“I enlisted assistance of Bianca when I needed to board my pets over the holiday due to last minute work reassignment and Bianca made herself available on short notice. I also placed my babies in her daycare and she was more than helpful in rearranging her schedule to meet our needs. She has been more than kind, attentive and accommodating to my babies, Autumn and Pumpkin, from the moment they met. She took the time to bring her baby, Bb, to meet my pups I and ensured that everyone got along. She's focused on assuring me that my babies needs are met with contact continuously while they're in her care - with pictures videos and text updates. If you're looking for a dedicated, responsible, caring individual to care for your babies, then have found the one in Bianca. I am so grateful for the care she has provided my babies and will continue to enlist her help in the future.”

“Essence is a lifesaver. She watched my 3 year old dog who has separation anxiety for several days while I had long days of work. Every day my dog would refuse to walk home and was so excited to go back! She sent so many pictures of him taking many adventures, even taking him to the beach! She's very responsive and it was a huge relief to me to know my dog was safe and having a great time. I could not recommend her more.”

“Juliet has been watching our dog Tofu while we are at work all day and we are SO grateful. He loves going to her place & he warmed up to her pretty quickly despite usually being nervous around most new people. She always goes above & beyond and we love knowing we have someone we can trust to watch him. :)”

“Stephanie and Corey were so lovely. Kept me updated throughout the day and immediately greeted my pup with the love that reassured me I was leaving her in good hands. Will be seeing them again soon!”

“Vivian is a repeat sitter for our dog Vini. Check ins are regular and our little nugget has many opportunities to socialize with other dogs while in her care. Vivian does a great job of vetting to ensure there is a harmonious pack which is greatly appreciated. She is experienced and a solid choice for a single or repeat booking.”

“Luis was the best sitter I’ve ever had. She kept me posted on everything my dog needed. She was so helpful and patience. It is so hard to find a good sitter especially for our furry babies. I will definitely be using her again.”

“Nosa was super super accommodating with my schedule, Roxy loves being with Nosa and he treats her so so well. I highly recommend Nosa and will definitely be sending Roxy to Nosa again!!!!”

About: I enjoy creating a special bond with dogs and cats, always going beyond walking, feeding, and keeping them company. I am committed to not disrupting current schedules while providing extra enrichment and giving your baby another human to trust. It is important to me that everyone leaves better because of that trust and time spent, including myself. Special skills include long term care, caring for 3+ animals, puppy training, medication administration (including cbd), senior care, caring for anxious animals, as well as reptile care (I am a reptile parent). I work freelance, giving me full control of my weekly schedule. Pet care seamlessly fits into my routine because it is already a part of my routine, I have been in pet care consistently for 6 years. I also must be walked daily, and enjoy taking those walks in different neighborhoods with different companions. I prefer to care for pets in spaces where they feel comfortable and safe, their home. While I am in your home I am always respectful and clean. It is important to me that I have an understanding of house rules, your pets schedule, and emergency contacts including their vet.
About: I’m a mom of two, and I have two Maltese of my own, so I know how much our pets mean to us. I genuinely love dogs and enjoy spending time with them, whether that’s going for walks, playing, or just giving them lots of attention and cuddles. I’ll care for your dog like they’re part of my own family, and I’ll make sure you get plenty of updates and photos so you can relax while you’re away. I work from home full-time and have a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely run, play, and enjoy the outdoors. I love spending time outside with them, whether we’re playing in the yard or taking a relaxing stroll around the neighborhood. Because I work from home, I also offer flexible drop-in visits and dog walks before work, during my lunch break, or after my workday. Whether your pup needs a potty break, some exercise, playtime, or a little extra love while you’re away, I’m happy to help! I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely play, and I can crate your dog if needed. Since I work from home full-time, your dog will never be left alone for long and will receive lots of attention and care throughout the day. I also offer drop-in visits and dog walks before work, during my lunch break, and after work to fit your schedule.
“Talk about coming through in the clutch! I had to find a dog sitter the night before a birthday brunch this past Sunday. Daisy came through with flying colors! Not only is she very engaging and personable, but super professional, easy to talk to, provided updates on our dog while under her care. Five stars all around! I’ll definitely use her again and again when need be. Thank you Daisy!”

