One thing I especially appreciated is that they have access to an outdoor space in New York, allowing Lio to get fresh air and feel comfortable outside of the apartment setting. Giselle, was great! Highly recommend, and will for sure repeat booking in the future. Giselle was extremely prompt and responsive when coordinating a meet and greet/ pick up and drop off. She sent lots of photos, videos and text updates about our pup while we were away for several days. She has and amazing calm and positive energy...truly felt like our fur baby was in good hands.
We left our doggy again with this lovely family - who now have a baby who is also so sweet with Wilbur. We love them so much and love knowing Wilbur is being taken care. During the heat wave, they made sure to take special care (walking in the morning, ensuring AC is on) as our dog gets super hot outside.
Lizmarie did a good job looking after my two dogs. I was extremely nervous using this service for the first time especially when you hear horror stories of people mistreating and neglecting your pets. She was very communicative. I would consider using her again to pet sit.
Noelle was a fantastic caretaker for our dog, Dodger. She helped out last minute, watching him for the weekend. He usually gets a little stressed after car rides and being left with strangers but he warmed up easily. Noelle sent great pictures and updates during the weekend and we will definitely be reaching out to her again!

Rover Review for Leon ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you're looking for someone to trust with your dogs, please read this. This isn't just another Rover review for us. For almost two years, my wife and I didn't take a single vacation. We used to travel six or seven times a year, but that all stopped after a tragedy changed our family forever. Our beloved 14-year-old Labrador Pit Bull mix, Cooper, stayed with a dog sitter we had trusted for nine years. Before we left, Cooper was happy, vibrant, and full of life. Aside from a little arthritis that comes with age, he was healthy. We had been playing with him before leaving for our five-day vacation, and there was absolutely nothing to suggest anything was wrong. When Cooper was dropped off at our home after we returned, we were told everything had gone great. The moment I took him out of the car, I knew something was terribly wrong. He could barely walk. We rushed Cooper to the veterinarian. Two days later, he deteriorated rapidly. We learned he had suffered a severe spinal injury, and on New Year's Eve we had to say goodbye to the glue of our family. Cooper wasn't just our dog. He was the heart of our home. He was the one who held everyone together. To this day, we'll never know exactly what happened because we were never given an explanation. That experience changed us forever. It left us with PTSD and a fear of ever leaving our dogs with anyone again. Anyone who truly loves a dog understands they aren't just pets. They're family. Losing Cooper devastated us, but it also devastated our chocolate Labrador, Chloe. She grieved his loss right alongside us. The house became quiet. The joy was gone. Almost a year later, after a lot of healing, we welcomed another chocolate Labrador into our family, Callie. Even then, we still couldn't bring ourselves to travel. I went by myself with Callie and Chloe so they could meet Leon. We spent a long time talking about dogs, life, and how he and his wife started Dog City. He shared stories about the dogs they've loved over the years, and you could immediately tell that caring for dogs wasn't simply a business to him. It was something he genuinely loved. Callie and Chloe immediately felt comfortable around him. Labs tend to love everyone, but I could tell they were relaxed, and that meant a lot to me. Even after that first meeting, I went home and thought about it for almost a month. That's how difficult this decision was. Finally, I told my wife, "I really want you to meet Leon. We have to get away. It's time." So we went back together for a second visit. She asked every question she wanted to ask, and Leon answered every one of them with patience, kindness, and understanding. We never told Leon what had happened to Cooper. We simply told him that our previous dog sitter had retired. He had no idea we were carrying almost two years of fear and heartbreak. Leon didn't just take care of our dogs. He gave us something we thought we had lost forever. He gave us back our trust. Leon may never realize it, but by simply being the caring, compassionate person he is, he helped us take the first step toward healing.
