About: IMPORTANT NOTES: I screen all pets prior to care to ensure they are in good health and are up to date with their vaccines. Please note that Rover charges sitters a 20% fee to use the platform and my price reflects this. However, they charge owners an additional 11% fee that is calculated when you check out and is not included in my pricing. I run a small business from my home, which means I am able to give all my dog guests ample attention and time. It also allows me more flexibility to serve my customersâ schedules and any emergencies that come up. I live in a semi-suburban area of the Bronx in the first floor of a house with a small yard and a well-secured fenced. It is perfect for the dogs to play in, sniff about or even sunbathe. For safetyâs sake, I monitor the dogs anytime they are in the yard. There is an external gate leading to the front door of my house, which I keep shut to prevent any dogs from running out unexpectedly. Finally, out an abundance of caution, I affix Apple airtags to the collars of all my guest dogs. In addition to two extra large crates, my home has The apartment is full of dog beds, including two âdensâ in my closets. I also have multiple rooms and dog gates, which allows me to separate dogs if necessary. I ALWAYS feed dogs separately for safety. Pets are allowed on the couch but not on my bed. My shower is equipped for bathing dogs. I have two dog first aid kits (one in the house and a second in the car) and am familiar with dog first aid and CPR. I have extra pet seatbelts, harnesses if transportation is required, as well as extra collars and leashes for walks.
About: Iâve taken care of young puppies with energetic personalities and senior fur buddies with special needs. All are given love and care from the heart. Additionally, I have an eight year-old pug who is my best friend and I always try to make sure that he is included in everything I do. He is also a senior dog, so I always try to make sure that his diet and health is my top priority. He knows that he can trust me whenever he is feeling down or happy, and I plan to provide the same love towards your pup! I'm a 22-year-old grad student at Lehman college studying speech pathology. Most of my classes are at night, allowing a lot of daytime to spend caring for fur babies. I love nature walks and spending time with my pug (my best friend). In my home, I have a senior pug who is loving and stays in his world but will keep your furry friend company. My family is also loving to all animals, so extra love will be guaranteed in my home. When it comes to your pet's needs, I take pride in following instructions and specific because I value health and I would like others to do the same with my beloved dog.

Iâve trained him to be able to be free at the park and being able to come back to me without running away. He knows not to eat food from the floor. Heâs a very obedient dog, I make sure the dogs that I board feel comfortable with me and my dog, I like to walk them at least 3 times a day and for long period of time, I have a park near by where I like to take them to sniff around and run around in the dog park. I also give them treats when at home, dogs are allowed to be on the bed, I provide access to water 24/7. Iâm working full time, as I am a stay at home mom of a 4 month old baby. Iâm able to play with the dogs, and walk them outside 3-4 times a day. I have a 3 years old male Pomeranian/ King Charles spaniel dog, 20 pounds he's very anxious at first but warms up perfectly fine after. I live in an apartment, I donât keep my dog in a crate but heâs crate trained. Iâm able to keep your dog in crate if you prefer. Other than that I usually donât have any problems with dogs being on the bed etc.. My dog doesnât isnât aggressive, heâs just anxious when meeting new dogs. But he likes to have company since heâs by myself. I have my living room free with plenty of space for them play around, I recently moved into a new apartment so I dont have any furniture in the living room.

Morris Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
Highly recommend Dean! His communication style is professional & caring. He eased all my anxiety as it was difficult leaving my new puppy in someoneâs care. He gives updates, is prompt, and even helped my pup socialize with trusted dogs. I couldnât ask for a better sitter! Iâll be booking again.

For me to have found someone under such short notice, who not only accepted with less than 12 hours notice, but to also have truly been a pet person was a blessing. Nellysa and her husband were super kind. They treated Charlie with such great care. Truly feel thankful to have found them!! Thank you so much Nellysa! You guys are amazing and Iâm truly so so thankful!

Daisy did well with our kid. There was information provided about her plans for his stay. Her updates corresponded with what she told us. Our dog was happy. We know his temperament very well if he has a good experience vs a not so good one. He was content. Updates on our pup is of huge importance. Transparency is equally important and can serve as a deal breaker when leaving our dog with anyone. Daisy followed through with what she communicated. We received updates and text responses. Overall a good experience. Will consider her services again for our baby.

It's always scary asking someone to watch your pet, Ashley is great, no hesitation leaving our pup with her. Constant updates throughout the day and a happy pup when we picked her up. We'll continue using Ashley to watch our pup and don't hesitate to recommend her to others.