I am very passionate about my job and making sure the pet Im taking care of has all of its needs, and ofcourse some slight spoilage! I started out in dog daycares and moved on to do all kinds of animal care work. I have experience with senior dogs and puppies as young at 2 months old! I am educating myself to become a dog trainer and can help provide tips when it comes to building human-canine relationships. I can also do specials needs such as insulin shots. I am also in the process of becoming a certified Animal Handler in New York State, so I can further my education in animal care. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry baby! I currently work part time once a week at a Grooming academy. So i will have plenty of time during the week to spend time with your pet! I also live with animals so I am constantly spending my time walking feeding and caring for them. I walk the dogs at least 4 times a day. Morning, mid day, evening, and late night relief. Also depending on the weather a trip to the dog park. I live in a spacious apartment with 3 cats and two dogs. I have done my best to provide a sanctuary here for my animals and any visitsors who comes across us. I have one room dedicated to the animal with cat trees and soft spaces. Water fountains (for dogs and cats) and beds for lounging. I have gates for separation during feeding times and a nice big couch everyone is welcome to lounge on!
“The photos we get of our dog Vini’s stay speaks for itself- he’s comfortable and enjoys his time with Jonathan. As dog parents, that’s the most important thing. You will receive regular updates throughout the stay and all instructions of care will be followed.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and been a dog owner since I was 10 years old. I love caring for them and providing fun, comfort and companionship! I work from home so am very flexible with days & times. In addition to being home all day, my work schedule is flexible so not too bogged down at my desk all day. Lots of time to walk and play! I have a big, comfortable, quiet apartment. I live right near Carl Schurz park and about 20 minutes from Central Park - great for walks :)

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life. Our dogs are like children to us. Now, as we work from home and have a big yard, we have the ideal setup for happy, safe dogs—and want to share it with your fur baby! Stay at Penny’s House - We’ve raised our 3-year-old mini poodle to be a happy, gentle and well-rounded pup. She loves to play and cuddle, and gets along very well with other dogs and cats! She’s a great hostess. - Our home is very loving and safe. Someone is always around to give cuddles and love, plenty of cozy places to hang out, and hazards are always out of reach. - We have a fully fenced, big backyard where your beloved fur baby can play fetch and get out all their zoomies frequently and safely. It's also covered in grass and shaded by large trees, so don't worry about hot summer days! - We don't anticipate anything happening, but just in case, rest assured because our home is only *one block* away from an excellent animal hospital! - We’ll do our best to make sure that your little buddy will feel loved and at home here, getting the same level of care you like to provide to them. - We’ve had senior dogs and a dog with diabetes, so we are very careful and will always give attention to detail to adapt to their needs, whether it be diet, exercise, attention, or anything else. We read ingredients and will follow your instructions carefully. - We will keep you updated with photos and videos so you know they’re safe and having a good time. - ¡Se habla español! Si tu perrito se siente más cómodo que le hable en español, solo díganos cuáles comandos utilizan. It’s hard to find someone to trust with your pet; we found this out the hard way. So we hope our home can be the place you rely on to feel safe leaving your little bundle. REQUIREMENTS: We’re flexible and easygoing. But because we want everyone to have a good, safe time, we do have a couple of requirements: 1) We require a meet-and-greet for all new clients before a stay to make sure our dog and yours get along well. 2) Your dog must be up-to-date on all vaccines: rabies, bordatella, lepto, etc. Because we work from home, we are available at home to take care of your little buddy full time for boarding and daycare at our home. A fully-enclosed, shaded backyard for zoomies and lots of walks around our safe, dog-friendly, and tree-lined neighborhood. Your fur baby will be under our supervision throughout the day and will get frequent trips to the yard and lots of time to play. We're also happy to walk your dog as often as you need. We’re always happy to be flexible with your schedule to accommodate both your and your dog’s needs.

