About: I spent 2 years working at a doggy daycare so I understand dog behavior very well (gave dogs medicine, followed food instructions, seen it all). I also have a dog of my own so I understand personal needs and concerns! I’m currently working part-time, usually mornings, but I am very flexible and don’t mind making visits after work. I work well with spontaneity, so I can make last minute visits (within reason), and am ok with last minute cancellations. When I meet a new dog, especially one I’m taking care of, I usually take a few minutes to pet and play with the dog so that they become comfortable with me and can trust me. I never leave without making sure they have a bowl full of clean water, and food if they need it at that time.

About: I work from home and would love to host and care for your fur babies while you are at work or away on vacation. I have loved animals of all types my entire life. My husband and I formerly rescued and fostered multiple rat terriers and placed them in loving homes through an organization called New Rattitude. I currently have a volunteer position with the same organization as a microchip coordinator. While I was in high school and college I worked for two animal clinics in the Metro Atlanta area and volunteered with local animal shelters. My family pets over the past 22 years were 2 Rat Terriers and 2 Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mixes that all lived to be seniors. I have experience in caring for dogs of all ages. Since I am at home so much, your dogs will be not be lonely, they will be doted on and treated like royalty. I have a large fenced in yard for sniffing, exercise and exploration. I only take one client at a time. I do not have any pets of my own currently, Yours will have my undivided attention and care. I will update you with photos and status reports on a daily basis. Since I work from home, I will keep your dog on any required schedule such as medications, supplements, specific feeding times, and potty breaks. Playtimes and naptimes will be intermittent throughout the day. I have comfy doggie beds throughout the house and under my office desk. My home is clean and safe. I have a secure, fenced in yard with many areas to explore and space to run around. All gates are padlocked. I also stay outside with the dogs that are in my care. About: I have taken care of all kinds of animals from dogs to cats and even rats. I have pet-sat for neighbors and family since I was 15 and have recently gotten a new cat since moving to college. I have also dealt with animals with special needs including my family dog that has seizures and another family dog that is deaf, blind and has to receive insulin injections after every meal. My schedule is currently very open and I am available any day throughout the week as well as weekends. I am not currently looking for too many overnight stays because I do have a cat of my own to watch after. I have a very spoiled cat of my own that gets all of the attention that I can provide as well as daily play time and brushing. I keep to a very strict feeding schedule because my cat does have some food insecurity issues so I try to be very mindful of that. While taking care of my family’s dogs that require medical attention, I keep a check off list next to the food in order to insure that their medications that are either taken with or taken right after food are administered accordingly.

I also have a dog of my own so I understand personal needs and concerns! I’m currently working part-time, usually mornings, but I am very flexible and don’t mind making visits after work. I work well with spontaneity, so I can make last minute visits (within reason), and am ok with last minute cancellations. When I meet a new dog, especially one I’m taking care of, I usually take a few minutes to pet and play with the dog so that they become comfortable with me and can trust me. I never leave without making sure they have a bowl full of clean water, and food if they need it at that time.
