Animals have always been a part of my life—I have never lived in a home without pets, and it simply doesn't feel like home without them! Growing up, my family cared for four cats and six dogs, each with their own unique personalities, needs, and temperaments. Our dogs ranged from a gentle, friendly Golden Retriever to a highly intelligent former police German Shepherd, as well as a large dog with behavioral challenges that required specialized handling. Through that experience, I learned how to safely care for dogs with different temperaments, recognize body language, and prioritize the safety and well-being of both the dog and those around them. In addition to my personal experience, I've been caring for pets since I was 16 while nannying for families. Many of those families continue to trust me with their dogs years later, and I also regularly pet sit for friends and their families. I've cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels, and I'm comfortable with feeding routines, walks, administering medications when needed, and providing plenty of playtime, attention, and affection. I know every pet is unique, and I strive to make them feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away. My goal is to provide dependable, attentive care so you can have peace of mind knowing your furry family member is in good hands. I have remote job with no scheduling parameters, so I can be home and close to your fur babies all day long!

Whether I'm caring for pets in my home or in a client's home, my priority is making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. I pay close attention to each pet's individual needs, including feeding schedules, exercise, medications, and any special instructions provided by their owner. Having grown up with dogs and cats of all personalities—including high-energy working breeds and dogs with behavioral challenges—I understand the importance of reading body language, respecting boundaries, and creating a calm, secure environment. Safety is always my top priority, whether that means using secure leashes and harnesses, avoiding unsafe situations, or ensuring pets are never left unattended in risky environments. I know how important trust is when someone else is caring for your pet, so I provide reliable communication and regular photo updates so you can have peace of mind while you're away. My goal is to care for every pet as if they were my own, giving them plenty of attention, affection, and individualized care.

Abby did an amazing job! She is prompt with her responses and is an excellent communicator. She kept us updated with our dogs and our home and even helped troubleshoot our AC after a brief power outage. She was patient and understanding through it all! She took excellent care of our home and left it cleaner than we left it haha. I would highly recommend her and will be using her again!
Abby has watched my two dogs when we were on vacation. She is very loving, attentive and patient with them. I say patient because my maltipoo is a very nervous dog who requires a lot of attention and patience and Abby provided that. Typically when we would come home from them either being boarded or if we left them with family, the dogs would be very anxious when we picked them up. Whenever Abby watches them, when we come home the dogs act as if we just went to the store. They feel so loved and safe with Abby that they don’t seem to mind that we were gone. I feel very comfortable having her watch my dogs.

Schedule
I work from home with no set schedule and completely make my own hours and do not need to speak to anybody during my work day. I can be home all day and night with your pets! Pet care fits naturally into my routine and I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. My schedule is flexible, allowing me to provide walks, drop-in visits, overnight stays, and plenty of one-on-one attention. I prioritize maintaining each pet's normal routine, whether that means early morning walks, scheduled meals, playtime, or evening cuddles. I plan my day around the pets I'm caring for so they receive the time, attention, and consistency they deserve.