About: I’ve grown up caring about pets - starting from rodents to taking care of stray dogs & cats. I got a dog later when I was older and took care of him since he was 2 months for over 6 years. He’s now happily living with my mom in another country due to some circumstances, but I miss being around a dog too much. He’s quite a character and pretty stubborn & yappy, so he hasn’t always been the easiest to walk, but that gave me plenty of experience 🙂 I’m currently working from home & part-time, so I set my own hours and am able to take breaks between my calls. I don’t work the whole day, so I can give your pet enough attention & playtime. I do not have a pet at home, and neither do I have a backyard. It’s a pretty spacious 1 bedroom with an elevator, and the park is not too far from the building.
About: My love for dogs started the moment a stray wandered into my yard when I was a child - I hid him in the backyard for three days before my parents found out ! :) I’ve been caring for animals in various capacities for most of my life and have been part of the Rover community since 2022. As a PhD student who does Rover full-time, I have the flexibility to be available when needed. Whether it’s drop-ins, house-sitting, boarding, or walks, I’m happy to accommodate your schedule - including last-minute bookings. Your pet will always have my complete, undivided attention! I’ll always respect your home and routines, following your rules and adapting to whatever works best for your companion. I’ll treat your fur baby with the same love and care you would, and do everything I can to make them comfortable and at ease while you are away. A note to pet parents: If your pet has any special needs, allergies, medications, or specific conditions or triggers, please share them with me. The more I know, the better I can care for them! Can’t wait to meet you! 🐾 I am currently a full-time PhD student working remotely. I typically have a few social events in the evening or weekends for a few hours. Otherwise I’m home and able to care for your furry one full time! :) I will always follow the rules of your home and take their health needs seriously, caring for them as if they were my own fur baby!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Woodlawn-Nordwood
I had such a wonderful experience with Corey and Stephanie! They took amazing care of my dog and truly treated her like she was one of their own. They kept me updated multiple times throughout the day, which gave me so much peace of mind knowing she was safe, happy, and being well cared for. I especially appreciated how attentive they were to her comfort around the other dogs at daycare. They made sure she felt safe and even took the time to walk her separately so she could have some one-on-one attention. That really showed me how much they genuinely care about each dog and their individual needs. Corey and Stephanie are incredibly kind, friendly, and clearly have a genuine love for dogs. I felt completely comfortable leaving my girl in their care, and I will absolutely be booking with them again. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for people who will care for your dog as if they were their own! 🐾❤️

We are new in the neighborhood and reached out to Lili about boarding and day care for our senior pups. Since our dog has become more finicky about things we wanted to take the process a bit slowly before boarding for multiple days. Lili was completely open to a meet and greet and dry run right away, and the first meeting went great. For our first day care day, our dog was being stubborn about walking down the street to her building. I was able to text Lili and she met us outside to help get our dog inside. This patience and flexibility, along with her warmth and ease in interactions with our dog, immediately impressed us. Lilis reassuring updates and pics from the session, and our dog's content demeanor after pickup, has been so great to see. How fantastic to have a good sitter as a neighbor. Thank you Lili!

Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of my dog for the day. You were extremely professional, attentive, and reliable, and it was clear from the start that my dog was in excellent hands. I truly appreciated the care, patience, and kindness you showed, and you did an outstanding job. It gave me great peace of mind knowing everything was handled so well. I would gladly recommend you to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring with animals.

Daisy did well with our kid. There was information provided about her plans for his stay. Her updates corresponded with what she told us. Our dog was happy. We know his temperament very well if he has a good experience vs a not so good one. He was content. Updates on our pup is of huge importance. Transparency is equally important and can serve as a deal breaker when leaving our dog with anyone. Daisy followed through with what she communicated. We received updates and text responses. Overall a good experience. Will consider her services again for our baby.

They were perfect! From drop-off to pick-up, I had zero issues. My one-year-old husky, who usually doesn’t like going to doggy sitters, LOVED them! She wanted to stay with them, lol! The prices were perfect, and I would definitely recommend them to ANYONE who needs a pet sitter! 10/10, will book again!

Maria is simply the best sitter and there is no comparison. We’ve used her to care for our boy for overnight trips and for daycare and he simply loves her. She is thoughtful, very communicative, shares updates and videos and most importantly she cares for your dog like she would her own. Highly recommend!!
