communication, goes above and beyond and truly cares about our pets and spending time With them. Would highly recommend and wouldn’t want to book with anyone else!”

“Bryan took incredible care of my pup when I left for travel for first time in 5 years. I was extremely anxious leaving, yet Bryan was calm, compassionate and extremely fantastic with Francesca, she loves him! I will definitely be scheduling regular walks so that she can enjoy the fun with Bryan again on a regular basis. Thank you Bryan!!!”

“Lindsey did a great job taking care of our 3 dogs while we were out of town for the weekend. They can be high maintenance at feeding times, but seemed to have done well.”

“Highly recommended using Morgan! We had such a great experience and she took amazing care of our two Pyranees pups! It made such a difference knowing our dogs were in such good hands. We came home to 2 very happy pups! Would definitely book her again!”

“Jenna was great even Sage our Jack Russell that gets anxious when we leave on a trip warmed up to her quickly. Nova our other dog loved her from the moment she walked in. She left the apartment clean and very happy dogs. Jenna’s response rate and updates were 100%, I would definitely recommend having Jenna take care of your pets.”

“Lauren was absolutely amazing!! I had to find a sitter last minute, and I loved her bio the moment I read it. She responded quickly to my request and made sure to nail out the details for my dog’s stay. I could tell she’s experienced and loves animals, and so could my dog! She sent regular updates and pictures, and when I saw my dog frolicking in her backyard and snuggled up later on in the evening like he forgot I had dropped him off was all I needed to set my mind at ease haha! Lauren is a fantastic sitter and I will absolutely be booking her again. Thank you so much!!”

“Mark was absolutely amazing with our dog. He sent us photos throughout the weekend and updated us on how he was doing. Due to our dog being a little uncertain of new people, Mark even offered to come meet him ahead of time for peace of mind. We will absolutely be using him again!!”

“Nora is just the best. She sent us so many photos and gave us updates. She left our house cleaner than we left it. She also was super communicative of when our dogs were left alone which was minimal.”

About: ✨✨✨As a THANK-YOU, first-time clients who book 3+ days will receive a small surprise keepsake featuring their pet at the end of their booking! ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ For over 2 years I have worked as a Kennel Assistant at various companies and I now currently work at Woodstock Pet Resort! I love working with animals and have the trainings needed to care for your furry animal. At my job, I feed and medicate animals, watch for body language, and monitor over 25 dogs at a time during day care. I work part time at Woodstock Pet Resort. So, when I’m not scheduled to work, I leave my availability for my Rover clients. Working with pets is something that comes naturally to me now and is something that just clicks with me. :) I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and safe while their owner is away. I make sure they have fresh food and water, bathroom breaks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention. I also keep the home clean and send tonssss of photos so owners know their pets are doing well. I’m patient, attentive, and always try to make pets feel calm and cared for in their own environment. I love working with dogs with high energy and making sure they end the day sleepy! I have also felt with more anxious dogs, like ones scared of thunderstorms. I know it is not easy, but I am willing to slow down, match their pace and do what’s needed, to make them feel as at peace as possible.

Tori is such a thorough and thoughtful sitter. She recently completed her 3rd stay with my pets at my home(including overnights) & has been more meticulous every stay. My pets were happy and healthy upon my return and I look forward to using her services again. Thanks, Tori!

Had a last minute family emergency and Aubrey was willing to step in on short notice. Took good care of my dog and most importantly communicated well in terms of how my dog was doing and in addition when she wanted to take my dog somewhere asked first. I had no issues with that and my dog had a good time but asking first for things like that is important.

Sarah took great care of my dogs while I was away. She was very sweet with them and kept me updated throughout the stay with lots of photos and messages, which I really appreciated. It gave me peace of mind knowing they were getting plenty of love and attention. Thank you for taking care of my pups!

Mikayla was wonderful! She took excellent care of my pets and kept me updated with quick messages and photos, so I always knew they were doing well. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and truly went above and beyond. I would absolutely book with her again in a heartbeat.

Terry did a fantastic job caring for our two large dogs while we were away. He was dependable, friendly, professional, and clearly cared about our pets’ well-being. We felt completely comfortable knowing they were in good hands. Communication was great, and everything was handled exactly as promised. We highly recommend Terry to anyone looking for a trustworthy and reliable pet sitter.

Jackie arrived on time, was a great communicator and took good care of our two little pups for 9 days. Our house was immaculate and our furry kids were well cared for while we were gone. We felt comfortable with Jackie and would not hesitate to book her for a repeat engagement.

Morgan is wonderful. She is very professional and my dogs were very comfortable with her from the first introduction. She was very thorough with instructions and my concerns with all my dogs little quirks. I have two smaller size dogs and she was the perfect house sitter while I was away. Followed all our directions and all went perfectly to plan. I recommend Morgan for a pet sitter and hope to see her again if I am in need. Thanks again Morgan!

Michelle house sit for my 2 dogs and 2 cats for several nights. She took such great care of my pets, from giving them plenty of outside playtime, to giving them lots of human companionship, to following all my care instructions perfectly and communicating with me daily. You can tell she’s very experienced with pet care! Thanks Michelle for sharing all the photos and watching over my fur babies!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Woodwind Station on Rover is $55.5 per night (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of August 2026, there are 4,396 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Woodwind Station. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Woodwind Station walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Woodwind Station maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Woodwind Station choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Woodwind Station. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
