About: I have been taking care of animals for 30 years. I have owned several and at one point had 7 pets (2 dogs, 3 cats, a chinchilla, and a newt) while my kids were little. I am mostly retired and so I just hang around the house mostly. I have some medical appointments I’d have to leave the house for if house sitting but can likely reschedule if needed! I have a fenced in yard and a loving and happy 3 year old dog named Kobe. I have a crate inside if needed. Our basement has a mudroom with a doggy door to the backyard so they are never left outside. About: I've loved dogs my entire life! In my 20s, my family members, friends and colleagues all knew me to be their "go-to" dog sitter. I looked forward to every opportunity I had to love on someone's fur baby! Due to my living situation at the time, I was not able to have a dog of my own. My heart baby, a Pomeranian named Myles, passed in May 2026. He was 15.5 years old, and my spoiled only child. I look forward to the opportunity to care for your beloved fur child as if he/she were my own. For drop ins and overnight house sitting, I am able to sit for dogs over 25 pounds as long as they can be let out in a fenced backyard and does not require walks. My schedule is fairly flexible, with the exception of being unavailable on Sundays. Regarding "drop-ins", if you need someone to "sit" with your fur baby for a longer period of time in your home, I am available for that as well. Had a last minute family emergency and Aubrey was willing to step in on short notice. Took good care of my dog and most importantly communicated well in terms of how my dog was doing and in addition when she wanted to take my dog somewhere asked first. I had no issues with that and my dog had a good time but asking first for things like that is important.
Mikayla was wonderful! She took excellent care of my pets and kept me updated with quick messages and photos, so I always knew they were doing well. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and truly went above and beyond. I would absolutely book with her again in a heartbeat.
